Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hi , i have the FCU+EFIS L+R and both the FMC 737 and the MCDU A320. I havent figured out a way to use the MCDU or FMC for the FMS for the MaddogX using the profile on fltsim.to. Also the backlight stays bright on both the FCU plus both FMC/MCDU. Funny thing is that when running the FCU profile only the display on the FMC737 shows the FMS MaddogX inputs but no buttons work. I have forgot how to merge a FCU profile with a FMC profile btw? I thought it was easy with the A350 but cant find the merge in Mobiflight. Anyone suceeded with the MaddogX? MSFS2020 or 24? Am having a problem with the IFly 737 max 8. When parked up or flying I get a 2 second stutter every minute and have now noticed that if th EFB is not in view it will show again. Switching off again only to appear again after a minute. I have cleared all caches, MSFS, Nvidia, reset nvidia control panel to default, nothing seems to help. Any idea how to solve this? I have the latest version 1.0.3.1 installed, latest nvidia driver 576.28. although I don't think it's a driver issue as it does interfere with the EFB panel. Any help appreciated. This is one of the reasons why MSFS 2024 takes flight simulation to the next level, especially closer to ground level. Hi all, as I nowhere get an answer on my question, I post it here: does anyone now how to "clean" the identification lines within aircraft selection? I usually fly tubeliners and always adjust registration, airline and callisgn accordingly. My problem: if I go VFR flying with a small GA plane, I want to have airline and callsign empty, only registration filled. This almost never works, as it cant be empty somehow as soon as it was filled once. Ending up with my small Cessna having the airline "CATHAY" and a callsign attributed, which instantly kills immersion. It always re-fills automatically what I did put last if I clean it. Any hints? What am I doing wrong here?

It was for MSFS2020.At this time, I couldn't find any information on PFC Cirrus II USB on MSFS2024. Maybe no one has tried it with MSFS2024. It is getting more clear every day, Msobo are not providing 2020 Sim updates (except for scenery) and they have convinced their Dev partners to do the same. This includes Inibuilds who have started making sceneries for 2024 only and stopped with 2020 scenery updates 😠 This is despicable, throwing the 2020 simmers under a Bus. They want to keep charging exorbitant prices for FS2024 and force simmers to buy. The Steam reviews are as worse as ever. 2020 simmers must fight back, and not buy 2024. I can't find how to overlay airways in the latest version of LNM. There used to be icons on one of the top bars marked V (Victor - low altitude) and J (Jet - high altitude). I have searched the online manual without success. Can someone please advise how to overlay them. Thanks

I've been wondering since it has been longer under developement and we only have seen screenshots of the -100. is there any Info avail, when the-400/800 will be releasing? The only aircraft I am looking forward to tbh. It's just weird to read so much about the -100 and nothing about the 400 or the 737 MAX. When it comes to the MAX I anyway tending to the ifly but just curious how they would compare.

I am trying to cleanup my control profiles now that I understand them to some degree. But, when I click on OK in response to do you really want to delete it - I get a memory exception and CTD Is this a known thing that I've not noticed because I just let my profiles prolificate?

Indications are that the iFly 737 Max8 for MSFS 2020 is a worthy, and some may opine, a likely better alternative or competition to PMDG's 737s. It looks like it has details not present in PMDG versions. For example, the nosewheel steering pin simulation, better HGS simulation. and meticulously modeled cabin (eg. dynamic lighting, toilet). Both are also currently priced the same as far as I know. Questions: 1. Does it have a moving map enroute that doesn't require a monthly subscription to Navigraph? 2. Okay, all kinds of problems trying to get a flight plan into the avionics system with the FS Reborn Sting in MSFS 2024. I DO have a paid Navigraph subscription. Here is what I have tried: - Ensure all Navigraph databases are up to date - Created a flightplan in Simbrief, Navigraph maps, and also the MSFS 2024 EFB, tried loading into Avionics both on main MSFS menu screen and also once flight has loaded. - Have tried creating a flightplan within the Navigraph toolbar window app and export right into aircraft avionics. -Have even tried using the Direct To feature on the avionics, and even that does not work. I was flying the V35B Bonanza a few days ago and discovered that it had a special ability, it could follow the blue course boxes enroute and all the way around the teardrop to the turn onto final. It did this without me sifting through any of the EFB flight planning possibilities which was a surprise to me, so I then attempted to replicate this result on another GNS 530 equipped plane, the basic C172, but without success. I had a good look through the EFB route planning facility but I couldn't find a path to match the boxes. No doubt those blue boxes define a formal flight path, but I can't see how to setup the GNS to follow them. Has anyone figured this out yet…

On or off for msfs2024? RTX3080 and 5800X3D Stuff I've been reading suggests that I might use less VRAM turning it off either in the BIOS or with Nvidia Inspector. Any thoughts or pearls of wisdom from anyone who may have explored this subject more deeply?

I already put in a ticket at //42 but was just wondering if anyone here has chaseplane working with trackir? As soon as I installed chaseplane my trackir no longer connects to the sim. I get no blue light, in the trackir software my head does move around.

The R66 is causing minor but persistent stutters in MSFS 2024. Is anyone experiencing the same? I asked in their discord but it seems no one has the same isssue. It's a pure joy in 2020 however.

Just recently every time I exit/close MSFS2020 using the menu system (return to main menu then return to desktop) MSFS disappears from the screen but its icon remains on the task bar and I find that MSFS2020 remains listed in the Task Manager as running and high on CPU usage. As such I cannot run MSFS again as I am advised it is still running. I have to manually close it in Task Manager. What is causing that and how do I fix it? Thanks
