Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hello everyone! I've had the MSFS2020 Premium De Luxe for a month, but I can't handle it. (Flying a small plane would be okay, but it's no use if you don't know how to operate the sim). Just one example: I'm laboriously searching for the lever for the parking brake, but it's covered by the control yoke. Only by chance did I see that you can remove the control yoke with one click. But nobody tells me that. Except youuuuuu !! Hi, I have several add-ons the fail to acknowledge msfs2024 is running. One of the being navigraph simlink. Does anyone know what might be the cause. Network and antivirus issues have been ruled out as have admin rights etc Graham

I've recently fallen in love with the piston duke. Anybody recommend any nice payware/freeware airports that I may have overlooked in the USA or carib?

Couldn't find anything in Search on this...I just recently reinstalled the SWS Okovango scenery through Orbx Central. The install goes fine and I can update Little Nav Map with the locations. But when I try to spawn in on any of the runway locations, FS2020 starts me in the air. When I finally got an actual start on the ground there's literally nothing - no custom objects, zilch. Even Maun (FBMN), which isn't part of the custom scenery, is nothing but dirt textures. This package used to work fine. Anyone else had this issue? I don't think there's a sim conflict since I don't have any other scenery installed that's anywhere near there.

I decided to start this thread primarily because of an issue that I have noticed at quite a few of my purchased addon airports (including the one that I have just tested this morning).... Misaligned runway centreline markings As a beta tester, alignment of runway markings and lighting is the first thing that I check whenever I am given a new airport to test. It is (IMO) the single most important aspect of an airport to get right, and yet I am constantly amazed at how many addon airports are affected by it. I simply do not understand how a set of markings that should be perfectly aligned with each other can look like they have been slapped down by a blind man…

About a week ago my ch yoke controller went crazy on me. Couldn't calibrate it or anything. All it did was turn to right and I would crash. Then I tried it today and still doing the samething. Is anyone else having this problem. 2020 is useless right now Happens on all planes. Any help would be great. PS: still have to shut 2020 down with task manager

I just discovered something. In the last few months I had switched from Wiindows 10 to Windows 11. Just prior to that I encountered one of those " everything in MS was reset" occurences. After loading Windows 11, I noticed that when I looked around with Track IR, I saw that the image had these microstutters, both in the cockpit and outside. At first I blamed windows 11, as I had not noticed this before. Then I checked everything on Track IR, and it seemed to be normal. Then I tried panning with the mouse to eliminate Track IR issues, and the same stuttering occured, so at that point I was convinced that this was an issue with Windows 11. ChasePlane looks good and I may still buy it, but it's disappointing that we still struggle to do things we were doing in FSX fifteen years ago. I think the //42 developers are missing a big opportunity here!

Is anyone else a bit annoyed that the PMS50 (GTN750) cannot be activated in 2020 and 2024 at the same time, on the same computer? I'm using both sims at the moment and expect to for a while (some stuff I want to fly isn't in 2024 yet). The only way to activate it on 2024 is to deactivate the license on 2020 and vice-versa, and the activation process is a bit of a pain. I suppose I could buy a second license, but since I expect to be fully on 2024 at some point soon-ish, that seems like an expensive way of doing it. Thoughts?

Hi, I'm a bit puzzled by the Justflight PA28 Turbo Arrow IV.... Disclaimer: I'm not flying single engine props that much, so it probably is user error 😉 Current I'm flying a 8000ft and I want to lean the engine/mixture. However the moment I lean the engine, the fuel flow increases ?!? Without leaning: ~ 12GPH, when leaned: ~ 15GPH Is that correct? I'm a bit puzzled. P.S. I'm talking about FS2020

Not able to ask questions yet on their discord channel and the only issue I'm having w/ this plane which I just bought 2d ago is an alert re the left flight stick needing null zone calibration or something along those lines. In the MCDU on the controls config page related to the sidestick there is no 'calibration' option but you can enter a % null or I guess dead zone. If I move my TM Pendulum Yoke in all directions fully while on that page the alert disappears, but then reappears when I relaunch the plane for a new flight. Ordered through ORBX for FS2020, saw there was a free upgrade for FS2024. Did a wonderful flight using SI+Traffic in the iniA300 from EDDP to LSGG, and the whole flight was completely smooth until touching down. It was literally unplayable. I'm curious if any one else has installed this scenery and experienced anything similar with this scenery in particular.

It looks like some panel change can be done but I want to confirm. Does the PMS50 work with the Learjet? Also, to what extent can changes be made to the main panel. For example, there's that rather ugly blank bezel on the lower most left side of the main panel. Can something be installed or cover up in that area?

Well, I was trying the same in the default CJ4, a flight from Sevilla to Lisboa (LEVL - LPPT) and used SimBrief to create the FPL, which gave me a Cruise FL 410, but when I use the EFB in MSFS 2024, with the CJ4 loaded at teh ramp, after in the World Map having properly set the departure and arrival airports, it sticks to FL 143 and there's simply no way I can change it 😕 The most I can do is accept it that way and then once I take off and am told to coordinate with Dep…
