May 3, 20251 yr Immersion. That is surely what most hard core flight simmers are looking for. "As real as it gets", as Microsoft used to tell us. Flight simulators are amazingly realistic these days, but that is the point! When I am looking at a superbly rendered and textured Boeing 737 VC, interacting with an incredibly complex array of dials/switches/gauges/electronics/systems, and observing an almost perfect digital twin of Earth when I look out of the cockpit window, I could be forgiven for believing that I am actually there.... .....and then I see an AI plane hovering above the ground a short distance from me, with no undercarriage in sight The little things matter more than Asobo (and if I am being brutally honest....some developers) seem to think.
