Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

WT G1000NXi Hi all, I've been away from the hobby for about 4 months. I don't know if it's due to an update or SU that's occurred, but I now cannot get the VNAV vertical track to display on the G1000NXi's PFD. I have a valid flight plan and VNAV is shown as being set up correctly on the FPL page. A TOD is shown on the map on the MFD, and previously the vertical track would then appear on the PFD, when I was within a few miles of the TOD. (At which point I could engage 'VNAV' on the AP). Now, when I reach the TOD it disappears from the map, and I get no vertical track on the PFD. (I can confirm that the altitude set in the PFD FD/AP has been reduce…

Every time I fly this 737-600, I find another state bug. Look closely at the APP compared to the PFD, can you spot the issue? Regardless of the state issue, it "fake" auto-landed pretty well as you can see below (only barely passing the aiming point, and hit dead center overall)

Hello to you all Last week I experienced a strange MSFS 2020 event. I flew on the Sunday for 4 hours and shut the sim down as i have always done it since installing 7 months ago. In those 7 months i have never had a crash or failure of the Sim. However the day following I started up the computer and MSFS failed to get past the initial splash screens not even getting to checking for updates. It is the Steam edition. I have the MSFS2020 Steam edition and when installing the Fenix A320 (C: disk) it doesnt show up under «Aircrafts» in the MSFS 2020 Aircraft list. What do I wrong? The Fenix team have looked into my ticket submit and escalating the ticket not giving back a response after 4 weeks after submit . Help!

If FS starts in safe or normal, after Game loads the mouse pointer freezes the game after about 20 seconds of using the mouse. Mouse is Razr and works normally on all other games and software This only started to occur after Blue screen of death occurred recently. Pc is working normally now except for above mouse issue in FS2020 Any help much appreciated.

Hey, Quick question for those using popout screen on msfs20. I used to pop out mfd and pfd without any performance impact, but since the last update, if i popout an instrument i have a massive fps drop which make the game unplayable. Is this a knowed issue and is there any solution ? Makes me mad as i just finished my homecockpit and cant even enjoy it anymore. Ps: tried dx12 and 11 nothing changed and i have a high end pc Thanks

I know, another FSLTL "no traffic injected" post!🙄 I haven't spotted this precise issue on the forum. The first day I used FSLTL was a wow moment but since then it hasn't worked for me. I followed the setup video in the main FSLTL thread here. FSLTL starts the injection process (I haven't overridden the basic settings) but nothing appears, even if I leave it running for several minutes at the busiest of airports. Hi, I know this probably should be posted in the HW forums but I don’t see much activity there. I’m currently on a i7 7700k with a GTX 1070 and a Dell curved ultrawide 3440x1440 @60hz (non gsync). I’ve been planning on doing an upgrade once the new Nvidia cards came out. I was thinking about a 4080 16gb and Intel i5-13600 or i7-13700/ddr5. I was also thinking about doing this in an ITX case (i.e. Meshlicious) with an AIO. Any thoughts on this? Hi guys, does the monitor that displays MSFS (in my case 43" LG 4k TV) need to be plugged into the motherboard in order to take advantage of using the IGPU on my 9900k?. I have both my screens plugged into the GPU ( 3080 ) and i don't see the option for using the IGPU ?, i have it set the GPU even though it warns me against it, the IGPU is turned on in bios ( maximus hero ) . is there another setting i am missing ?

Hello Pilots I am having trouble installing the Asobo 172 into Neofly 4.0? Is there a certian path you have to follow?

Is it me or is the stock ATC usually very late on giving the descend instructions? I usually have to ask to lower the altitude myself. I’d say 2 out of 10 times it does it right, the others it’s very late.

Hi All, As the title suggests, I cannot seem to find any recent Dev team Q and A's on their twitch channel, and there does not appear any in their upcoming schedule. Did they decide to stop doing them? If that is the case it would be a shame, I really did enjoy watching them! Always possible that I have missed them somewhere! Is there a way I can control which World Updates are on my system through something like Addons Linker or some other way? I would like to streamline my system a bit while I am not flying in many of those areas of the world yet. Thanks ........ Rob

Here is the summary of issues I have found with the new version of PRO ATC SR. Their forum verification process is broken so I am posting here in the meantime. Cannot hide annoying PRO ATC SR popup. There is no button to toggle it on and off, which is a pretty big oversight, in my opinion. No one wants some ugly gray window covering the beautiful scenery. Cannot disable pro atc services if you want to switch to VATSIM. It forces you to quit it entirely and you cannot restart mid flight. If god forbid you start flight at the wrong airport, you get a non stop error spam you can only stop through the Task Manager. Doesn't seem like it was very…

Since I don't believe or like supporting subscription models, is it worth $75 for the lifetime deal? In the past I've probably spent to almost $200+ on all these avionics on various sims from FSX, P3D, X-plane. And this time I just want to be careful where I spend my money. Is the PMS GTN 750/650 in any way better than RXP or Flight1's version? One thing I like about the PMS version is that it uses the navdata of MSFS which makes it easier to update rather than the difficult way of updating it through the garmin trainer. I want something close to the real unit, and since PMS isn't using the garmin trainer, I'm not sure how well it emulates the real world unit. Would like …

No idea why this is happening. I have checked my joystick settings, used a different joystick, all of that. Is this a Beta issue? Symptoms are 1. When I take off, I can enable AP, but within a minute I get an AP Failure or a TOGA LOCK annunciation. 2. No matter what I do, I can't get it to reset AP. I turn off auto throttle, reset the flight directors, but the AP just does not turn on. Again, this is not something that happened before. Could be a beta issue, but I haven't seen anyone else complaining so throwing this out there - any ideas?

Anyone notice this happening? It happened before I updated to PMDG's latest version but it persists after the new installation too. I've tried assigning nose down trim to something else but nothing budges it. Nose up still works as always.

Just a few bits of information for people... I downloaded a lovely little free aircraft over at flightsim.to - a Tecnam P92. I flew it around for a few hours last night and it is absolutely delightful to fly. It trims out nicely and is quite stable for a 'little one'. The developer has already updated it to V 1.1, and now it is even better. The developer is very responsive, and seems very talented to build this from scratch. I've noticed after one of the updates, there is a setting called AMD FIDELITYFX Sharpening. What does this do and what is a reasonable setting? It was set at 200 but I don't notice anything from before so I am curious as to what this does. I am also running DX12 so maybe that has something to do with it. Also, based on my system specs in my sig, what would be a good setting for anisotropic filtering and texture supersampling? I never understood what those should be set to in the sim and the nvidia inspector. As always, thanks for your help!

Hi, I came across this on the .TO site and what really caught my eye was the quality of the textures and the details. Looked like a photo at first and I was quite surprised at the low cost. I don't know anything about this airport and would not really expect to fly into it, but I have to admit I am tempted. Do any of you have any of you have this or their other products?
