Dynamic should never or rarely activate. If your rig can't maintain 30fps it needs to be set to 20 or 10 and it will only act when you hit those fps. In my case with a 5060ti and AMD 5900x I can cruise along at 45fps. So if I set dynamic trigger to the default 60 it will be blurries and poor IQ all day long. That is why dynamic gets a bad rap. IOW baseline your system first and then find the worst-case scenario like landing at KSFO with loads of traffic. Set Dynamic to those FPS. Could be 30 or less. My rig cruises at 45fps or better so I set Dynamic to 45. 95+% of the time Dynamic never activates. Most useful to eliminate stutters and landings at large airports but the value needs to be set to the worst-case scenario fps like 30 or below is best. Also when Dynamic kicks in at SFO I notice no image degradation. In fact I'm surprised how good everything looks. dd

Just phenomenal performance!
I use the nVidia audio driver all the time with no issues. dd

Screens can be objective, subjective, intuitive ecetera. May look great for one and garbage for another. Also I don't think screenies capture everything. dd

My point (and for my rig) is the opposite so go figure. 🫥 And finally, If you set the min fps trigger say to 30, Dynamic only kicks in when you really need it say on final to a large airport. dd

I don't see blurries- ever with 200 LOD. Also, I have no addons and nothing in community folder. My rig can handle 200 but after that the trouble like blurries, sttuers and texture pop start. Folks need to tune the sim to their rig. dd

The insim Dynamic Setting does nothing to the image quality other than reducing LOD per Seb. I've never experienced blurries when using it but have when not using it. Read Seedl's explanation how folks are not using it correctly. Also, I don't do external apps so the insim Dynamic Setting, when used correctly is the perfect solution. dd

Since Max Framerate is only available if Vsync is off then 2 things apply: 1) As noted your rig should be able to achieve it most of the time. My 5060ti can comfortably hit 45fps. In tough airports like KSFO then the Dynamic setting kicks in. 2) It should relate to your monitors refresh rate. In my case 180 / 45 = 4. 30 would usually work for many screens like 120 / 30 = 4. dd

For me the two settings are related. 😏 dd

Yes there is a Max and also a Min for the Dynamic setting. Click the little dropdown arrow. And remember the Max is before FG is applied. So 45 x 2X FG = 90 fps. dd

Alot depends on your screen so I have Digital Vibrance at 54% without HDR. Just a 1% change can be the difference. Also, I got my 32" LG curved gaming screen at Walmart for $150. dd

To further explain - my monitor rate is 180 so the maximum fps setting is 45 which gives me a lock at 90 (1/2 monitor rate) with 2x DLSS FPS. That's why I use 45 for my minimum Dynamic FPS. With this setup LOD 200 is always crisp and free of stutters even at say a large addon airport like KSFO. Without Dynamic on I can barely land there Also LOD of 400 or 600 is pointless for me because I can't tell the difference. These high settings also cause blurry, high altitude ground textures. 😎 dd
