  1. Imagine saying 2024 looks cartoonish compared to 2020, when 2020 has 2D sprites for trees......
  2. We need to do that test with an airliner.
  3. "It will be the most advanced and detailed plane in MSFS, if not in all of flight simulation" -Matt Nishan Coming from the same guy who said the same thing about the default Garmin units and stood on business. Can't wait for November!
  4. I did think that as well to be honest but then again, the M600 seems to be very similar to the M500 he already released so maybe it doesn't require all of his attention and the wait for the Phenom won't be very long.
  5. Well Seb did talk about improved cloud turbulence coming to SU5 during the stream
  6. Proper weather radar implementation too, which is huge! Sure, I was a little disappointed that they didn't have anything concrete to say about cloud rendering but I'm not going to have a fatalistic attitude about it. As I said earlier, I've seen many people say we'd never get weather radar tilt, yet here we are.
  7. I've seen people say the same thing about weather radar tilt.
  8. You had me at "Weather" LET'S GOOOOO!
  9. Fixed an issue with visibility causing fog to no longer appear This just dropped in SU5 beta
  10. I'd love someone to explain how 2020 SU5 clouds were downgraded for the sake of Xbox.
  11. Well obviously not in this thread lol but he has been asked to chill before. As for the topic at hand, I'm definitely bothered by Asobo's current depiction of live weather to the point of frustration. I am a regular in one of the threads in the official forum about it. I've posted screenshots to show how ridiculous their transparent clouds are and I don't think they do it to save on perf btw. I can go into custom weather and set everything to the thickest setting and still get good performance. Even Seb is on record saying there's enough headroom to allow for less of the transparent BS. I think the main issue is with the live weather team who seem to think it looks great. One of the weather depiction questions that was answered during one of the Dev Q&As was also submitted by me. The reason I don't make as much noise as I used to is because Seb acknowledged the issues and said he would look at getting the code rewritten from the ground up to set things right. They're still getting bugs sorted so we just have to be patient. I don't want them to copy LR's implementation because while it looks nice, it is too low resolution for my taste. So they should chase reality and not the competition in this case IMO.
  12. Yeah, Ryan mentioned it but you do it like clockwork. I've seen other people ask you to give it a rest before.
  13. You can always count on MrBlits to Fly in and bring X-Plane up....
  14. He specifically mentioned weather radar and finally getting tilt and the other additions is a pretty big deal.
  15. Before saying stuff like that, you should probably go read the changelog of the latest SU5 beta build.....
