Beta testers, posting in the AVSIM Forums, should make everyone aware of your affiliation(s) in your signature so our membership can see where you are coming from when posting. Tonight while I was browsing YouTube, I came across an old channel that I used to watch years ago for flight Sim. That channel was frooglesim. I took this picture way back when we took the kids to Florida. There was a fire engine truck following the shuttle. Our guide said, out of the BILLIONS of people on Earth, only a handful ever got this close to the Space Shuttle just three hours after it returned to Earth from orbit. Someone said this was the only time he’d been this close to the shuttle as well, even after about 25 years of being around the launch pad.

Trying to figure out the proper A/P procedure when I'm doing an ILS approach. The ILS typically has at least two waypoints that bring you first onto the localizer then to glideslope capture. Assuming I get vectors to final, should I then put the autopilot back in NAV / VNAV mode or simply arm LOC and after capture, ensure I'm on a good decent profile using V/S to capture glideslope. Any advice from RL pilots (especially airliner crew) is much appreciated.
