  1. Started by Aviator_2024,

I always experienced micro stutters on take off and landing at any airport, including very FPS light non payware airports. After the SU2 Beta, the take off stutters went away BUT the landing micro stutters are awful. The FPS are very fluid and amazing but those micro stutters before touch down are horrible. I thought that would be fixed under VRAM Bug and Extreme LOD problems. Does anyone else have that problem? in FS 2020, there are NO Micro stutters on take off or landing.

Obviously the SDK is online but is there a file on my computer I can access to print this out and what folder is it in?

  3. As the title says everytime I get a pop up message about the "Resource usage exceeds GPU memory capacity...." the sim is automatically lowering virtually ALL my graphics settings or disabling some completely. Have a decent system, a 7800x3D, 64 Gb of DDR5 memory and a 3080ti. Appreciate the gpu only has 12 Gb vram but have many settings on Medium when using the Fenix A320. I do not use nVidia App so it is not optimising the sim and AutoFPS has "Auto Reduce Settings" disabled. Am I missing a setting to disable these changes in SU2 Beta as its very frustrating.

  6. Frame Generation was working perfectly but has vanished with the SU1 update, or maybe when Windows 11 Update did the big update on Tuesday. I think I have got everything specified correctly and the proper drivers and .dlls installed - but no frame gen. This is for my system running an i7-9700K and RTX 3060 Ti on Windows 11 24H2. When the sim is running I see DLSSv3 V310.2.1 (nvapp_overide) D3D12 NGX and Render Preset(k) in the information display nVidia 527.20 Driver nvngx_dlss.dll (310.2.1.0) nvngx_dlss.dll.dlsss (2/20/25) nvngx.dlssg.dll (310.2.0.0) are all in the folder with the FlightSimulator2024.exe Profile Inspector shows: Enable D…

  7. Started by Rusty Spanner,

I fly mostly from/to small rural strips in both 2020 and 2024. I can't find how to get rid of the unrealistic hi-viz clad ground crew that mill around. Is there not a way to turn them off?, or perhaps a mod for that function? Thanks, Rusty

  8. Started by Christopher Low,

Some time last year, PMDG released an update to the 737 that introduced the "white LNAV" notification on the FMA when on final approach (to signify LNAV available in the event of a go around). However, I have noticed that this seems to have vanished recently. I have the latest version 3.0.112 of the 737-600 installed. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it a glitch with my installation?

  9. Since the most recent driver update and the update to DLSS 4, the Nvidia overlay does not show FPS anymore. It says its N/A. It shows everything else. I'm wondering if something changed, or is there a way to make it show again? Lee

  10. 2024 Cessna 414 Trying to Bind rudder trim. Nothing I try works. No problem with elevator trim. Anybody have success.

  11. SU2 Beta My Single Engine Prop GA profile shows the Throttle is properly bound to the Bravo Throttle Quadrant. The response curve in the profile is working. When I click on Search for Input and move the throttle lever in Profile I see Throttle Axis pop up. The profile works perfectly with most single engine Premium Delux planes in 2024/Beta. But, the C172(all variants) and C152(all variants) the in plane throttle lever does not move when I move the Bravo lever. This has been a problem in Beta 2 but on prior days I could delete the profile binding and then rebind and the Cessna throttles would work again. Today (April 9) the Cessna throttle will not …

  12. FYI incase anyone missed it. Came quite as a surprise to me. Their MD-11 was nothing to write home about but this actually looks quite decent. https://secure.simmarket.com/sky-simulations-skysimulations-dc-9-msfs2420.phtml

So in my quest to follow F1 around the globe (and exploring incredible new routes like YMML-ZSPD) I am heading to the Middle East via Dubai as the only rendition I could find for Bahrain was by a developer I didn't know and I couldn't find any reviews. So I am following the real world EK319 routing which seems to be fairly consistent with some very strange routing which appears to be around some Mongol autonomous zones and staying well north of Nepal but my goodness the scenery is breathtaking... I will post some pics in the screenshot section but being able to look out the window and then pull up Google maps to research what/where you are flying over and seeing a near p…

I seem to get a CTD when trying to fly into the NYC area or load a flight (i have only tried out of LGA) from this area. I am using all 3 3rd party airports in the NYC area. Is there a way I can check to see what is causing the CTD so I can fix it? I have only also flown in the Fenix for this area. Thanks!

