Miltech Simulations have announced in Facebook that they are creating a version of the MV-22B Osprey Tilt-rotor for MSFS expected to release on 4th Nov on Orbx and Marketplace. They are also announcing a companion product the "Amphibious Ready Group"; which is a set of vehicles and missions built around the Osprey's capabilities. https://m.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=pfbid08T5KxabRstWwzjYm9ndBs9NuB45CyQYFJH4RuxgDpYVtXp33d9jksmTA8MXZUYKal&id=100706069088620 It's an interesting concept so I'll be curious to see how this turns out, though I suspect they price will be high enough for such an ambitious project that I'll want to see a range of revie…

Want to start this by saying, please do not turn this into a match between MSFS and XP12. It's been two years, pick your sim and move on, none of us have to hear about your choices in brand of milk, chicken or beef, or flightsim preferences. So xEnviro was released this week, and on the FSElite article regarding, there's this bit: For a product that's $42.00, do we have any thoughts on this? I've heard it was a great program for XP, but I'm taken aback by admitting the cash grab... and then going right back to XP as the focus... It looks good but I just can't even imagine saying the release was basically not in good faith. I'm having issues with t…

The 2.8.0 is out, but the install notes still say to uninstall. Last update mentioned you didn't have to do that anymore, the new installer will uninstall for you and that nullified having to give install code. Anyone tried installing over the older version yet?? without un-installing 1st??

I see others saying they are having issues, mostly being asked to insert a disk. I'm getting the following error, probably the same reason. You need to be online to open this on this device. To open this on this device when offline, go to the ‘Offline Permissions’ setting in the Store Settings page. You can change this setting the next time you go online.

I just installed the TCA quadrant. The sim recognizes the throttle and sees the movements when in the controls page, but not when I am in the Fenix. Is there a step I missed. I know i need to go into the MCDU to calibrate, but the lever isn't moving in the sim. Any thoughts? The spoiler axis works, engine start, parking brake and gear works but not the flaps . Any help would be apprecitated

If I create a flight Plan in Simbrief, how do I get the PMDG 737 to see it as a Company Route in the CDU? Also, not sure what directory to have simbrief save the PMDG 737 flight plan to.

Hello, Fellows! Could you advise the most convenient and optimal software for sim video capture? I know that many people use nvidia shadow play. Other use OBS software. Nvidia shadow play, as far as I understand, consumes less fps, but loads CPU with it processes running in the background. OBS consumes more FPS, as I heard. What are your opinios regarding the matter? Thanks in advance!

Normally if you do that reversion, then you can't FLY without redownloading the whole sim (with Steam that terrible business is called Verifying). But this trick makes it fast and easy. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/unable-to-opt-out-of-su11/549448/23 #19: "Un-enroll out of the Xbox insider beta, restart your system. (Steam chose Beta = NONE) Check Microsoft store for an update (should be 1.8gb) (Steam does this for you automatically). Once it's done, boot it up and check the world map, and version number, make sure its SU10 Close the sim Move (do not delete) the \Official\OneStore\fs-base-ui-pages folder. I say MOVE, because you…

Just did a short hop from Reno to Salt Lake. When using the drone view, the view gradually rolls and doesn't stay horizontal. Is there a workaround for this ? Then, flying IFR, on descent to Salt Lake, ATC asks for altitudes of 9000 to 10000 every 5-10 seconds. Sometimes 9300, sometimes 9400, other times back to 10.000. This occurs repeatedly until the controller hands me off to approach. Not a deal breaker, but definitely kills the "immersion". Any workaround for this ?? Great sim overall though

https://forum.pmdg.com/forum/main-forum/general-discussion-news-and-announcements/223434-29oct22-very-quick-weekend-update-entropy-abounds#post223456 Take it from someone who has taught his share of chemical thermodynamics, entropy is a somewhat overused word. Nonetheless, an interesting update. Good weekend everyone.

Watching the trailer for the gliders a big question arose to me. IRL thermal activity mostly depends both on cloud coverage (and of course a multitude of other meteorological parameters) and position of the sun. For simplicity let's assume IRL there is the strongest thermal activity at noon and no thermal activity at midnight. Now that becomes a problem in MSFS because the meteorological paramaters like cloud coverage depend on the weather whereas the position of the sun depends on the time of day (and year) set in the sim. No problem if you fly with the time in sim set to live. But if you set a different time of day in the sim it won't work out. …

.. offered at two prices: - full price: you get the right to use it as long as you want -a symbolic, greeeeeeatly reduced price, like say 2£ for a 'hifi' plane, but once you crash land you have to buy it again. I'm sure that would raise the stakes and make flying more interesting. And who knows, maybe that would increase the sales? That way we'd be more interested in trying every plane that's offered? Or you disagree?
