MSFS 2024 Land of the Not Quite Right
I don't think that's the problem. There are people on very modest streaming connections (~50Mbps) who've reported no issues with streamed rendering. From this issues you mention, it sounds like there is something amiss with your installation. It might be worth doing an uninstall-reinstall. With MSFS2024 this is no longer as bad as it sounds, as the installation is small and your prefernces ans settings should be restored from the cloud. Just make sure you have an empty Community folder, when loading for the first time, after a reinstall.

gb09f requesting assistance with MSFS2024 settings on ground
I'd recommend watching some set up videos on YouTube because there are so many parameters that affect performance.

For those who will miss the FSLTL injector....
I used (and loved) the 2020 version of this. With the 2024 version, I've spent hours and hours trying to get it working (at least 10 install attempts) and just do not get any traffic from it. I'm; Disabling the default models using "Corsten's One Click Disabler) Putting the GAMod folders into Community, as instructed Setting the AI OFFLINE and traffic settings in 2024 exactly as requested. Yet, I can go to any airport in the world, small, medium or large, and absolutely no traffic appears. There are a number of others in the comments on FS.TO who seem to have the same problem.

Aerosoft releases update for their A346
My quality issue is that the textures and modelling look dreadful. It's both, in equal measure, IMHO. But yes, that sidestick is really poor. If that's how you measure accuracy, then it's no surprise you don't see the issue! It's fat and sausagey in the AS A346 and just doesn't resemble the dimensions of the real Airbus sidestick. In the Fenix it's perfect. Even the default Ini A330 is pretty good. The AS A346 sidestick looks like it's dimensions were drawn in MS PAINT by an 8 year old.

Update the 2020 TBM 930 to G3000 v2, anyone?
Thanks very much @Bert Pieke

Visuals 7/10, physics ?/10: the wake turbulence problem
BATC clears you for take off quite alarmingly close after the last aircraft 😄 So, I'm never very far behind them. I wasn't referring to one particular experience. I've made dozens of departures in light GA behind airliners and have never experienced a wake turbulance effect. I do have the standard turbulance set to LOW in the sim though, so maybe the wake turbulance effect is linked to that.
- What is this - took over screen and cannot kill it

For those who will miss the FSLTL injector....
Can anyone using default real AI traffic confirm whether small GA aircraft are provided too? Each time I've tried it, I've never seen GA traffic - just airliners. I'm going to try an experiment this evening, where I'll try using Corsten's Content Disabler, to remove all of the default airliner AI, to see if I can get 2024 to inject only the sim's default GA models (which think are pretty good).

Aerosoft releases update for their A346
All things considered, I remain hugely disappointed with this addon. Each time, I really try to like it but there are always so many issues and 'non-optimal' things with it on every flight. I was a huge ToLiss fan in my XP days but all of the areas of contribution by Aerosoft are just so weak. I told myself I could live with the awful texture quality in the cockpit, if the experience overall was good. But it's not. The single only thing I like about this plane is the flight handling characteristics (hand flying). I deleted it last night and - until it gets a very significant update - will stick with the Ini A340, when I need to scratch a 4-holer itch. Considering the price of this, I find it the biggest overall disappointment, since moving to 2024.

But you don't have the same system or configuration as @Purr, so how does the fact that you don't need to worry about performance, help him, if he's not seeing acceptable performance? You probably "don't care about frame rates" because you have good frame rates. Those on the borderline of acceptable smoothness and performance are clearly going to need to be looking at FPS, as part of their tuning of settings.

Visuals 7/10, physics ?/10: the wake turbulence problem
I've never noticed the wake turbulance effect either, @vbazillio Considering I mostly fly IFR-rated GA aircraft and have BATC AI running, it's a very regular occurance for me to take off in, for example, the Black Square Bonanza, after an A320 has just taken off. 😊 So I feel I should be experiencing the effect often, but have never noticed any wake effect - with various types of weather. I wonder if it is just the visual effect that is offered at this stage.

Update the 2020 TBM 930 to G3000 v2, anyone?
Do you need to have 2020 installed to manage this Bert? With me owning both 2020 and 2024, I was wondering if there was a way to get the 2024 library to install the 2020 TBM? I wouldn't go as far as reinstalling 2020 for this, but I too prefer th older TMB depiction and would love to try this, if there was a 'cheat' way to get the 2020 TBM 😎

User of both, compares SI and BATC
Skylink:- Not aware of other traffic. No injected AI traffic at all. Voices have no 'radio' effect and sound like they're standing right next to you. One off cost of 99 USD, for the ATC only. AI Copilot is another 49 USD AI Cabin Crew is another 59 USD. No thanks!

User of both, compares SI and BATC
SI must had come down a lot if it's $15 a month. The most I paid was $29.95 a month (on launch) and least I paid was $19.95 a month, at the point when I left it and moved to BATC.

PMDG 777 for MSFS 2024 fleet receives significant update.
Even perceived "bugs" will not receive updates, a certain amount of time after a platform has been replaced by a newer iteration. There is still a bug in the Carenado Commander 114 for Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight. The CDI is inverted. I am not expecting a "bug fix" any time soon. If you want further updates, bug fixes and future developments, you need to be on the latest iteration of a piece of software, at least as a general rule. Stick with 2020 if you're happy with all of the amazing addons that it has. Move to 2024 if you're looking for further improvements and updates. At least that's the logical approach.
