Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

What the heck is Microsoft thinking? When I launch MSFS 2024 a XBOX Game dialog sign in screen pops up wanting you to sign in to XBOX Game. Even if I click Sign In nothing happens! The progress bar stays on 0% and it just hangs. In my 25 + years of FS I have never seen anything like this!!!! I am running the Steam version.. PLEASE ADVISE! Thanks!

The IFLY 737 is not compatible for 2024, correct? If so, why is there a download on Navigraph for it?

Anyone with this issue appearing after being kicked-out of Beta SU2 .18 and rejoining after 3 attempts? Autogenerated trees have now around themselves a rectangular ugly frame that disappeared when getting closer to the trees. SU2 Beta .18. Further to my previous post on the correct method of entering a flightplan using the (PMS) GTN750 I have encountered a problem after adding an approach to a flight plan. Consider the following images taken before I added an approach the flight plan and PILOS is connected to the destination airport. In the second image I have added approach ILS 35 Y and then PILOS is not connected anywhere (circled in green). What did I do wrong or what is the fix? I searched a pilot's manual for the word discontinuity (the only term I could think of) and found nothing/ Thanks

Hello, does somebody having also the issues, that AIG Airplanes does not show the landing gear on landing aircrafts ? On Aircrafts spawning on ground the gears are visible. I deleted every AIG folder in the community folder an reinstall everything but nothing resolve this issue. Any ideas?

Hello, Its been a while that I have flown the B777 meaning the -300 in 2020. Now that I have got the -200 for 2024 yesturday, Im kind of re-learning how to. There are 2 things Im having little issues with One is how do I set the trim?? Im unable to set trim. It only move one spot and returns back. The other is that I can't get the Jetway (Jet Bridge) to Attach to Aircraft. I have click many time on the tablet but nothing and also on the FMC. Can someone help me on this. Any help is appreciated. Thanx you.

Anyone using the 9070 XT in MSFS? I am looking for what settings to use. Coming from nVidia its all greek to me, Adrenaline etc

If you didn't have rudder pedals, you could, in past versions of FS use auto-coordination to operaed the yoke and rudders simultaneously. Does MSFS have this as well? I'm unable to use my rudder pedals, at least for the time being, after having my right foot amputated two months ago. I lost my left foot in 2018. I hope to be getting a prosthetic for the right foot in a month or two. In the meantime it'll be difficult to operate the rudders via the keyboard. With prosthetics I'll be able to operate the rudders (but not the toe breaks)..

With all those patches, how good is this plane now in MSFS2020, comparing with PMDG 77X/F, for instance?

Hi, Is there a fix or work around for this issue? Taxiing along and everything looks fine... I change the view and everything looks fine... I go back into that cockpit and now look at the taxi line. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Mike

Very early 1940's. Getti introduced the Spartan Executive. A deluxe GA plane for the wealthy. It was way faster and flew much higher than the new Cessna's with which would compete. Neon tubing inside, full bar, loaded with deluxe comfort. (Getty bought the airplane company in order to make these).

Anyone know if Rex Atmos is down? When I go into the metar section of weather type KBLI metar comes up but it wont inject and it says it an improper metar. Never done this stuff before just started doing after some of the latest updates.

The basic voices themselves are good with mostly correct regional accents but I seem to get the same voice for the controller and AI aircraft and it doesn't seem to use the basic voice I selected for Auto Respond which to my ears sounded the same as male controllers. If I select a premium voice for the controllers then the voices work much better but I understood this thing worked well with basic voices. However more fundamentally, at least on arrival into NZWN rwy 16, after clearing you to an intermediate altitude on descent it can leave it very late to give further descent clearances and you end up too high so it vectors you all over the place in order for you to los…

Hi, I hope everyone this doing well. I recently purchased the GTNxi Pro version from TDS to fly it mostly with my flysimware learjet 35A. However, I have an odd issue, whenever I launch MSFS 2024, during the launch screen, always around 52% of loading the TDS GTNxi logo will pop up on screen and then everything will freeze and the only way to get out of it is to turn of the PC manually. I really don't know what is happening here. Does anyone know how to keep the back light on the 737 FMS? Its on when the sim boots up and then when you go to a runway/gate it turns off? Any ideas? X-plaane you can control with dimmers but not MSFS.

As an Amazon Prime member I was able to order two GPU's at near MSRP. I ordered the PowerColor Red Devil 9070XT @ $849 and the MSI Ventus 3X extreme overclock RTX 5080 @ $1398. I'm building a new rig around the Ryzen 98003XD and DDR5 6000Mhz CL30 RAM and a Firecuda 4TB NVME SSD. I'm trying to achieve 60FPS in 4K without FSR4 or DLSS. That is my preferred goal. Hopefully someone may have tried both the 9070XT and 5080 and has some performance experience. The videos I have seen on YT show near equal performance between AMD's latest and Nvidia's. The price difference between the two is a consideration.

Dear All, I have a copper broadband connection that gives me a download speed of just under 39 MB/s. May I ask if anyone is able to successfully run MSFS2024 with an internet connection that has this download speed or slower? Best regards, Peter
