  1. That mod is an utter game changer. I can't believe it's free, or that it isn't in the base game to start with. Completely transforms night flying. I wish the moon wasn't so bright also. You can make out fields and stuff while flying at midnight which is pretty crazy.
  2. Strange. I would say it's my internet, as I've moved temporarily, but the PG is absolutely fine and I'm getting 150mbps down. I'll take a look at the server suggestion, thank you.
  3. Hi all I am on fast, fiber internet, a 5090, running in 4K. I run MSFS locked at 30FPS with 3X Frame Gen, and not the dynamic settings, but custom, most things on high. I am struggling with absolutely dreadful terrain and have been for about a week now. I have used the latest beta, and the current build of MSFS 2024. / My photogrammetry streams in well. I don't get stuttering. My LOD is fixed at 200 which has always served me pretty well. However my terrain, especially in the near distance looks like utter mush and has been all week. Are others getting this? Increasing LOD to 300, no improvement. The areas covered by PG look crisp, sharp, and load in pretty quickly.
  4. Before I moved to the other competitor I found FShud to be a really solid performer. A bit on rails, but I didn't have half the issues that I had with BATC.
  5. Who is "they"? I fly with SayIntentions and despite the high cost, I never, ever get flown into a mountain.
  6. Is there any reason why photogrammetry should cause my rig to stutter on some days and not on others? Even getting GPU usage warnings. Flying Paris to Copenhagen. Smooth take off, stutter fest coming into Copenhagen, but fine once I turned it off. Have never had problems with it previously
  7. I've had heavy stutters and VRAM warnings at custom EIDW with PG on today, where I wouldn't normally get that.
  8. An absolute no. Surely if you want to see AI aircraft you enable AI traffic. If you don't want them moving then most providers provide separate sliders for ground traffic and aerial traffic. Else they just get in the way.
  9. But if we're still dealing with throttled terrain resolution based on MSFS's streaming capabilities through the cloud, is there really going to be much difference? I guess the aircraft and airports may look better.
  10. I feel the blurry mush of terrain distant mountains even at high LOD and 4K more disconcerting than the overall sharpness. The terrain resolution has clearly really been nerfed.
  11. You have to use the shambles default ATC, which is why I don't touch career mode.
  12. I say go for it. It's a complete gamechanger, with the caveat that it's not perfect at distance. I'm flying over central Asia at the moment and it's not covered in every dirt track being lit up like a christmas tree. Just lit up areas for towns and the odd freeway. It looks totally authentic. With AB's presets on Atmos I don't even notice anything disappearing in the distance. What I don't like is how night time isn't dark enough though. I can see all the snow and the contours of the mountains, even at midnight. That's nothing to do with your mod though. A great mod. hope it gets more traction. it's completely transforming my night flying. You're not even charging for it, and it's completely transformative.
  13. Yeah, really important this. Such a great mod. I'm amazed it's not getting raved about more.
  14. Yeah AB is the goated champion. Anything that stops us having to actually use the Atmos interface is a good thing. Save them, set them to autoload, and forget. There is always a tradeoff when you start tinkering with Atmos, and AB is the closest to real. I always like a bit more haze.
