January 20, 20251 yr FYI incase anyone missed it. Came quite as a surprise to me. Their MD-11 was nothing to write home about but this actually looks quite decent. https://secure.simmarket.com/sky-simulations-skysimulations-dc-9-msfs2420.phtml Edited January 20, 20251 yr by Mets737 Jay | PPL ASEL | | Ryzen 7 7800x3D | MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming Trio 24Gb | ASUS X670E-E ROG Strix | 64GB G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5-6000 | x2 32' 4K | Windows 11
January 20, 20251 yr I personally liked it in FSX for the most part but it was not exactly highly rated by many. In FSX it contained the entire DC-9 Series 10-50 but this package is only the 10 and 30. No 40 or 50 Series. I will probably hold off until the series is complete!
January 20, 20251 yr Looks nice, but to me the asked price of almost US$50 is a bit high, considering the previous offering from this developer. Has anyone tried it already?. January 20, 20251 yr I know I've been saying I really want a DC-9, but really, some patients are meant to die on the operating table.

It was not perfect but did satisfy my DC-9 kicks and it was popular enough to get some good and rare repaints. The original package for FSX contained pretty much all models of the original DC-9 Series including freighter versions. This one is just a 10 and 30 and was instantly turned off by that. I hope the developer considers all variants I would buy them but not just a 10 and 30.
January 21, 20251 yr I bought the 2024 native version. It's ok but has problems. Most test don't work and cannot get apu to shut off. Sounds are not the best. Hopefully it gets better with some updates.

Hopefully it gets better with some updates. I noticed that the developers are "so nice" that offer a free upgrade for the FS2020 version, after you purchase the FS2024 version. I suspect they would want to charge another chunk of money for the -20, -40 and -50 variants 😆 Edited January 21, 20251 yr by edpatino Cheers, Ed MSFS2020 Steam // Rig: Corsair Graphite 760T Full Tower - ASUS MBoard Maximus XII Hero Z490 - CPU Intel i9-10900K - 64GB RAM - MSI RTX2080 Super 8GB - [1xNVMe M.2 1TB + 1xNVMe M.2 2TB (Samsung)] + [1xSSD 1TB + 1xSSD 2TB (Crucial)] + [1xSSD 1TB (Samsung)] + 1 HDD Seagate 2TB + 1 HDD Seagate External 4TB - Monitor LG 29UC97C UWHD Curved - PSU Corsair RM1000x // Thrustmaster FCS & MS XBOX Controllers
January 21, 20251 yr They seem to be offering an "upgrade" in both directions. This defies logic, as it's either an upgrade from 2020 to 2024, or a downgrade from 2024 to 2020. Either way, it's more money than I care to spend, even though I enjoyed hundreds of hours flying the Coolsky DC9 for FSX and later P3D. I did buy the excellent FSS Boeing 727, only to have it broken by the constantly changing and unpredictable MSFS 2024. If anyone knows how to get past this, please let me know: Edited January 21, 20251 yr by Reader
