Do we know if SU5 will finally get rid of those radioactive mushroom lights at airports? I honestly can’t understand what happened to the lighting from 2020 to 2024… they just had to copy and paste it. Yesterday I was looking at a strobe light and it looked as bad as in FSX/P3D — just a tiny white dot flashing with that horrible 4-point halo

Thanks a lot for the info, really appreciate it. That actually looks like a nice improvement over SU4. I’ll definitely try the FLYT Enhanced Runway Lights and also kiwikat’s DarkStreets addon. I’ve just switched from 2020 to 2024 and was quite surprised to see some lighting looking worse in certain situations. Yesterday I also noticed the strobe lights looked pretty unrealistic, almost like going back to FSX/P3D days. Looking forward to seeing what SU5 brings!

Thanks a lot for the info, really appreciate it. I’ll definitely give that addon a try. I’ve just moved from 2020 to 2024 and honestly I didn’t expect this aspect to feel worse. On my very first flight I actually had to turn off the landing lights because they were creating a sort of dense white fog in front of the aircraft… pretty surreal. Really hope Asobo revisits this at some point, as it breaks immersion quite a bit.

Hi, Night lights (runway, taxiway and city) look too large and unrealistic, with a strong glow/halo effect. Is this normal in MSFS 2024 or is there any fix, mod or setting to reduce the light size/bloom? Thanks.

Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with jetways in MSFS while using GSX. At some airports, the jetway connects automatically by itself, but when I request deboarding through GSX, the jetway immediately disconnects. The only way I can reconnect it is through the MSFS ATC window, but as soon as I close the ATC window, it disconnects again. I’m also experiencing something similar with pushback: it starts automatically on its own, I have to stop it via the MSFS ATC, and after a short time it starts again by itself. It feels like MSFS is constantly overriding GSX or triggering ground operations without any input from me. Has anyone experienced this or knows how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Hi all! Does anyone know why every time I try to board or deboard with GSX, the jetway keeps attaching and detaching by itself? It's driving me crazy, I've been trying for months and I can't find a solution. In P3D it was much easier and it never disconnected on its own. I've tried with the ini A350, the Fenix A320… nothing works. Thanks

Hi all, I already had the A320 installed and updated, but I have just purchased the A319 and A321. To my surprise, when updating, the installer shows the message “Scanning, checking for new versions” and never finishes, which prevents me from continuing. Do you all mean that after the latest MSFS 2024 update, performance on the same PC is actually better in 2024 than in 2020? Is it time to switch to 2024? I ask because I don’t have the most powerful PC, and I’d like to hear your experiences. Thanks

Hello everyone! I wanted to ask what you think about GSX compared to the default system in MSFS. I’m currently using GSX in MSFS 2020, but I feel like it’s much more unstable and works worse than it did in P3D, where it was simpler and worked much better. Do you think it’s better to stop using GSX and just use the default system in MSFS? Thanks all!

FsLabs HATES Wingflex

I also use both of them in MSFS and P3D. In terms of systems are almost same, and performance also. FsLabs SL in P3D is not as good as X in performance.
