I played around with this last week before it was updated, at it seemed to do what it's intended to do. However, I have no actual experience with a Kap140. I need to find a manual and read it. Creating custom options profiles in MSFS is a laborious process so it would be nice if they can be backed-up in case they must be recreated. Is it possible to backup ? Path/file name(s) of options ?

Hi, I have attached a screenshot link at the bottom showing an issue I am having at the moment. After long periods of flight I am noticing in TAA mode I am getting pixel either in the middle of the screen or at the top when I move my view. I have checked my GPU temps and they seem to be okay hovering around 60 degrees mark under load. When I switch to another A it goes away and then when I go back the issue appears again. If I exit my flight and restart another flight whilst staying in the sim the issue is still apparent however the only way to resolve it is to exit the sim and start again. I'm using the TDS Garmin 750, and the LNAV component works fine - although it took me a while to work out I needed to use it in HDG mode, not Nav mode, but I can't get it to follow the glide path down. I'm in GPS mode on the indicator below the RMI and also indicating GPS mode on the Garmin, the GPS APR mode on the indicator below the RMI is showing ARM, if I press the Approach mode on the autopilot is shows armed, and GP is shown in the autopilot annunciator on the panel, but the aircraft never descends on the glide path. VNAV is shown in green on the bottom left of the PFD, but the glidepath red flags don't clear. It must be something obvious I'm doing wrong -…

I only run MSFS after installing the latest Windows 10 updates. Has anyone noticed that these are installing every day? Just wondering because it takes a bit of time. sp

After watching tutorials, referring to the Black SQ Manuals, and using various checklists, I can successfully start the Analogue King Air (battery start), enter a flight plan, and take off. But then the avionics go dark. The avionic master is "ON", and other switches are per checklists. I cannot find any electrical faults, and there are no warnings indicated. Global Failures Rate is set to "No Failures". Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?

Near as I can tell the diff between hardware Gsync (true Gsync module present, not "compatible") and Ultimate is HDR. From reading various posts about HDR here I get the sense it's not an obvious winner in MSFS. The cost for Gsync Ultimate ranges from 40 to 100% more expensive than regular hardware Gsync w/o HDR. Tried for a couple of days to get RESHADE UWP to work. Tired the long route Via YouTube installing a bunch of stuff from different sources into various files with a desktop .bat file fo open FS2020 and so forth. Finally gave up as I always got errors and the flight sim wouldn't accept it. So deleted those files that were added and wanted to move on.....now when I hit my flight sim icon on my desktop I can not open the sim at all. NOTHING> I must have deleted something that was in one of those files. Or maybe by redirecting, via the .bat file that may have screwed something up. I have the Store Version and tried going into there and I cant seem to locate anything …

Hey guys/gals, I always stayed away from purchasing a Buttkicker because I did not want wires going from my chair to my PC. Simple reasoning but I'm sure anyone can understand my peeve. Once I realized they came out with a smaller sized unit ( Gamer plus ) I thought why not attach it to my flight stand pro? When flying the Fenix A320 on autopilot with a strong cross wind, the plane points into the cross wind and 'crabs' along. Is it the ailerons or the rudder that the autopilot uses to achieve this? - and which should I use if I disconnected the autopilot and flew manually?

Hi guys, This is something I haven't been able to find the answer to. How do I pre-select a hold speed? The aircraft is always yelling at me to set hold speeds. Example: Currently en route to KBOS, got the JFUND2 arrival loaded, and I've set up a hold at JFUND. I'd like to set speed 230 and FL200 for the hold - do I select this next to the JFUND waypoint?

Well, i thought i open a new topic to hopefully get some help and not hijack other topics.. Problem: Got a new rig. Specs are 13900KF, Gforce 4090 MSI, 32 Gbyte DDR5 Ram and Corsait Water Cooling as well as a Asus Strix Z690-F Mainboard. I completley installed it from scratch, also MSFS but what i experience is that everytime i try to lauch MSFS it comes to the synchronizing Data screen, and it crashes as soon as it enters the "fullscreen" mode.. Not possible to start it anymore until i do this "hard" reset of MSFS. So not the normal reset option bt the one where you have to select the packages folder and do your itims in the ingame config. Does anyone know where I can find additional detailed DEM maps of the World Update locations? I found this one awesome map of the US showing very detailed DEM quality locations: b281b1f6bb4f952325faec83c16286d78c3e8040.jpeg (2560×1046) (flightsimulator.com) But we need to know this sort of detail for all of the World Updates. It t'would be especially good for the new Canada update as it’s a huge area with lots of mountains. Where in Canada has the best DEM? A map like this would be perfect. Where in MSFS 2020 do you control the scroll speed? I've tried everything including changing it in my mouse settings on the computer but it still doesn't change it in MSFS 2020. It's way to slow, didn't use to be like that. I don't know if I've changed a setting or what but I need to get it back. Oh by the way, I'm using a Logitech G502 Hero. Thanks guys.

I ran Intel stuff for many years until my son turned me on to the 5900x which I am currently running. Seems my previous Intel builds always required overclocking and generated too much heat and fan noise. Not so with the 5900x which runs MSFS straight out of the box cool and quiet - no muss no fuss. Note, I''m not talking about AMD GPUs which have suffered due to bad drivers in the past but things may be changing there also. Is there an AMD system coming for Intel users? Beyond that the XBOX is AMD so won't that suggest going AMD? Finally, FSX always prefered INTEL but that may no longer be the case with MSFS. sp
