All planes i have, C172 (analog) and others that have the stock GPS / Autopilot displays are blank. I have tried to turn up brightness with no luck. Any ideas?

I have problems with the glass displays on three planes - the CJ4 (with or without the WT mod), the Carenado CJ12, and the Kingair. The CJ4 PFD only shows part of the info required but is mostly black. The MFD is all black with the exception of a blue display across the top which says "Chart Main Index". The Kingair PFD is half black with some info. The MFD is also half black. The PC12 EADI is mostly black with some info. All had been ok previously - don't know what caused this. Just seems like these displays didn't fully develop on start up. Would appreciate any help. Using Steam. Jim

Hi I just purchased the Hjet but the PFD remains black on both sides. Curiously, if I click on the right button of my mouse it comes alive but disappears again when I release the button, Any suggestion ?

I would like to know, when entering the MCDU data and particularly for the Init A and Perf part, should I wait for the boarding to be completed?

Just started back with FS2020 and still rusty. My question relates to the PFD on the Garmin 1000. Am I right in saying that the display carries the Nav, Autopilot, Approach , and such in the bottom left quadrant, as I am seeing it on some displays and not on others. It appears on the MFD as a constant. Sorry for my ignorance. Hope someone can help Regards talkdown2

Hey I am downloading addon msfs (free aircfat) and install them in the community folder as described on YouTube . but Some planes work and some don't. I noticed that there are zip files of different sizes from 20mb to 300mb and more with a different folder structure. 1. How to make all planes work. 2. Can I combine (for example, adapt the cockpit of another aircraft to an aircraft that does not have a cockpit) I apologize for the quality of my English. Thanks

Just curious how and if turbulence and icing is modeled in MSFS... I was using FSrealistic but I heard it was conflicting with plane behavior in the Fenix and a few others so I shut it off. I also felt like the turbulence in FSrealistic was random and just for effect. I did a flight without it in windy conditions and the flight felt smooth. Just curious what the thoughts are there. Also, I flew out of fog/drizzle and below 10 degrees C and with the engine Anti Ice on, the Fenix said ice not detected. Thanks

Hello everyone I do hope someone is able to help and below is what has happened. I used MSFS yesterday finished and closed it . Then I shut down the computer Today i went to do a flight and the following is happening 1. Steam launches the programme 2. I get the ASOBO screen and then the Blackshark AI screen 3. Then Microsoft MSFS splash screen is showing saying do you want to start in safe or normal mode. I have tried both. 4. Then I get a black screen with a spinning white disc, music is playing but it does not move to the checking updates screen just sits there spinning. Hey, Started trying to fly the standard C208 that comes with MSFS last night. Whenever I start on the runway ready to fly, or whenever I start it up at the point where I turn the avionics switches on, it starts to beep, and does it continuously until I turn the avionics switches off. Not a morse code beep, more like I left the door open or I'm reversing in a car. Anyone encountered that before? I tried loads of stuff to fix it but no joy.

Does anyone know if in the next release Fenix's TCAS will pick up AI when using PSXT? I know they were doing things with TCAS but not sure if PSXT was included. Thanks!

What is the correct method to uninstall Bijan seasons? I want to give Rex a try and want to make sure Bijan is wiped off to avoid any conflicts. I didn't see an uninstall and wasn't sure if it was as simple as removing it from my community folder. Thanks!

Hi. I wonder if it is possible to create two profiles on one PC, where I am an administrator on the first one, I have e.g. SU10 installed, and on the second I create, install Steam, MSFS, several airports and airplanes, and test e.g. Beta 11? Is it feasible?

Hey everyone, I've been involved with building various paramotoring/paragliding simulators since 2009 (and flying IRL since 1998), and have recently re-entered the genre utilizing MSFS. Of course, the eye-candy is great in MSFS, especially for open cockpit and slow moving aircraft. I'm currently working on creating various flight models, and I'm always looking for input and feedback from others that have built or modified models and simulators. I'm somewhat ashamed to admit that I'm contemplating giving Bobby R. money for the (still underdeveloped) 737-800, to fill the gap in terms of having a long range biz jet option. In the course of doing due dilligence, I came across this video, which is basically an old-fashioned tutorial: clear, concise, no yelling, screaming, bling bling, and all the other useless stuff. Just straight to the point, all killer no filler. As for the 737-800 - I haven't made up my mind yet, so I'm getting all these emails urging me to "complete your purchase". We'll see....😁

Hello, guys, with all the enthusiasm in the world, this weekend I have changed my old AMD 5770 xt GPU for the monster of the moment, the Nvidia 4090. However, the disappointment could not be greater. I don't get adequate performance and I dare say it's almost worse than what I had with my old GPU. The tests that I have carried out are in factory airports such as KJFK, KBOS, KLAX, with heavy air traffic. And I can't get past 20 FPS. Stuttering is horrible, things I didn't have with my old GPU. When I remove the air traffic from the airports, I manage to get up to 30 FPS, but this doesn't make any sense. Seeing in the headlights the performance of other colleagu…

Hello all... With the latest update from a week ago, one of the fixes was saying that the cockpit was made brighter. For me, i don't see any change and almost feel as though it is darker. Is there a graphics setting in the sim or in my Nvidia settings that I should make sure i have enabled? When I look down to the thrust levers, it gets brighter, but looking straight ahead it gets much darker. I think that is a MSFS "feature" (that I hate..) but I thought the new update might have fixed that. Any thoughts? Thanks so much!
