  1. Really impressed with this program, Jonathan. I really like the fact that your program allows the Microsoft FF2 joystick to have an excellent spring effect so that the joystick centers beautifully. In both the version I use for P3d by Russell Dirks, called FS Force, or the version I've been using for MSFS, called XP Force, the joystick is limp and without strong adjustable centering. Your program is perfect for the MFF2 joystick. Honestly, I've been using this stick since it was introduced by Microsoft. I've had 5 of them (Ebay only place to get them now) over the decades of use, and this is the first time I feel real CONTROL with this stick. Thanks again. Stan
  2. It just keeps getting BETTER! Jonathan, you are indeed a superstar. Enjoying every minute, and the fact that you keep working with it to make it even better is truly amazing. The new beta is working for me and the SAVE feature is solid. I am able to pull up my profile and it's intact and remarkably flexible. Stan
  3. AI should be used to REPLACE photogrammetry that is horrendous in MSFS.
  4. I think it's definitely ready. I saved a profile and flew two flights today in both a Cirrus Visionjet (from Seattle to KSUN in Idaho) and a GA Cessna (this was a short one), and I really enjoyed my settings saved just the way I like them. Really an excellent contribution to the Sim Community, Jonathan. It's the first FF program that I can use and adjust every aspect of my forces. I'll bet many simmers are going to try to acquire the Microsoft FF joystick. Better yet, Microsoft should produce a new FF joystick. I just can't imagine flying with a dead stick as most simmers do. Something wrong with that IMHO. Stan
  5. Tested today (also left you an email on some specifics) and I really enjoyed it. Touchdown effects excellent, and I think the takeoff roll is pretty good. I know there are adjustments that I have to learn at this point. I would love to see a force feedback THUMP when you hit a turbulent pocket. I am going to keep using it and hopefully others will try it. Since a FF joystick is necessary, you should not expect a lot of comments on this forum because the majority of simmers don't have them. However, I believe this is a phenomenal project an I hope you are able to keep refining it. I'm a fan! Stan
  6. I will test it tonight. Yes, I have the Store version.
  7. Getting lots of Orange and Red (Simconnect) comments in Diagnostics. Red are Timeout Exceptions which say "Timeout Exception: autodetect neither MSFS nor X Plane responded within 3s". Orange are "re-trying" comments. The DOCTOR says MSFS Reachable and SimConnect Config. I know its Armed and it is definitely powered on. I'm sure I'll figure it out, but if you have any ideas, I'd appreciate it.
  8. Downloaded and tried. 1st attempt in MSFS2024, I couldn't get it to work. I'll keep trying to find out what I'm doing wrong here. I hit the space bar but it didn't seem to change anything. Wondering where I should place the program? It goes to my C drive (App data). It asks if I want a different location. Where should the correct install location be? I have separate drives for MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024, and P3dv5.4.
  9. I've been successfully using my MS FF2 joystick ever since it came out. With P3d, I use Russell Dirk's software, FS Force, and with MSFS, I use XP Force. I am totally happy with both of these programs, and I will NEVER give up my MS FF2 joystick. You'll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands! I bought several of them from Ebay just so I'm never without one. I've tried dozens of other joysticks, but once you feel the runway texture with a slight jolt on landing, and the runway rolling on takeoff, you'll NEVER go back to another joystick without the capability. Land correctly and you have a normal touchdown feel...land hard, and you certainly feel the force of that landing with this joystick. It's as real as it gets.
  10. It's hard to explain how much I really love flying the HondaJet in 2024. It's the perfect plane for me. I love, especially the Garmin G-3000 navigation system and I love the plane's handling above all. It's so much fun to fire up the HJ anywhere in the world and easily set the Nav system to where you are, the waypoint you would like to pass over, and the destination. I'm probably so excited because I still have difficulty with nav systems in the Citations of the world, and and airliners. The HondaJet is my go to right now and I enjoy it every day. The AUTOTHROTTLE is another phenomenal part of this autopilot, and it gives you that satisfaction and confidence to leave the cockpit and get a snack, beer, etc. Hope you all love this jet as much as I do.
  11. "He who angers me...defeats me!" I've learned long ago how to deal with stress. Live in the present and don't re-live the past. Look forward to the future.
  12. NEVER go a day without my AVSIM "fix"! The people on this forum are so helpful and have been so important in my flight simulation life. I have been simming since the beginning and have had every sim package that Microsoft and Lockheed Martin have produced. I often needed guidance and help with finding things, fixing things, and recommending things. AVSIM has always been there. Every day I start with the HANGER forum, go on to the MSFS forum, and end with the P3d forum. I don't even miss my AVSIM days when I travel, and my wife and I travel all over the world. Flight simulation keeps me sane and I often reproduce all my real flights or flights in the news. It's always interesting getting the opinions of world flights and aviation "incidents" that are in the news from AVSIM forum members. Keep up the good work, AVSIM. Stan
