AH Mosquito for FS 2020, compatible FS 2024
Finally! I'm still on a semi-enforced lay-off from simming after moving house (priorities!), but when I set things up again, this is a must buy. My maternal grandfather served in 109 Squadron (hence my username & avatar), so it's wonderful to finally see the B aircraft get some love, with the real word only seemingly interested in building FBVI replicas. AH's livery panel is a little messed up though. They correctly label F fro Freddie as 'HS-F' but label the 105 Sqn plane as 'A-GB' when it should be GB-A, as the dual letters of course refer to the squadron, with the single letter referring to the individual aircraft. If they'd used the starboard side view for the templates, it would have made more sense as all the aircraft would then be 'Sqn-Aircraft'. I hope the bomb bay doors are customizable, because the video shows a B.IV with two circular windows in them. Those are ports for photo reconnaissance (PR.) marques, not the bombers. Plus, there needs to be the option to blackout the bomb-aimer's window. Probably minor points to most people but they irk me!๐

What does F1 stand for?
Cat calling is rightly frowned upon these days.๐ I was almost prepared to believe it was real for the first couple of seconds (despite the depth of focus issues and unusually high press presence) because it was Fuji Speedway and I wouldn't put the Japanese past doing something like that!๐

Storm on the way for UK!
I'd see a doctor about that. ๐คญ Dry this morning here, followed by drizzle so light that I didn't see it slowly re-dampening the laundry which had been enjoying the light breeze. ๐ Properly raining now. At least the dry, chilly and light winds for tomorrow should be more pleasant for picking up my keys...

Storm on the way for UK!
Thanks. One of my niece's partners was in removals, so he's offered to drive a van for me, so all I have to concern myself with is hiring it and filling it! And watching the weather forecast.๐ค Not the best time of year to move house, but beggars can't be choosers.

Storm on the way for UK!
Cheers. Moving home is stressful enough without the addition of extreme weather!

Storm on the way for UK!
It certainly is! The Central Belt (That's predominantly Glasgow in the west to Edinburgh in the east and up into the southern areas of Fife is taking a right beating. One Ryanair flight from Stansted inexplicably* tried to land in Edinburgh late this morning, despite nothing flying below 30,000 ft around that part of the country. Took one loop around Peebles, another before lining up with Runway 24 and finally did a go around before heading back to Stansted (with Flightradar originally showing it as diverting to Cologne!). From my vantage point, a couple of miles away, it looked like a smooth enough approach (too far to detect wing wobble) but I'm sure it would have been a pretty rough experience for everyone on board. *Probably trying to avoid delay payouts rather than achieving customer satisfaction. Personally, I was supposed to be travelling to pick up the keys to my new property. No transport means it'll be Monday now. Hope it's still there when I arrive!๐

ORBX to Release TBF Grumman Avenger
If we get a Close Encounters of the Third Kind DLC, you might get the crew back, sans aircraft.โบ๏ธ

No 2020 / 2024 separate forums...
The last 7 posts have not been about the topic raised. If there's even the most remotest chance of Avsim reconsidering (though I'll eat my virtual hat if that happens๐), diluting the original motive of the thread isn't likely to help the cause. I know it's common for threads to wander off-topic, but in this case... Oh, and in before the seemingly inevitable๐

MSFS 2024 has been released!
Oh dear. Normally I try to at least skim read every post in a thread before responding, but in this case... ๐ถ I've no intention of sounding smug when I say this, but I'm glad I'm not ready to be installing 2024 for some time yet. Fingers crossed everyone gets up and running soon. And I think the advice not to complicate their initial experiences in the sim by porting 2020 add-ons too soon is all the more pertinent.

This is like a bad Abbott & Costello Routine
I don't know.

A Thanks to the AVSIM Community
We're like almost any family really: a bunch of people with something that binds us together, but which causes the odd squabble. Sometimes we have makeup... err... posts after a disagreement, sometimes we never speak again! There's the odd black sheep in the family (who insists on still using A. N. Other sim๐), but we either tolerate or ignore them (unless they bug us too much๐คช). But, for the most part, we get along pretty well. I hope that my contributions to the forum have been largely popular, helpful (and humorous where they were intended to be) , and I equally appreciate the positive contributions others have made to make my MSFS experience better. Until such time as I buy 2024, I'll probably be a bit miffed at my family members going on and on about their latest purchase, but I'll keep up with the Jones's in time. ๐ Here's to the next next page in the family album. ๐ธ ๐ป๐ฅณ๐

Whats your MSFS2020 to 2024 transfer checklist?
Well, it wouldn't - they're different sims! ๐ No hurry for me. As I've stated previously, I will have greater demands on my finances and time than buying and using a new sim. So, I'll have the self-enforced luxury of waiting until the initial bedding-in period has occurred, and initial bugs identified and hopefully fixed before using a vanilla 2024. After that, I'll see what I can remove from it (fingers crossed for no more 'Aviators liveries' and a UI that allows for simple removal of unwanted liveries without manual editing and deletion of files๐ค), followed by gradually installing compatible products. Could take some time, but no rush.

Honey Badger V Leapords!
Not doubting the Honey Badger's grit, but they were toying with it as a domestic cat plays with a mouse without killing it. Part of the learning process. It's just that in this case, the leopards probably got a few bites and scratches themselves. Both are mustelids, so in fact they are. Unfortunately, this Honey Badger didn't fare so well in a battle with a Red Bull.๐ Still, wouldn't want to go up against that set of teeth!

FSLTL base models
No need to be over-sensitive - perhaps you missed the winking smiley. As for the previous thread, it was only on the second page. If we kept reposting things when they left page one, the forum would be a chaotic mess.

Ornithophobia
They've good reason to be scared: Even Snoop wasn't safe!: I used to be a big fan of LIMU Emu... and Doug, but wondered why they tried to replace them: That's until his darker side was revealed:
