After installing everything seems fine but I just can't see where one can calibrate the throttles. Tried via EFB and FMC but no joy. Anyone..?.Thanks

Trying to install the Horizon B787 per AirbusDriver 330's instructional video, but his menu looks different than mine. I don't have a "Community Folder on the left nor do I see the Horizon AC. Had another long flight today and no crashes or strange behavior. I am happy that Asobo are getting things sorted out, but it has been a rough journey. It is easy to say that it's a beta, so there will be bugs, but MSFS 2024 wasn't released as a beta. The problem that I have with something this bug ridden at launch is it really messes up the learning process. Because when something goes wrong, I am not completely sure if I did something wrong or it was a bug? At some point I just start assuming it is a bug, but that isn't great either. It could just be me. How do I know for sure? In my old age, maybe I am just expecting a lot more than Asobo can deliver. My other primary …

I am going from a 3080 to a 5070TI. Does anyone know of a guide on how to configure a 5070TI using the nvidia control panel and the nVidia app? Its very confusing and I understand the relationship between the 2 being you can adjust things like Power etc in both. But then there are new setting in the nVidia app like the DLSS override settings. I mainly use TAA in the past because of ghosting. I may be making harder than it is.

OK. I'm all set up but am using my old Pro Pedals while I await the return of the Winwing rudder pedals. I have X-Plane 12 up and running and am looking to get MSFS 2024 and have come to the Steam or MS Store decision. I've read some threads, most of which were older when 2024 was new and crowded. So, which is the way to go and what are the pros and cons of each? Thanks.

If you enable the 2020 Baron in 2024, you may run into the same problem that I just did. The livery that is presented is the Kenmore livery, but guess what, that livery is not loaded when you select it. I got a cockpit with no visible airplane.. At first I thought that the 2020 Baron was not really available, but it turned out to be just that one livery. So, knowing that, I tried two options both of which worked. Easiest, is to choose another livery and verify that it shows up. Second option is to copy the Kenmore livery from your 2020 Official\OneStore folder and copy it to the 2024 Official2020\OneStore folder and then it works. 🙂

Well, I tried it today, and I stumped against: 1) Not being able to get the engine gauges on the center EFD, just the Map view 😕 ??? 2) Can't get the airspeed to read in the PFD or to get a wind vector in the ND; Whazzup ?

Since the last Nvidia Drivers update when using the RTSS front edge FPS limit the latency and stutters have been horrible. If I roll back to the latest drivers not including DLSS4 it works again but it seems the latest DLSS4 breaks the front edge FPS limiter in RTSS. This is only happening in MSFS2024 but on MSFS2020 everything is ok. Is there anyone experiencing the same? Have you found another solution to keep using the latest drivers?

Hi, does anyone know how to move the airplane in the quickedit pushback for MSFS 2020? Sometimes it moves the camera and not the plane when I rotate it, I need to know how to move the plane onto the taxiway? Thank you.

Hello Gang! Great we now have enhanced PG Cities but has anybody noticed that night lighting on these new PG buildings is horrible? Dallas at night is a disaster - Reunion Arena doesn't even light up at night. I think it was a missed oppty.

Hi Everytime I start a flight at kjfk my sim crashes. I have unistalled/re installed ,even with zero add ons. Does anybody else suffer this-any solution/suggestions please.

This event has only happened (to me) in the past 24-48 hrs (during which there's was a MSFS update last evening when I entered the sim). My FPS 'test' is the PMDG 737-800 on 27R at LHR, clear skies, no AI traffic etc in Full Screen and with my 4080 Super I get around 85 fps. At my home airport in the Cessna 172 this goes up to around 125 fps. Since yesterday evening, and I've not touched any graphics settings at all, in Full Screen no matter where I go or in what, I'm getting locked at 75 fps at LHR and ditto at home airport. However, if I go to Windowed mode the higher frame rates as described are restored. Has anyone else experienced this and if so…

Being the OP of a recent thread questioning the viability of 2024 at this time, I can truly say wow. Just installed 2024 yesterday and only had a couple of hours to spend with it. The graphics/visuals are outstanding for GA, probably all I'll ever do. Amazing how much quality freeware there is for 2024. Big thanks to Bert for pointing me in the right direction. Preface: I’ve been flying simulated Boeings for over 20 or so years. I understand the need for TO Trim to be properly set, both to rotate and to maintain climb pitch until such time the Autopilot is engaged and automation manages the trim. Virtually no problems in any plane I fly anytime I fly…except the Asobo MAX. Let me explain. When setting up the FMS for the takeoff one sets the Flaps, the Vspeeds and after clicking the CG lsk a trim value is offered. Any other plane if the suggested trim is say, “5.5”, setting that value almost always works. Aircraft pitches as expected and maintains pitch. I am slightly amazed that this topic does not get more attention. Do you all have no issues at all getting the MSFS2020 stuff into MSFS2024? Do you all simply link it via Addonslinker? I ask specifically because I want to get rid of MSFS2020 but not loose potentially compatible stuff. E.g. Usually I'm upgrading my GPU every 2nd generation. But this time I'm a bit hesitant, not only because of the prizes. My 3090 works still fine with MSFS 2020 but MSFS2024 could need some more GPU power which I currently circumvent by using Lossless Scaling. What would you suggest? Are there any experiences?

Not the end of the world by any means but frustrating to get a forced update with 1.50 Gigs of updates which appeared to be FS_base updates and the Release Notes are still 1.3.8.2 I think it was and the only things listed are A310, A320 and PC-6 updates... It would just be nice if they took the time to update the release notes when you click on "v" to display them in sim... So really no idea what was in the update which is frustrating.
