Tobii eye tracker doesn't work MSFS

Featured Replies

So I read some review and decided to invest in tobii. , MSFS seems understand that tobii is installed I see selection in control setting. However, when I go to fly head movement has no effect on camera position. I Crossed check with tobii app everything seems calibrated and works.

I tried to use F12 camera reset camera. I also tried turning on /off "track ir" option. Any idea what could be wrong?

P.S. I'm running in a full screen mod

There is also the enable/disable head tracking command in MFS (not sure if this is what you meant by turning on/off TrackIR), did you try that? I dont know the default key command.

I ran into a situation early on where I had to uninstall/reinstall the tobii experience software to get it working again. The symptom was that the red infrared lights on the tobii werent coming on.

If all 'cameras' are turned off in Windows settings, then I think Tobii will not work. Because I think it's based on 'cameras'.

Windows Settings, (Search window) type: camera, choose Turn Off Camera Access Systemwide, then make sure cameras are ON.

I have watched youtube tutorial and set enable/disable using custom key SHFT + /. What it does is "camera menu" (inside sim)  turning off and off Track IR. But it doesn't do anything. Tobii is lit and powered. I can go to tobii app and calibrate it or use "bubble" to follow my head movement. The problem is inside MSFS nothing happens

Thanks! I just check all cameras are "ON". Although technically speaking I don't have any camera!

That is a good question. I used to have it, but not anymore. So I can't check really

I have a Tobii tracker due to arrive tomorrow.  I have been warned to remove any traces of TrackIR / Opentrack from my system as they are known to interfere with the Tobii software and MSFS.

You should not be seeing track ir in your settings there.

Do you have opentrack or FacetrackNoIR installed?
