General Aviation vs Airliners
+100 These "Either-Or" types of questions really seem to miss the point of what flight simulation is all about. I'm the polar opposite of sd_flyer in that I have a whopping total of 6.5 hours of actual logged flight instruction for my entire life but have been simming since the early 1980's. In my virtual fantasy sim world, Stoopy is an In-Demand Highly Experienced Jack-Of-All Trades pilot of all things flyable, jetting around to faraway destinations in bizjets and airliners one day, then exploring each destination in depth the next via helicopters, bush planes, piston twins, military, ultralights, aerobatic birds etc. until the local wine and women have grown tired of his devilish good looks and handlebar mustache and it's time to move on... 😁

Very much appreciate the attention to detail and rapid efforts of the team on this one! 🤙

Arcata-Eureka (KACV) Early Preview
Thank you so much for this! You've created an absolute GEM for the community. Had a quick flight around and despite the real weather being a typical spring morning - adding to the realism for sure - it looks absolutely phenomenal, and a great place to stopover on flights up and down the coast. Lots of cool little details. It's gonna be a lot of fun stuffing the little PMDG 737-600 onto RWY32 there.... Definitely appreciate the accommodations as well!

iniBuilds L-1011: Update v1.0.1 released
Good gravy. I bought the thing on day one and due to RL events haven't even had time to light the engines up and get it off the ground, only played around with the INS stuff. And here ya come along a week later with a yuge update. Nice work!

'Study Level' Air Conditioning
This realism is not unique to Aerosoft/Toliss and Fenix. Just the other day I passed a fair amount of gas while sitting on the ramp in a cold & dark BlackSquare Baron and watched in awe as the cabin temp gauge slowly rose a couple of degrees.

iniBuilds L-1011: Out
And while you all are stewing on the above question, has anyone run into a situation where the speed setting was locked in place and could not be changed? Had this happen to me last night, but it could have been some erroneous keystroke that activated some mode, since I was setting up ChasePlane views and shortcuts etc. at the same time.

iniBuilds L-1011: Out
Anyone know if there's a hardware binding for the auto throttle speed setting? That little skinny knob there below the two buttons?

Yep. This whole thing here is clickbait. Shilling for views, likes and subscribes on AVSIM.

The Most Exciting Flight In The World
Good afternoon folks. Today's flight from Calgary, Alberta to Peoria IL in our sawed-off stubby little fourteen-dollar PMDG 737-600 is expected to take just a little over 3 hours. We'd like to welcome on board a group of insurance Actuaries who are travelling to their annual Risk Statistics symposium being held at the beautiful Holiday Inn Express in East Peoria. We should be getting underway as soon as the catering truck completes delivery of our special inflight meal, which for today will be vegetarian coleslaw and specially prepared mustard-free potato salad with extra mayonnaise. We kindly ask that passengers leave all window shades closed during the flight since the Captain has a headache and is sensitive to bright sunlight. He is also easily spooked by any unexpected sounds, so please refrain from playing music or watching movies on any personal mobile devices during the entire flight. Magazines have been provided in your seatback pocket for entertainment. Welcome to beautiful Peoria. While visiting we encourage you to visit the many interesting sites such as the baseball field, railroad yard or the hospital. Before departing the aircraft we ask that you please return your magazine to the seatback pocket in front of you. You are welcome to purchase your own magazine by visiting the news stand located within the main concourse.

Arcata-Eureka (KACV) Early Preview
Getting excited for this one. It's gonna be SO COOL - THANK YOU!!!!!! Really glad you're including the USCG station and hopefully there will be helipads as well as regular heli parking for those of us who like to start our helis from cold & dark. What's really slick is that Taog's Hangar has been working on a Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin including the USCG MH-65 variant, which is what they fly out of KACV, and it appears to be getting close to release. When I was in Eureka taking the photos in my post above, I also visited O33, Samoa Field and had the good fortune to spot a USCG MH-65 doing a training flight, several touch-n-goes, hover practice and even an autorotation. It's gonna be super bitchin' to fly that bird out of your airfield, go down to the Samoa peninsula and do the same thing!

Seconded! Even if I no longer live in that area of the world and selfishly want it to live up to my memories. Looking great!!

Pause at TOD not working
I'll try to help since we have almost the same first name. 😎 It does seem odd that you have this with more than one bird so I agree maybe the problem is procedural... How are your flight plans being developed, e.g. via Simbrief or what, and is TOD clearly indicated? Is TOD showing on the MFD flight plan view as you approach it? In the PMDG 737 you should get that cool green semicircle. Is there any possibility you are not at full correct cruise altitude to begin with, fr'instance by not having STD barometric pressure (29.92 for those of us in the United States of Cheeseburger) set when above FL180?
