  1. I don't think that's the problem. There are people on very modest streaming connections (~50Mbps) who've reported no issues with streamed rendering. From this issues you mention, it sounds like there is something amiss with your installation. It might be worth doing an uninstall-reinstall. With MSFS2024 this is no longer as bad as it sounds, as the installation is small and your prefernces ans settings should be restored from the cloud. Just make sure you have an empty Community folder, when loading for the first time, after a reinstall.
  2. I'd recommend watching some set up videos on YouTube because there are so many parameters that affect performance.
  3. I used (and loved) the 2020 version of this. With the 2024 version, I've spent hours and hours trying to get it working (at least 10 install attempts) and just do not get any traffic from it. I'm; Disabling the default models using "Corsten's One Click Disabler) Putting the GAMod folders into Community, as instructed Setting the AI OFFLINE and traffic settings in 2024 exactly as requested. Yet, I can go to any airport in the world, small, medium or large, and absolutely no traffic appears. There are a number of others in the comments on FS.TO who seem to have the same problem.
  4. My quality issue is that the textures and modelling look dreadful. It's both, in equal measure, IMHO. But yes, that sidestick is really poor. If that's how you measure accuracy, then it's no surprise you don't see the issue! It's fat and sausagey in the AS A346 and just doesn't resemble the dimensions of the real Airbus sidestick. In the Fenix it's perfect. Even the default Ini A330 is pretty good. The AS A346 sidestick looks like it's dimensions were drawn in MS PAINT by an 8 year old.
  5. BATC clears you for take off quite alarmingly close after the last aircraft 😄 So, I'm never very far behind them. I wasn't referring to one particular experience. I've made dozens of departures in light GA behind airliners and have never experienced a wake turbulance effect. I do have the standard turbulance set to LOW in the sim though, so maybe the wake turbulance effect is linked to that.
  6. I'm on the beta team for Lossless Scaling, and that image is definitely nothing to do with LS! As @Keirtt said, it's the DLSS Enabler mod dialogue box.
  7. Can anyone using default real AI traffic confirm whether small GA aircraft are provided too? Each time I've tried it, I've never seen GA traffic - just airliners. I'm going to try an experiment this evening, where I'll try using Corsten's Content Disabler, to remove all of the default airliner AI, to see if I can get 2024 to inject only the sim's default GA models (which think are pretty good).
  8. All things considered, I remain hugely disappointed with this addon. Each time, I really try to like it but there are always so many issues and 'non-optimal' things with it on every flight. I was a huge ToLiss fan in my XP days but all of the areas of contribution by Aerosoft are just so weak. I told myself I could live with the awful texture quality in the cockpit, if the experience overall was good. But it's not. The single only thing I like about this plane is the flight handling characteristics (hand flying). I deleted it last night and - until it gets a very significant update - will stick with the Ini A340, when I need to scratch a 4-holer itch. Considering the price of this, I find it the biggest overall disappointment, since moving to 2024.
  9. But you don't have the same system or configuration as @Purr, so how does the fact that you don't need to worry about performance, help him, if he's not seeing acceptable performance? You probably "don't care about frame rates" because you have good frame rates. Those on the borderline of acceptable smoothness and performance are clearly going to need to be looking at FPS, as part of their tuning of settings.
  10. I've never noticed the wake turbulance effect either, @vbazillio Considering I mostly fly IFR-rated GA aircraft and have BATC AI running, it's a very regular occurance for me to take off in, for example, the Black Square Bonanza, after an A320 has just taken off. 😊 So I feel I should be experiencing the effect often, but have never noticed any wake effect - with various types of weather. I wonder if it is just the visual effect that is offered at this stage.
  11. Do you need to have 2020 installed to manage this Bert? With me owning both 2020 and 2024, I was wondering if there was a way to get the 2024 library to install the 2020 TBM? I wouldn't go as far as reinstalling 2020 for this, but I too prefer th older TMB depiction and would love to try this, if there was a 'cheat' way to get the 2020 TBM 😎
  12. Skylink:- Not aware of other traffic. No injected AI traffic at all. Voices have no 'radio' effect and sound like they're standing right next to you. One off cost of 99 USD, for the ATC only. AI Copilot is another 49 USD AI Cabin Crew is another 59 USD. No thanks!
