I write this because if I am very fortunate I can get the update running before I have to go out for supper (aaarrgghhhh!) 🤣 For those of you that can download fast and fly straight away please allay my fears about the helicopters and tell me it's brilliant.

Just curious if people flying the Fenix use FSrealistic or not and if so, what settings do you use that make it a bit more realistic. I'm torn because I feel a lot of the effects are over blown at times.. For example, I can have a very smooth landing but the effects make it look very firm. On the flip side, flying without FSrealistic through turbulence can feel/look smooth. Have any of you found a good mix of realism? Are there any profiles out there that you suggest? Thanks!

Whilst I have been guilty of one or more of these in the past (shamefully some more than once), it's always worth reminding of the basics again: 1. Rename your community folder; 2. Delete your rolling cache; 3. Following the update, download any updates from the store. Depending on whether you use the Store or Steam versions, you may need to reboot your system before the update becomes available. Wishing you all a good update process and hoping that you enjoy all of the new content. Only 6 hours to wait 🙂

I have just noticed a new release - EMB-312 Tucano (payware) on Flightsim.to. Has anyone tried it yet?

Since SU10, I’ve had ridiculous gusts on short final on every single approach, even when the winds are light and no gusts reported. They have, I’m glad to see, rectified the stupid gusts/windshear problems in the cruise, but has anyone else noticed this? 10 updates to the simulator and weather is still not simulated properly 🙄 why isn’t there an option to turn the gusts off?

I have a problem with planning route which is located in the southern part of Africa ( HCMM to FMMI ) A320 FMGC says that cannot upload flight plan generated by Simbrief. ( When i set up any route in Europe then everything is fine ). I have found such guidance but honestly i do not get what or how to do. INVALID F-PLN UPLINK Message When Importing From SimBrief (fenixsim.com) Can somebody explain to me how to use workaround and fly FENIX out of Europe?

hi community, with the new possibility to have more displays available (not only the front view), may we have 2 or more totally independant views e.g. from different positions on an airport (as alternative to the tower view) to use these as an ATC controller e.g. (one view for apron-1, and one for apron-2) ? thanks for any ideas.

Cera Sim – Mil Mi-17 P3D FSX First, Then MSFS Cera Simaircraft shared a new preview screenshot of their project Mil Mi-17, the Russian transport helicopter, for P3D and FSX. They also announced that it should be developed later for MSFS, when they can test the flight dynamics first. The incoming Service Update 11 for MSFS will bring support for helicopters and will open the doors for their arrival. Just below, this is the first development pic shared by the developers, uploaded just a few weeks ago.

My apologies if this has been covered already but there are so many posts now, it is difficult to find stuff. Does anyone know of a way to slow down the taxi speed of the Longtitude? I'm assuming it is hard coded into the 'air file' by ASOBO but just wondered if perhaps there was a number we could change somewhere. I give a small increase in thrust to start the aircraft moving and then reduce to idle but the N1% stays at 28 and the aircraft taxi speed increases to what I'm thinking is unrealistic. I'm not an engineer but is there a way to reduce that number and would it make a difference to taxi speed? Regards...Kenny.

Hi guys! For some reason, the lights are not displayed on the Prosim737 model in msfs, in the cockpit I turn on all the lights before takeoff, but they are not displayed on the model, in the Prosim application it shows that everything is working correctly, what could be the problem?

Seems like in modest cross winds or and turbulent air plane often sort of rock back and forth in what appears like a ricochet action. Is that what happens in the real world, especially the lighter the aircraft? I'm not a RW pilot so don't know but intuitively it seems if anything its significantly exaggerated from RW behaviors. For example the plane might slide to the left modestly, then it will hit a wall and slide back to the right, and this continues until maybe it burns out I'm not sure.

I have tried assigning one of my levers in Saitek Pro Quadrant to MSFS Option "Spoilers Axis (0 to 100%)" but have not had any success even though another lever (Z-Axis) works very well with the throttle. Has anyone been able to assign the X-Axis of the Saitek Pro Quadrant to the above MSFS spoilers option. The other spoiler-related question is that I don't see a function in the options for a keyboard assignment to extend and retract the spoilers INCREMENTALLY. I am aware of the keyboard assignment options for the full extension/retraction and arming of the spoilers. Any help on the above spoiler management questions would be appreciated.

I have just noticed an Xbox update in MS Store today (might have been yesterday)? Win11 has 4 updates as well if you arenot on auto update. Probably worth updating it today to avoid the rush tomorrow.

When I go to the Market Place. I select Airports. I filter using (Owned). If I select List, I get my airports showing that I own. If I select the Airport Map mode. I only get a Blurred view even if I scroll in and out. Nothing shows. It's if I'm looking down above the clouds at the world and can't make anything out. Any Idea of why this is happening? I've had GSX installed for a few days after giving it a second chance, its great apart from the annoying female voice shouting at me that boarding has started etc. The reason for this post is that I have a strange issue that only happens with GSX installed. The mouse cursor changes to an arrow symbol in multiple places in any flightdeck of any aircraft that I have and only happens at certain angles, (so when looking slightly right for example). I cannot figure out why this is happening, but one things for certain - GSX seems to be the cause as it doesn't happen when GSX is uninstalled. Here is an image to better describe the issue.
