115 votes, that is not much. I cannot understand why people don't care about such an issue.

  • Yes. Unfortunately, neither MSFS nor MSFS2024 gives us an acceptable visual (and functional) quality of ai traffic. In many aspects FSX/P3D injected ai traffic behaved much better than it does nowaday

  • Maybe you are mixing two things together here, guys. Initially, there was a bug with AIG models not showing the landing gear even if you were directly next to the AI plane with the camera/plane. This

Probably becaue they either don't visit that forum, or realised voting is pointless.

That particular thread has only been going since March, IIRC there was a bug report for this a couple of years ago but no idea how many "Votes" it got/has.

Look at the votes for the (again) totally borked snow coverage. While I understand that some do not use AI traffic, I have absolutely no understanding that obviously even less use live weather.

Immersion. That is surely what most hard core flight simmers are looking for. "As real as it gets", as Microsoft used to tell us. Flight simulators are amazingly realistic these days, but that is the point! When I am looking at a superbly rendered and textured Boeing 737 VC, interacting with an incredibly complex array of dials/switches/gauges/electronics/systems, and observing an almost perfect digital twin of Earth when I look out of the cockpit window, I could be forgiven for believing that I am actually there....

.....and then I see an AI plane hovering above the ground a short distance from me, with no undercarriage in sight

The little things matter more than Asobo (and if I am being brutally honest....some developers) seem to think.

And then it is cleared to takeoff as 'easy heavy' at Aberdeen 😉