  15. Started by Mike T,

On descent in KATL today, I heard a call over the radio: "Ladies and gentlemen, we have reached our cruise altitude of 32000 feet...whoops, sorry, Atlanta Center, wrong button!" The pilot quickly quipped, "Atlanta Center, ignore that last call, pretend it didn't happen." Atlanta Center humorously retorted, "Sure, we, and the other 20 pilots on this frequency, will pretend it didn't happen!" Just WOW!!! That exchange made my day because it happens more times than we'd like to admit in the RW. We've heard pilots get on the PA and think they're talking to the center and vice versa. It happened once on my 5-hour flight, the first time I've heard it in 10 hours of flying …

  16. I had a little mod in 2020 to have the FD/AP switch move when I toggled the autopilot, using a button on my yoke.. and I could not get it to work in 2024. After several hours of changing the code, I realized that the aircraft has two panel options, and I was changing one, while selecting the other in the aircraft menu. The sequence of the livery options must have changed between the sims and I was now starting up in a different default. So, little lesson here.. 2024 can trick you in more ways than one 🫢 If you fly the Seminole, here is the mod. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/mubv1fnt4b0h5d5ityzfx/z-carenado-PA44-Seminole-fixes.zip?rlkey=kk65pulich2vs…

  17. I have many controls mapped to my trusty Thrustmaster joystick, but can't figure out the following in 2024 and would appreciate any guidance? - How do I set things up in 2024 so that the hat switch SMOOTHLY pans around the external view or the internal cockpit the way it does in XP12 or MSFS 2020? - What command can I assign to my joystick to simply flip between "external view" and "basic cockpit view" the way the "Backspace" key on the keyboard currently seems to do? These two solutions would immediately and immensely improve my quality of life in 2024. 🙂 Thanks! Steve

  19. Sitting on ramp for five-minutes just looking around admiring the beautiful scenery, clouds, traffic. FPS was steady 60 (RTSS limit), GPU 80%, CPU 35% and VRAM was about 9.5GB out of 12. Empty Community folder Climbed out the C172 cockpit (Shift C) and started to walk. Frametime went from <10ms (GPU & CPU) to >100ms, GPU memory went to 11.95GB and FPS dropped to single digit. Nothing changed and all the scenery had been loaded (I assume) during the five-minutes I was sitting there looking around. TLOD @ 205 OLOD@200 Building and clouds @Ultra and everything else at High - no problems with those settings for five-minutes and then Unflyable!

I just got an MP update for KMRY BY BEAUTIFUL MODELS OF THE WORLD FOR $1.99. Recommended. The weather on the coast can be awesome. dd

  21. I wasn't aware that one of the patches introduced autosave feature. Today was day when I used it for the first time! My 2024 had a rare crash, right mid flight PHNL-KSEA (on Pilots Life app). So without existing PL2 I reloaded sim fired up 2024 and loaded A350 with engine running (including simbrief FP and loadsheet). Then I went to autosave feature, loaded the flight and "vuala" - I'm back flying mid way between Hawaii and Seattle! Very nice 🙂

  23. Recently got a new trim set, but I’ve noticed with the black square stuff, the rudder trim works in the wrong direction. The animation on the plane’s exterior looks correct for the direction of trim, but the plane will fly like it’s being trimmed in the wrong direction. Is there a simple way to change the behavior in the plane itself? And it appears to be all of their aircraft. And before anyone suggests “reverse axis” I can’t with this unit, which is already frustrating lol. Thanks

I may be coming around the corner a little late here. But wow the nxcub taildragger in msfs 2020 can literally use the 2 notch of flaps takeoff in this video. Forgot to mention with the following mod for msfs 2020-https://flightsim.to/file/66444/asobo-xcub-realism-mod Haven't tried it yet in msfs 2024. But that is purrity neat simulation in are simulators I must say. Happy Landings

  25. Just updated to the latest A350 version and performance is through the floor on 2020. It used to be better than the PMDG 777, but it's 10x worse. I'm now getting 14FPS at EGLL when I used to get 25-30. What's gone so horribly wrong?
