GSX v.3.9.3 out
I agree, I routinely check FSDT Installer at least once a week, could care less if I miss an update. They sometimes seem push at least 2 a week anyway. I wouldn't notice any functionality changes in GSX. It just automatically runs and does it's thing.

MSFS Auto FPS App
I gotcha, sorry, I needlessly conflated the issue. I have been using 150 x 2 EXTRA and my TLOD Top Max is 300. Thanks again.

MSFS Auto FPS App
Obviously, with my little knowledge and true understanding of this essential app I noticed in the above example that the TLOD Base MIn of 50 x the EXTRA (x2) = 100. TLOD Top Max is 200. I thought it had to equal TLOD Top Max? Just a bit confused, following the previous version instructions 😉

MSFS Auto FPS App
Thanks for the fast reply! I will try running FPS Cap with your suggestions. With regard to the FPS decrease I did a little googling and was wondering if this could be a contributing factor as well: Frame Generation Inactivity: When MSFS loses "true" window focus (e.g., when interacting with menu overlays or using an external application), MSFS Frame Generation (FG) often shuts down, reducing FPS by half or more.

MSFS Auto FPS App
Hi, long time user, first time poster. Thanks for this essential very app. I recently upgraded my monitor to an LG 120Hz, 4K. I previously had an ancient Samsung 60Hz. For the App I use the FPS Sensitivity Mode with a Target of 60 (59 with prev. monitor), Checked Extra TLOD Base, TLOD Base of 100 @1000', TLOD Top of 300 @2000', Auto OLOD checked with a OLOD Base of 100 @ 2000', OLOD Top 20 @ 10000' , RTSS external is set at 60 (59 with prev. monitor). MSFS2024 settings are FG on x2, Dynamic Settings at 30. Do I need to have the In-game Dynamic Settings ON? Probably nothing to do with that but I notice the Sim value FPS goes down to around 40 when FG is Not Active, but back up to 60 when FG is Active. Out of curiosity, is this normal? I have never really noticed this until now.

Frame Gen+Triple Monitors in MSFS 2024?
Hey Ron, I just ordered the LG C5 42" OLED Monitor on Sale from Best Buy. I've been researching this monitor and it appears to be well regarded for MSFS2024. I had a 60Hz Samsung (non 4K or HDR) before and did use FG for a smooth, capped 59 FPS (MSI Afterburner). I also have an RTX 4070 Ti Super card. Just wondering about a Frame rate improvement? I guess I will have to perform some trial and error with my settings to find the sweet spot for me. Just depends on my setup I suppose. In any event I know I will see a vast improvement in visuals, can't wait.

270 fps on a lousy RTX 4090 - my new record
If you are happy with your 270FPS, good on you! I have a 60Hz Samsung Monitor and couldn't be more content with my setup. I have MSFS_AutoFPS pegged at 59 (to give me 1 FPS Headroom, that's right 1 FPS headroom 😉)! No complaints here.

Could somebody share some Tobii settings please (SU5 Beta)?
- Could somebody share some Tobii settings please (SU5 Beta)?
Oh I see, I am looking at that now: Previously the values for Head Tracking Sensitivity for Pitch and Yaw were combined, now they are standalone. I assume I would use the same value for both then. Or I could play around with the individual values, maybe it allows for a smoother transition in head movement. ...same with Head Tracking Sensitivity for Position: X, Y, Z whatever that is. Experimenting needed. Not sure what Head Tracking Limit for Position: X, Y, Z is either. Not sure what Camera Boost Ratio is. Maybe some sort of Zoom Factor.- Could somebody share some Tobii settings please (SU5 Beta)?
NP Rob, that news regarding SU5 does not sound promising regarding Tobii. Hopefully we are able to navigate around that when the next update arrives.- Could somebody share some Tobii settings please (SU5 Beta)?
These settings work for me (Not beta): https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/qt0i3rnf3egncbkyfiios/Screenshot-2026-03-29-131741.png?rlkey=obaqeqot5gjzilkc7wp8gppcf&st=nlaj9xkj&dl=0- Tobii Eye > TrackIR
TomCYYZ replied to RobJC's topic in Video Hardware: Monitors | Multi-Monitors | Video Cards | Drivers etcI disagree, I move my head left & right all the time and the eye tracker follows, maybe I've got a more flexible neck.- Do you prefer starting at the gates or on the flightline?
Cold & Dark at Gate using FSFO app for added realism. I let the FO prep the aircraft and run through the Pre-Flight Flows and & Tests, flicking all the switches, I setup the FMC or MCDU FP and PERF stuff and readback the FO's checklists. Then GSX Push. I usually give myself about 25 -30 mins for flight setup. I have produced my own checklists and could do this myself, but laziness has got the best of me, thus I use FSFO.- User of both, compares SI and BATC
I am an FSHud & Active Sky user. FSHud makes Runway use decisions based on Active Sky weather. At Pre-Flight Prep I get accurate Runway assignment based on the wind Information from Active Sky for both my Departure and Arrival Airports. If the winds (weather info) change en-route FSHud can and will change the Runway assignment at Destination as well. At times on Descent \ Approach if I do not double check my Arrival Runway I have had to scramble to setup for an active Runway change, which I don't mind. I also found this handy little tool https://runway.airportdb.io/ "Which Runway to Choose", You can use 2 providers either "Vatsim" or "Aviation Weather".- User of both, compares SI and BATC
I use FSHud with AIG Traffic & Active Sky and yes, it does support Historical Weather. The benefit it provides with AIG is that you do not need to use the AIG Traffic Controller, AIG handles all that perfectly on it's own as well as traffic separation on the ground and in the air. On descent FSHud seems true to Altitude constraints but at times does issue unusual vectoring to final. I usually ignore FSHud and keep to a STAR or vector myself (after all it's just a Sim). FSHud is constantly being updated and improved, I'm happy using it for my purpose though! - Could somebody share some Tobii settings please (SU5 Beta)?
