  1. I did the same and increased to max 900. I also switch it over to manual on descent so it doesn't happen during landing...it seems to hold whatever whatever values were there in Live...
  2. I agree, all this talk of fancy radar capabilities and yet the sim still cannot generate the visual structure of a thunderstorm or any actual dire effects of flying in or near one.....
  3. Wow..this is cool! It just so happens I stumbled across this right before a flight in XP 12 which I have not done in a couple months. I was able to get the API for VisualCrossing but I was unable to get the one for OWM like Baber20 mentioned. I tried it out on a short 1 hour flight and it works well. I do notice that I get a fairly long pause in the sim when the Live option updates, about 7-8 seconds long. I switched it back to Manual which held the same values. I wonder if there is a way to adjust the time between updates maybe to lengthen out the pauses unless it is not supposed to do that...? Nice job! On another note, the clouds and lighting were just incredible...I am always amazed when I come back into XP12 for a some flights....
  4. Also interested in how you were able to use these, I do miss the Nvidia filters and would love to ditch ReShade...
  5. Yup...they really seem to think weather is perfectly fine in the sim since you can fully adjust how clouds look in 'Preset' mode. Live WX is good enough in their mind it seems. After being asked about the Thunderstorm depiction (lack thereof) and after a moment of 'crickets' from Seb, he brushed it off and talked about how good the turbulence model is. He also said Thunderstorms are fine in 'Preset' mode. I don't think we will see much weather/cloud improvement in Live WX for a long time if ever as nobody is acknowledging there's even a problem or the fact it needs to be improved. Looks like we are stuck with tiny cottonball clouds at FL 350 for the foreseeable future in Live WX mode!🫤
  6. I have noticed this on my past few flights but only after landing at destination. I do not get it on departure or in-flight. I have that same consistent stutter every couple seconds. It happens even with all 3rd party apps off (PSXT, ASFS, etc) and TLOD down as low as 50. It also happened at a mid-size default airport outside of PG area. This is on SU5 Beta in the FSW Lear 35....
  7. Was just going to post the same suggestion. Although I have not flown it in a while, the A-300 is a well-done aircraft. I can second the FSW Lear 35 as well although it may not be what OP is looking for. All this talk of classic airliners and I just treated myself (finally) to the JF RJ Pro. Have always sort of wanted it but never pulled the trigger. After figuring out the Lear, I now have another one to learn...
  8. Oh no..is this now a "feature"???
  9. Yup..I have it as well. It's one of the assistance features that seems to be broken and stuck 'on'....
  10. As others have mentioned, ditch the 50fps. Keep your monitor at 60hz, cap your frames at 30 and try the in-sim FSR 2x Frame Gen (pretty sure it works with 3080ti). I have been happy with this setup and also use AutoFps to help on the ground to help reduce the panning stutters.
  11. I am just finishing up a regional airport for 2024 that is in a PG area. There is an industrial complex adjacent to the airport and the PG looks pretty lousy when on the ground so I decided to exclude the PG in that entire area and just custom build all of the warehouse and business buildings. Even with PG turned off, the AI buildings looked bad as well so in my case, the only solution was to rebuild that entire area. So regardless of user having PG on or off, that entire area will look very good.
  12. Wow...really? I have the opposite issue which is the infinite visibility at all times in Live weather outside of snow/rain situations. The only time I have noticed this strange haze is in some of the presets, especially looking towards the sun but I rarely use them.
  13. It's the way the glass material is done on the model. What airport is this? I have noticed the behavior on several Ini Airports. It could also be the Environment Occluder that is used for interiors to prevent the rain and snow from showing up inside. They also tend to show these black areas when there is volumetric fog present at least in MSFS 2024...
  14. There is an LOD bug with exclusion polygons in MSFS 2024 so the lights will pop in and out around you....hopefully fixed in SU5 whenever that is announced....
