I know in the world of train enthusiasts there are a lot of folks who love the steam era and not modern diesel or electric trains. In that vain, I know there are some very good slightly older aircraft for msfs2024 but I was wondering on people's thoughts on a complete classic flight sim. I mean not just classic aircraft but airports depicted as in years gone by, I'm thinking of the 1930's, 40's, 50's and perhaps into early 60's. Can you imagine classic aircraft done to high quality, (I know some already exist), like some of the following. Boeing 737-200, 727. Douglas DC3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and DC9, (not MD's). Convair 3,s, 4's , 5's series, 880 and 990 Coronado. De Havilland Co…

An old military pilot was asked by the BBC presenter if he had any especially memorable account to share. "Well, there I was flying over the English Channel and all of a sudden I had 3 Fokkers to my right, 2 Fokkers to my left, and one on my tail"! BBC: " "I will remind the audience that a "Fokker" is a WW I German airplane, and he was in WW-II." Old Pilot: "Them Fokkers were Messerschmidt's"!

If anyone likes to watch beautifully crafted, nicely paced films instead of so many of the violent, thug or horror movies that are so prevalent today, then I can highly recommend Train Dreams. Have a tissue handy! Available on netflix.

Hi everyone, After about a year of R&D and countless prototypes, I finally developed a Cessna 172SP-inspired flaps module that I’m really happy with. The focus was on achieving a mechanism that feels as close as possible to the real aircraft. The module uses a carbon-fiber clamp system with multiple mounting options, and the same clamp can support other modules as well (including third-party ones using an adapter I designed). There’s currently ultra-limited stock available on Etsy, and it’s on sale until the 25th. For those looking for something simpler or more budget-friendly, I also made a momentary flaps UP/DOWN module. Both versions come with their …

Amazon is currently having problems. I usually get the Dogs of Amazon page (which I love!) and sometimes a specific item, when it comes up, has no price or says "currently unavailable". This appears to be widespread. But the real news is that I Googled "is amazon having issues" and got a good overview of what is going on. Now, I realize that some people dislike the Google AI overview, but this is a case where it's really useful. Just gonna have to wait it out, I guess. A book I'd been waiting for was released on Kindle Unlimited today, but I can't get it at the moment. On one page it invited me to join Kindle Unlimited. Kindle Reading Insights does not appear to…
