I haven't flown the M20R in a while, but it's an awesome aircraft that I always find myself coming back to. Having been spoiled with some really excellent addon aircraft recently, I've been quite annoyed by a few remaining issues in the M20R (and literally all my other Carenado aircraft). since the infamous Idle cutoff bug was fixed I haven't seen much about the M20R. I thought I'd start a discussion to see if anyone else was still flying the Mooney, and maybe get some more people to report these issues to Carenado. Or who knows? Thanks to all those that pointed me in the right direction regarding getting the quadrant set up. It is working pretty well, but I find with the steps I was shown, manual thrust is pretty sensitive from idle to climb. I feel as though I just tap the lever and I get close to 50% N1. That is with the recommendations here https://kb.fenixsim.com/setup-tca-throttle. Does anyone have any suggestions to make it less sensitive? I realize there isn't that much space between idle and clb so i might be out of luck but thought i would ask. Thanks!

Hello friends, I use 3 monitors for my rig, one 49 inch main and two 29 inch left and right. when I use live streaming with the Nvidia GeForce Experience, I get this weird flashing. Klicking with the mouse on the left or right monitor the main monitor is flashing. The same flash if I klick back on the main monitor please any support should be appreciated

Hey guys, Now ive got the go ahead for my PC upgrade, im loathed to think of redoing all my various profile settings for my controllers... Is there a place where the .cfg is stored so i could just copy it over to the new install? I intend to keep my SSD with the sim installed on it (at least i hope i can transfer it over...is that possible?) to save a full reinstall.... For those that have upgraded the full monty, are there any tricks you have found to make the process easier? Thanks in advance! Doug

I fly for a VA that flies all over the world. Many times, I go into their schedule, and just input my aircraft, the A320, and it shows me hundreds and hundreds of flights in just about every country. Today I found a flight VTSS-WSSS. Now I had no earthly idea where this was , so I just put it into Simbrief, and found out it is from Thailand to Singapore. I have been simming for almost 4 decades and have never flown in either of these two countries. Fired up MSFS, and I was at a nice looking airport in Songkhla, Thailand. Now I am on my way to Singapore and already have my Star to runway 2L programmed in to the MCDU.. Another great day to fly somewhere in MSFS. 🙂

Where are the "Fuel Valve" switches i see in all the tutorials? Besides the Fuel Pump switches is only a black area. Can not start the engines like in this tutorial:

Hello, i have severe perfomance problems but ONLY in Denmark airspace. It does not matter if DX11 or 12 or which settings, i am getting 40+ at nearly every airport but while beeing in the air over Denmark airspace, fps dropping to 25-30 with MainThread beeing red and Manipulators going hugely up. I've never installed any addon or anything in Denmark, so i have no idea where this is coming from. When crossing from south to north frames dropping starts near of Hamburg. Does anyone have or had the same problem? I've done some research what Manipulators means but couldnt find any solution. Specs: i7-10700k on 4,8Ghz, 3080

Hi, since Sim Update 10 i noticed annoying "lines" or scratches in the cockpit of the default Cessna Caravan. The settings stayed the same i checked them. Before Sim Update 10 i also had scratches on the glass but they appeared much finer and realistic. Now they are big and actually visibly destort the view, much like icing almost (but im sure its not icing). Has anyone the same problem? I play on PC, 6700 XT and DX11

Some time ago I came across a recommendation that when installing MSFS in Win10, a Local Account instead of Microsoft Account should be used. My understanding is that as long as the account has Administrator privileges the account type should not make a difference. Is there any technical basis for the Local Account recommendation ? Thanks

Hello Captains, I would like to ask for your support for a latest issue I have, every time I load a flight, on the tarmac, at the Gate, very weird patches appear on the ground at each airport and I can not understand why. I use DX12 (Beta) DLSS Quality. At first everything looks normal but so suddenly the weird texture patches appears. aplease advise

I was running out of space on my 500GB dedicated Flightsim SSD so I decided to buy a 1TB SSD and clone the first drive over to it. The cloning went without issue and I swapped the new drive into place, added the unallocated space and changed the volume letter to match the original. The drive is seen by windows 11 and I can browse the files normally but when I launch MSFS I get the following message: Microsoft Flight Simulator can’t open because it is offline. The storage device might be missing or disconnected. Can anybody help?

Does anyone know when Asobo plan to implement full seasons in to MSFS? I read they have plans to do this but it was over 12 months ago. I am tempted to buy Accseasons by REX which appears to be a very good product, but am reluctant to spend money on a product that could end up being made redundant by updates to the base product, especially when I could use that money for an airport scenery instead - but overall MSFS is needing season transitions (or at least tree colour changes) which has become more apparent now we are heading into Autumn and the default MSFS imagery still has summer colours everywhere...

I saw this week that "Gibraltar Scenic Life for MSFS" by Samscene was released. From the images, it looks quite good but i am a little confused about the product when I saw this... "This is GA version which works with many general aviation aircrafts, except boeing. Airbus version please purchase in MSFS Marketplace" Any idea what this means? Have they provided GA parking rather than the heavies? What do I do if I want boeing aircraft as that does not seem to be available in any version? Theses nothing like explaining your product to your potential customers!!! 😄

Is there any way to make the bass shaker sound when there is turbulence in msfs? This used to work in P3D with simsound and Active Sky. Simsound works in msfs also, but does not register turbulence in msfs. Anyone knows how achieve this in msfs?

Since quite a while many object details only show up (pop in) when very very close to it. Most noticeable are missing wheels at ai planes, runway and taxiway boundary lights, windsocks and some other small airport objects. At least it would be nice to have an extra slider for this purpose. Current Terrain and Objects LOD settings don't have any influence on those objects. Since the last update, after some scenery or addon is installed, I set the departure and hit Fly the sim always freezes. I have to close it from Task Manager, after I delete the cache, then everything works fine till something new is installed or till l go the main menu and then try to hit Fly again. What could be the problem? Thanks.

When I try to save a custom view (alt + number) and the view is almost full screen on the monitor, when I go back in and hit the number to retrieve the view it's only like half screen. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem? Thanks

For me I allways had little stutters with my RTX3070 but now I only turned on Vsync --> fast in Nvida control panel. Vsync / Gsync off in game // DLSS balanced // DX12 And smooth as butter! Hope I can help somebody else with this!

Hi, has anyone else that has flown the CRJ have issue engaging the autopilot? Mine just immediately disengages. Im using a Honeycomb Bravo Throttle and a A320 Thrustmaster joystick. I do have the red button on the joystick to disengage autopilots and wonder if thats could be causing the issue

I had CTD:s with the dreaded message that my graphic device was not coping as many others have. It appeared first after SU10. I decided to shut off the HAGS or Hardware- accelerated GPU scheduling and I havent had a CTD since. Even when running my Geforce 1060 6 GB with Chrome and GIMP open with several files and tabs. So far it fixed it for me. Touch wood. Try it, it might fix it for you.
