  1. This training outfit use A2A's Comanche to demonstrate techniques in their engine management course Airplane Engine Operations. Everything works like the real engine, how to clean fouled plugs, etc.
  2. I think those are aircraft with IFR flight plans. I hope its possible to generate some random traffic flying VFR.
  3. That's very educational, thanks!
  4. I'm not sure if this is a typical simmer thing, but I've spent much of my sim time learning how to fly airliners under IFR, and now I'm working 'backwards' learning how to fly a GA aircraft under VFR. The great scenery and ground detail in 2024 and some excellent aircraft models from A2A and BS have increased the appeal of GA flying enormously, and hopefully BATC will add some convincing ATC to the mix.
  5. Leaving the wobbly PMDG turn issue aside, I saw a comment from a 737 pilot here that in reality it's not unusual with larger intercept angles for the 737 to 'hunt' the localiser, and that you should use LNAV to turn onto final as it can calculate the turn much better. Engage approach mode once you've rolled out. Works a treat in the sim!
  6. I lived in my house for over a year before someone told me I obviously wasn't superstitious. It never occured to me when I bought number 13. I guess A2A didn't think about the date.
  7. https://youtu.be/wV6GPsMlJo4?t=627 - in this video the AI have been set to use basic voices and the controllers to use premium so you can hear the difference. I always set everything to premium which costs $10 per 250,000 characters. I get the 750,000 pack which lasts me months, but this obviously depends on where and how often you fly.
  8. I think this is what MrBitsFlyer means... with a Tobii on SU4 (no Opentrack), when I look over my left shoulder then move my head to the right (as if to press my head against the window looking aft) the view in the sim moves my head to the left (reversed). Opentrack and TrackIR have an option to correct this.
  9. AI Texture Optimizer for MSFS and Prepar3D
  10. I bought ChasePlane over the weekend and one of the nicest features is that when you select a pre-defined view, e.g., the overhead panel or EICAS, Tobii is temporarily disabled until you return to the pilot view.
  11. For Tobii, enable the 'Relative translation' option in Opentrack. Hopefully the sim will include this option in the future.
  12. Did you mean you used FlyByWire to install FSLTL Base Models?
  13. I can't resist buying them! I've spent more on airports than aircraft and all the other add-ons put together...
  14. This link is a map of detailed small airports and gliderports in FS2024. Great for GA flying!
