Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Do any SWS Pilatus PC-12 users know if MSFS2020 liveries work on the SWS PC-12 in MSFS 2024? Looking on Flightsim.To, I cannot find any MSFS 2024 specific liveries for the SWS PC-12.

Must get back and fly.

Just purchase it. Its good but: Noticed that many taxiway signs are missing like when going up 33L signs for F2 and F4 not there for the turnoff. Also the makings on runways are dull. Going to purchase Montreal. Side note: Waiting on taxiway for 24L, I have Live Traffic on and i was listening to liveatc.net(cyyz). When aircraft check in at the FAF, few minutes later I see an aircraft coming in for landing. I must of spent an hour just having fun like that.

Once upon a time there was light in the life, now there's just a sim in the dark. Nothing I can say, a total eclipse of the Sim. Once upon a time, they promised Better ATC, a Weather Radar, FSR3, Seasons. It all never came. They promised Sim Update 16. Now Cancelled! The whole FS2020 Roadmap Gone! and Replaced with a Cloud Streaming Game Roadmap! 😡 So real simmers are back in the dark FSX days, where no updates are coming. Unless you want to join Beta Testing for the cloud streaming Game! But I guess we can look forward to the day it comes to Playstation 5 and Switch 2 consoles 🥵

Well my sim does this horrible thing where is starts out of nowhere to stutter like crazy. I think u know what I'm talking about. For some people a switch from full screen and back fixes it, but for me nothing seems to work. I have tried everything but I just won't go away. Sometimes it happens, sometimes not. And when I press esc and I go into that animation where the camera flies around the plane, it's normal. No stuttering. I have no idea how to fix it. Any suggestions?

Has anyone tried the new Lossless? It seems more complicated but seems to work OK. I have just one puzzle: whereas the indicator used to say 20/60, that was, 20 fps set in RTSS and 60 output by lossless, it now says 60/180 for the same RTSS settings! Is that correct?

Hi, everybody, after hesitating a while I installed MSFS2024 and am really very happy with the new sim. I am just dealing with the 172 Skyhawk to learn the fundamentals - but hey, 2024 is so much more amazing than the old one (devine flight model!). There is one issue I cannot solve - although having watched loads of excellent YT videos - the thing with the Custom views which for me are indispensable especially in airliners. I use to put them (Cockpit, Overhead, Pedestal a.s.o) as buttons on my Streamdeck. I learned I have to make a new dublicate of the KEYBOARD GENERAL DEFAULT profile for every Airplane (Logic?) and define (my choice) "ALT + 1", "ALT + 2" …

I've started to define my controller profiles for helicopters in FS 2024, but I came accross a problem whose cause I wasn't able to figure out - making helicopter throttle axis work (twist grip). I use the Hotas module from an old broken X52 Pro for my Collective and throttle axes, assigning Collective to the HOTAS throttle lever and Throttle to one of the rotaries, but whenever I move that rotary it also acts on the Collective ??? Do any of you share this quirk? Can you properly set separate control axis for collective and twist grip throttle in the FS 2024 helis? Thanks !

I just started the sim a week ago and I'm only using the C152 until mastered. For some reason I cannot pick up any NDB signals; I have spent hours and I'm very frustrated. I watched a tutorial for LNM which I love, flew the exact pattern and frequencies for the NDBs, it worked for him but not me. I have tried many others and nada. It seems relatively simple, turn the lower right knob to ADF and set the frequency of the NDB. Am I missing something here? Or is this bugged to hell? Thanks!

I have had stutters with SU2 Beta , FG on with my RTX 4070ti super and a G Sync compatibel Monitor. The solution for me was terminating the variable refresh rate Setting in Windows settings/ Graphic settings. perhaps it helps somebody else! many greetings from Hamburg! Leo

I am on SU2 beta. recently I have run into situations where I could not ESCape or return to the previous, higher menu level. the only option was to quit MSFS 2024 via task manager, which unfortunately also cancelled an entry into the logbook 🤣 I never had this before, but now it takes sometimes unusually long even for the ESC /BACK button to appear in the lower left when I select a new aircraft. bug, feature, user error or what tf ? ( meaning what the failure)

When will 2020 and 2024 support the Multi Frame Gen?

Hello Gang and greetings. I've been following several threads where graphic settings are discussed. One thing I've noticed is that everyone raves about DLSS but I am finding out that DLSS on my rig is blurry whereas TAA is super sharp and makes the panels readable. I ask myself......what am I missing? Any suggestions on where to start? My specs are below in my sig. Thanks folks.

Hello Gang and greetings. I've been I've been experiencing a very annoying issue with MSFS2024 where my graphics settings are not saved. I basically have to re-select them every single time I launch the sim. Is this a known problem that hasn't been addressed by Asobo, or is this something that may be related to my specific install? Just relooked at the optimization video posted here yesterday and discovered the wide-open native frame rate went from 67FPS to 97FPS in my test scenario--and you will not see this unless you disable it, close MSFS then relaunch. That was such a remarkable finding I thought I'd best post it here for all to see. Cheers

After startup of fs2024, I select airport start point and fly. All goes well to end of flight, no issues. BUT, if I then select a different airport start point, it goes to the load screen for that flight but will not load. Spinning wheel only - forever! If I go out of sim and reload, all goes well again. Is it necessary to ALWAYS exit and reload sim for flight loading to work? Any thoughts?

Hi All, I currently use Beyond ATC with traffic injection which is fine. I am keen to give Say Intentions a go after seeing them in Holland last week. The bit that is bugging me is the lack of ground traffic injection at the moment. Has anyone got suggestions of how to use Say Intentions in MSFS2024 while having active ground traffic? Potentially through FSLTL? Does this work well or is it just better to use BATC? Thanks Matt

Just wondering if a touchscreen monitor can be used in MSFS 2024 to press the buttons and flip the switches in the cockpit of the plane. Would be more realistic than using the mouse.