  13. SI must had come down a lot if it's $15 a month. The most I paid was $29.95 a month (on launch) and least I paid was $19.95 a month, at the point when I left it and moved to BATC.
  14. Even perceived "bugs" will not receive updates, a certain amount of time after a platform has been replaced by a newer iteration. There is still a bug in the Carenado Commander 114 for Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight. The CDI is inverted. I am not expecting a "bug fix" any time soon. If you want further updates, bug fixes and future developments, you need to be on the latest iteration of a piece of software, at least as a general rule. Stick with 2020 if you're happy with all of the amazing addons that it has. Move to 2024 if you're looking for further improvements and updates. At least that's the logical approach.
  15. I personaly have no issue with anyone staying with an old version of a simulator. As long as they're not making silly demands, such as that developers continue making addons for the old platform that they've chosen to stay with, or expecting lifetime updates to addons for that old platform. There are even some 2020 users who are furious that some features - available only with 2024 - aren't getting "back-ported" into 2020 😄 The sim we each choose to use is of no concern to anyone - as long as we have credible expectations around the fact that, when people decide to stay with an old sim version, they're not going to get new addons or updates to products. PS.... about your connection speed; there are users here who have only a 50mbps internet connection, who say they get perfect streaming from MSFS2024. To put that into perspective, my connection is 6000mbps. MSFS2024 hasn't been designed to only work with first-world ultra high-speed broadband.
  16. I hate discord, and always try to avoid it at all costs .......... but......... it really wasn't "difficult to access", especially if you already have a Discord account. I mean, I clicked on a link on his website, which was the Discord invite, it immediately sent me to his Discord page, and I clicked on one link in the "Downloads" page (and there are only 2 pages). That was it - I had it on my drive. As I said, I utterly detest Discord, but I think some people use it so they can manage and control their downloads, to ensure that people are using the current version. Something like that. I guess there must be some reason why people use that devil-forsaken place! 😄
  17. Do you mean anywhere in the world? Or this one of those requests where people suggest anywhere, but they really mean just in the continental US? 😉
  18. I didn't even think the Simbrief Downloader was still a thing. It's been redundant since true Simbrief integration was built into almost everything. Even if you don't want to use the rest of the PMDG's EFB features, why wouldn't you just hit that one button in the EFB, to import the Simbrief flight plan, then get rid of the EFB ? Once your Simbrief ID is saved in the PMDG (which only needs to be done once), it is literally a case of pressing 1 button on the EFB, to have your FP loaded. I cannot understand why anyone would want to try using older methods to put the FP into a folder, etc.
  19. We tried to tell you 😄 Sim Federation are the lowest of the lowest.
  20. I share your opinion 👍 All I really want from AI traffic is a conceivable amount of traffic, in the sim with me. I'd use the default AI traffic, if it were possible to only get GA traffic, without airliners. Can't find a way of doing that yet.
  21. Correct link:- https://arantissim.com/msfs2024-beechcraft-bonanza-g36-mod/ As Farlis said, not too difficult to get to the G36 page, from the "Products" tab at the top. 😉
  22. All download links on Discord appear that way (they generate the "you are being sent to another site" warning). When I downloaded the file, the file itself (the place I was 'sent to') was Google Drive ...... pretty safe. Unless it's changed and it's hosted elsewhere now. It's a great mod but with a couple of annoyances (both sound-related); the ACCS sounds are just too loud and can't be adjusted, and, the same with the Oxygen sound. It's really loud when you turn the oxygen on, so you get fed up and end up turning it off, but then have the warning on the G1000 PFD, about oxygen being required. The mods to the G1000 are really impressive, but he's gotten a little over-excited / over-indulgent with his custom sounds, and set the levels way too high.
  23. They are beyond terrible. Their Cessna Corvalis had it's sounds aliased to the default King Air turbo prop sounds, on release. That tells you everything you need to know!
  24. Can one use RealTraffic without PSXT? On the RealTraffic website, there are two use scenarios, outlined for use with MSFS. The first example is where the RealTraffic is delivered into the sim by PSXT. Then there's a second use case, where the "RealTraffic App" delivers the traffic .... but the diagram is confusing because PSXT is still shown on it. I'd love some GA traffic in 2024. It's the single only thing I miss from SI. But I have no interest in using PSXT. Sadly Corsten's "GAMOD" doesn't work at all for me, and absolutely tanks performance (even while not showing any traffic!)
