Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

So I read some review and decided to invest in tobii. , MSFS seems understand that tobii is installed I see selection in control setting. However, when I go to fly head movement has no effect on camera position. I Crossed check with tobii app everything seems calibrated and works. I tried to use F12 camera reset camera. I also tried turning on /off "track ir" option. Any idea what could be wrong? P.S. I'm running in a full screen mod

I am currently getting Warnings for "Red" GENERATOR OFF" & "BATTERY OVERHEAT" , as well as the odd "Yellow" "BATTERY HOT" & "STBY ELEC PWR ON". I have "Reset" the "Generator" switch and I have the "STBY ALT PWR" Switch in the "ON" position. If I reset the "Generator" the Red Warning disappears, but does come back on after a short period.

I have previously bought all my airplanes and scenery on the Marketplace. I am looking at buying the BN2 Islander and see that it is cheaper on the Marketplace (US$24.99) vs at BlackBox (€24.99), but there is no version history on the Marketplace as there is on BlackBox. Has the Islander been updated on the Marketplace? How long do updates take to post? I know I am talking about a specific airplane here, but in general, is there a good reason to buy on the Marketplace vs vendors' home pages?

With the Fenix A320 the plane's computer 'instructs' you to retard when at 20 feet above the runway. What is the correct procedure for the 737-800. Does the pilot cut the auto throttle? - at or around 20 feet above the runway - or does the auto throttle cut itself off when the main wheels touch the runway? Thanks in advance

If the iniBuilds A310 is study level, I think the iniBuilds A310 is worth like $60 USD itself. I would have expected iniBuilds to price their A310 similar to the Fenix A320 and PMDG 737. $60 USD is practically the price of the Standard edition of MSFS. Personally, I may have purchased the Beaver if it didn't come free in SU11. Maybe it's me, as I have to admit at spending ages trying to get my head around the camera views. I understand the basic elements and have actually saved some custom views, but for the life of me, I simply cannot, no matter what I do, save a specific pilot view in the VC. I save a view that I am happy with, then whenever I click the button on my PFC yoke, it returns me to the position I have saved in the aircraft, but it's always zoomed out, or not quite in the same place that I saved. Also, I notice the outside views always have to be saved prior to every flight. Is there a bug in this (along with many others) does anyone else have this problem, or am I not understanding…

Hello everybody, This nice program works very fine for me. Thankyou. I just have a question.about the TTS settings. I run my Flightsim in German as I live in Switzerland. Do I need to change the MSFS language to english to hear the english voices? I used the cmd.exe, then entered in fsuipc7 and with "wsay -l" I see a lot of voices. It seems that only item 1 can be used which is Hedda in German. I used the number for an english voice and entered it in the parameter setting (6 instead of 1) but nothing changed. Guys is it safe to uninstall all the bloat ie : safari stuff, planes i never ever use, landing challenges etc. i reckon i could half my install without all this stuff, just concerned it could course problems if i do it? lol

I now have 12-14 minutes loading time to get the World Map page in MSFS v. 1.27.21.0. Not that long ago I had around 2-3 minutes. Is this normal and to be expected now with this build or do I have a local issue. What are your loading time?

Just lately I just cannot get into a flight... Anything between 30 seconds and a minute I get constant BSOD for a myriad of reasons..So frustrating as I have no idea what has changed.. Today I fired up prepar3d for the first time in a while and had no issues at all so it must point to MSFS 2020... I will wait to see if Sim update 11 fixes things..

This may have already been discussed, but I can't find it. After being away from th sim for a few weeks, I start it normally and it seems to work fine, problem is when I select an airport, it zooms in as per usual but no airport terrain, as in taxiways or buildings. The runways and parking spots show up fine but they are on a background that looks like camouflage. This happens at all airports addons, payware and native airports. Any thoughts? Mike

My new PC is supposed to arrive this Saturday, and the first thing I am going to do is install MSFS 2020. I have used FSUIPC for years. I have also watched numerous Youtube videos on MS 2020, and several on setting up controls. I notice that every video I have seen so far, seems to use the controller setup menus in MS 2020, I am wondering if setting the controls up with FSUIPC has any advantages over the built in controller settings. Most of the posts that I have read on this topic seem to be months old, and I am thinking that any of the updates so far, may have made controller setups in 2020 almost at the same level as one would get by setting them up with FSUIPC.

All, Had my Buttkicker for years and it was working fine with MSFS202 until recently .It works with the Realtek Audio Manager with all 5,1 speakers working as they should, including the subwoofer and the Buttkicker. No joy however in MSFS 2020 I cannot recall altering anything in the Audio settings. Can anyone help out?? Thank You Nic

Sim tourism....

I just don't get it, good performance on take off but every time I go to land, the scenery doesn't load and then as I get close to the ground this word not allowed again. Settings don't seem to matter. I don't know if this is a GSX or AIG or just too much stuff loaded and graphics settings too high with a complex airplane. I think I will wait and see if things improve with SU11. Any one found the real solution to this?

Has anyone else had problems with Cockpit Quickviews (CQ) after SU7? All my Cockpit Quickviews are inoperative, regardless of key choice or even peripheral used (joystick, keyboard). After extensive tests I determined that: 1- all physical buttons/keys assigned to CQ work fine by themselves (checked by assigning them to other, different actions); 2- the problem remains when assigning the same Quickviews to keys/buttons different from those in (1); 3- the problem affects all (and only) Cockpit Quickviews; 4- the problem does NOT affect External Quickviews. In addition, Cockpit Look X (X= L/R, U/D, ... using e.g. the joystick Hat Switch) work…
