They've shown incredible ignorance towards VR issues in the past, so it wouldn't suprise me in the slightest if this makes it to final release, we'll see.

Oh dear just read the VR click spots are still broken in the latest SU5 beta versions preventing users from removing chocks and covers on various aircraft, been an issue since February 🙄

That is incorrect, I and others are using it perfectly fine with MSFS2024.

MSFS has long since suffered from a controller conflict with the mouse in VR, as Asobo are essentially rubbish at coding for this most basic peripheral you have to add a Dead Zone to all your controller inputs then the mouse should be just fine. I say should as for some people that just hasn't worked, but give it a try.

yes everything is working as expected, I've noticed this before with the G1000 it doesn't show all and sometimes very few/none of the aircraft that are actually in the skies and it bugs me as to why that is.

I'm using FSLTL with the settings I posted earlier, I see plenty of aircraft in the skies and on the Flight Planner Map on the EFB (as well as in LNM). But the G1000 unit just shows two aircraft or none at all....why is it that's not showing all the aircraft?

Are those with Flight Plans? or are they randomly added and fly wherever they want? I think the latter is what I'm after if those GA exist at all in any mod!

Courtesy of a poster on Discord; Here’s my config that has worked well: MSFS 2024 Settings > General > Online > Traffic Type > Real-Time Online, MSFS 2024 Settings > General > Graphics > Global Rendering Quality > [Parked Aircraft Quantity is OFF, Parked Aircraft Variety is irrelevant, and the other two are as high as you prefer or your system can manage], FSLTL Toolbar Window > [the two “Parked” values should be as high as you prefer or your system can manage] I tried AIG but the local airfields are ghost towns, GAMOD is a bit hit 'n miss as I had a 747 wanting to take off from a grass strip...! I just want a nice blend of airliners and GA, so sticking with the above seems to work OK, not great but it's something and better than nothing.

I decided to download the lot (Global + GA) and it weighs in at 82gb, will have a play tomorrow. IIRC I just need the Traffic Controller running in the background and NOT the Manager, right? Edit: Oh and @Kaiii3 not yet received clearance for the AIG forums, signed up 24hours+ ago 🤙

Well when a new feature is released with next to no information on how it works exactly then yes, that'll happen. We had to figure it out for ourselves which led to confusion and misinformation which quickly spreads, same with a lot of other settings actually where it's guesswork. Thanks for the explanation though, appreciated for those that use it.

Yeah I'm well aware of what to do, it's the basis of having to continually check a discord channel for updates thereafter I'm on about, as said far far easier just to upload to flightsim.to

I like and use discord everyday, but to "hide" the download in a channel and have yet another channel in my list that I have to keep manually checking for updates, that's a royal pain in the backside.....just use flightsim.to where it's simple and you can see when there's an update ready to download 🤷‍♂️ I wanna try this plane as I like small GA, but it really is off putting to jump through albeit small hoops to use and stay in track of, extra unneeded faff IMO!

Downloading now and yeah remember that hell 😆 Watching the snooker so have gone for the Global Package as I never know where I'm flying until I load the Sim usually, hopefully be fully downloaded in a couple hours
