Hangar Chat
This forum is for the discussion of things you might discuss when going into an airport hangar. Please make sure that your topic isn't covered in another forum before posting here. Please refrain from controversial topics...politics, religion, conspiracy theories, climate change, COVID etc. Topics that elicit or are deemed by staff likely to elicit heated argument, contention, or otherwise objectionable banter will be removed from view. We allow some latitude, but please remember that, first and foremost, this is a flight-simulator oriented site frequented by people from all walks of life.

So the question i have are: 1. How long does it take after you get to the gate and shut down the plane before you can make your way home or to the place you are staying? Is there much to do after shutdown? 2. Given multiple people use the same flight-deck, who actually cleans all the touch surfaces after use? Up to each pilot or are there cleaners that do this? Cheers and thanks for any insights!

When this is fully compliant with UK regs I can see it being very popular like it is in Europe. Not sure if you guys in the US have it? This video is unavailable.

Removing their feathers. A large horde of archers standing right behind the main army, and shooting arrows at the enemy formations does not require accuracy. What's important is the volume of fire and distance.

Today is the historic day. The first time humankind has gone back to the Moon in over 50 years. This will be the furthest astronauts have ever traveled. Of course, the endeavor is not without risk, with some estimates for a catastrophic failure between 1% and 5%, so lets spare a thought for the four brave astronauts that will blast off from Launch Complex 39B at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida later today. China have officially committed to building a permanent functional base on the Moon, with the location of that base said to be the lunar south pole, chosen for its water ice resources and long periods of sunlight for power. Not really simulation related but thought it would be fun to post. This free website displays airborne hot spots for untowered airports in the United States. If you have a favorite you like to fly and out in the simulator, type in the airport code or use one of the menu selections. ADS-B Loss of Separation Analysis Mike

I thought this announcement was interesting. For one, I support this move by United. I hope other airlines follow suit. https://www.gatechecked.com/united-airlines-crackdown-headphone-audio-video-calls-11491?ref=flightaware

Hey all, I'm an aviation student trying to track down a copy of the AFM/POH for the King Air 350 to help with some research. I specifically I need to track down the W&B data - BEW (DOW) and all Maximum structural weight limitations, CG range, Fuel and passenger capacity, all relevant arms, Fuel consumption with cruise power setting, MAC length, LE MAC station, and the original W&B graphs/envelope too if possible. Hoping someone could possibly point me in the right direction? Apologies if I've hit the wrong forum in advance! Cheers
