Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I recently had to reinstall MSFS 2020. My favorite airplane is the Cessna Citation Longitude. I have noticed since I reinstalled the flight sim, that I no longer have the buttons on the bottom of the PFD, just a blank bar. All of the relevant Longitude programs in the Content Manager is installed. Am I missing something? I also have Garmin G3000 folders in the Community folders just can't figure out how to get the correct setup. Can someone point me in the right direction to get this fixed? Thanks

Su 2 1.4.18.0 Win 11 23H2 everything on NVMe My sim needs 7-seconds to move from one controller profile to the next. I have 14 profiles for my Honeycomb Bravo Quadrant. That means I spend over 50-seconds (on average - having to cycle thru 7 profiles to get the one I need) when I switch aircraft. I know there has been a lot of discussion about this here and on the official forum but it seems nothing is being done to resolve the issue. Two Questions: 1) Is there any work around or tricks to employ to move thru the various profiles more expeditiously? 2) Is there a way to put my profiles in a particular order so that similar planes, e.g. GA Jets, are …

I purchased a single T-6 from the Reno Expansion in the MP. After reviewing/downloading several liveries, it seems that I'm unable to change the livery of this particular T-6 (Six Cat) unless I purchase the entire expansion package. Could someone confirm or offer a workaround such that I might be able to use another livery for this AC? I've downloaded several, but they don't show up in the livery menu. Thank you in advance..

I bought the BMI KMEM from Orbx, but they have severed ties with that developer because of issues. Is there a way to get a good MEM into MSFS 2024? The version I have currently has a lot of pink textures and I am in and out of there quite a bit. TIA! C

Has anyone checked out the Zinertek Aircraft Lighting addon now in the MP? It is only $7.99, looks very good and affects AI lights also. Not sure if it works with the HJET yet. dd

Is there any further word on the night flying experience? So far the night flying experience is horrible. It looks nothing like in real life, not at all. I avoid flying at night because of how poorly it’s represented. Surely they can do better than they done in 2020…

To mount an FCU + EFIS L + EFIS R there are 6 brackets in the shipment boxes, 2 with the FCU package and 2 with each of the two EFIS. You can join these 3 units together and then put 1 bracket on each end of the assembled panels, at the far ends. This will not cause the panels to be front heavy and so they won't annoy you by tipping forward easily. But the only support will be at the 2 far ends and the assembled panel will be wider and take up more space. Wider because of the 2 brackets you added on the ends. But you can instead mount the brackets on the rear instead of the ends. There are 8 possible locations on the back of the assembled 3 panels to mount brack…

Wow what a surprise! Aerosoft has just released EDDL / DUS (Düsseldorf) airport for MSFS2024. There was no announcement before that they would release this airport. From the video it looks great, also has the TV tower and some bridges as I see. Nice! Anyone bought it already? MK is also making this airport I think. But Aerosoft Jo Erle is always good for quality.

I have tried several drivers, but I keep going back to ancient ones from about a year ago. All of the recent drivers, caused crashes in MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024, so I am stuck with a driver in the 500 series. I would really like to update to something more current, but I have found it impossible thus far. Does anybody have a recommendation for a good stable studio series driver that functions without issue? Something that was released this year would be truly wonderful. My last five flights has ctd after 30 min. I experience the same with FBWA320 and PMDG 737 800. I use Simbrief flightplan and FSHud ATC, but one of the flights was without ATC. I have the latest NVidia driver, and a week ago I updated my computer to 64GB RAM. The ctd starts with loss of all sound, and five sec later the sim crashes. I recently watched a youtube video on how a (MS2020) flight can be saved and when reloaded at another time the flight restarts at the point where the user saved it refer Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 - Save & Load Flights. Even In Mid-Flight I tried using this method but before starting the flight ie with engines running, flight plan loaded, trim set for takeoff etc and later loaded the saved flight plan only to find that although the aircraft was parked at the correct location, the engines weren't running, the flight plan was not loaded, the trim was not set etc. Can someone advise if I have maybe missed something. I've had this problem for quite some time and the latest patch hasn't fixed it, 8 times out of 10 the game won't shut down when I go back to desktop, I have to force it to shut down through Taskmanager, has anyone else this problem?

My entire world map and default and 3rd-party scenery is not loading properly in MSFS 2024 as ground textures and terrain and environment are missing. Hello, First of all, this topic is not intended to be flammable, so please abstain from harsh rhetoric. I own BATC (as well as FSHUD and PSXT/RT) and I'm pretty much satisfied with level of ATC in general. The area, which I'm not completely satisfied, is AI ATC ground control. In each case that involves arriving traffic crosses another runway (think EHAM, KDTW, KJFK with pair of 4/22, KEWR, KSFO, KLGA) traffic jams are common and I don't see much progress with each patch BATC issues. So my question is how SI handling ground flow? Better, the same, worse? Thank you

After installing new driver, I saw less smooth panning and reduced performance n the cockpit in FS2020. When I rolled back to the previous driver, everything is smooth again. Does anyone else have reduced FPS with the latest NVidia driver?

Is it just me or is the Fenix A321 super hard to fly with manual throttles using the Thrustmaster Airbus throttles with the throttle detents in? It is very hard to precisely manage speed manually. It is a little bit easier to fly manual throttles with the Inibuilds A320. This is in huge contrast to flying a Boeing with manual throttles, which is a pure joy.

Hi, I have been started again flying lately. However, still on MSFS 2020. Since my Navigraph subscription expired I use the LIDO charts that come with MSFS 2024 via planner.flightsimultor.com. What I noticed is that there are charts missing especially SID descriptions. What I also noticed is: AIRAC seems to be outdated. Has been Asobo also updated the AIRAC from time to time? Am I doing something wrong or doesn't LIDO deliver a complete chart set for MSFS?

The cloud shadows are very wasjed out and very faint. Any way to make them appear more present ?

I'm having an issue that when I start MSFS 2020 it starts minmised and clicking on it in the taskbar doesn't restore the program window, it flashed momentarily but I cannot access the window. I then have to crash the program to exit it, end the task so each time it's starting with the run in safe mode warning bo, still minimised with same issue so I can't click on it. I've tried rebooting the PC and this is still happening. Any suggestions as to how to fix this would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help Jon
