Hello, Just purchased the Fenix A320 and am setting up various cockpit, etc. views. Does the A320 come with pre-set wing views or do you need to utilize one or more of the custom camera 0-9 views? If there are pre-set views, can they be mapped to a joystick button? In researching this question I found this post from Aamir from 2022, however it must only pertain to MSFS 2020 as I cannot find the described views in MSFS 2024. Aamir's post - "Hey! We include 6 wingviews/cabin seat views by default, but MSFS orders the cameras in a pretty special way: camera dropdown > internal > instruments > scroll down to find all the included wing/cabin views." Seco…

I had a great time today flying the TriStar from KJFK to KIAD. I went live, showcasing the addon as well as an in depth analysis of TriStar Systems and Delta Flows. A couple of quirks along the way: The captains CDI display didn't work, so I flew from the F/O's seat - a first in my 10 years flightsim experience 😃😁 VOR LOC didn't always work as intended. Also, the APU refused the shut down after engine start. Other than that I really enjoyed the ride ! The full tutorial here in case anyone wants more TriStar knowledge. The EFB is really nice too 😉

I've run into an issue with MSFS 2020, presumably since the last update. Every time I start the sim I'm presented with the initialisation parameter screens. After completing them I can enter a flight. But after exiting and restarting, I am presented with the initialisation again. I uninstalled then reinstalled the sim via the Xbox app, but that made no difference. As part of the flow, I am given the option to load "Essential Packages". If I try to load them I am returned to the initialisation screen, eventually being presented with a blank update screen, at which point the process locks.

Hey fellow TriStar fans, I’ve been deep-diving into the new IniBuilds L-1011 for MSFS 2024 since release day, testing it thoroughly against the real Delta Airlines L-1011 Pilots Operating Manual (normal, abnormal & emergency sections). I’m sharing this as constructive feedback so the community knows exactly what to expect right now. This detailed list should help highlight areas that still need attention. If any of the IniBuilds team or beta testers see this and want screenshots, more context from the Delta POH, or a walk-through of the real procedures, feel free to reach out — I’d be happy to share everything I’ve found. Quick note: I had planned to st…

I’ve just come across a press release stating that support for MSFS 2020 will be discontinued on January 1 next year. Apparently, this not only means that there will be no more updates for MSFS 2020, but the servers will also be shut down. I personally migrated to MSFS 2024 a while ago, but I know that this will come as a huge blow to many simmers who are still on MSFS 2020 and who are using addons that have never been updated for MSFS 2024 and don’t work properly in the new sim. Here's the full text of the press release: Key Transition Details To ensure a smooth transition for the community, Microsoft has outlined the following timeline…

Hello everyone, This is my first post here on the AVSIM forums, although I have been a flight simulation enthusiast for over 30 years—dating back to the days of the Commodore 64 and Amiga. After three decades in this hobby, I decided to join the discussion today because I feel it's important to share my recent experience as a paying customer of Flight1/iFly. I am posting this here as a warning to the community and a call for transparency. As a simmer who supports developers by purchasing directly from their stores (bypassing marketplaces), I am appalled by the current state of iFly/Flight1 customer relations. Since June 2025, the iFly 737 MAX 8 for MSFS 202…

For some reason managed descent isn't working right for me in the Fenix A320. When I try to set managed descent (no white dot appears) all the waypoint altitudes in the MCDU change to the minimum altitude I have set. So if I am currently at FL370 and I change to FL22, all my waypoint altitudes change to FL22 as well. I have tried it 10 miles before TOD and at TOD, but regardless invoking managed descent trashes my flight plan, and then I have no altitude references to manually descend with. Anyone have this issue? If it does work for you, exactly what do I need to do to get managed descent to work?

I guess a question for the RW pilots here... in watching countless YT videos and real life videos, on takeoff in the A320 the pilot flying (at the start of the take off roll when advancing throttles to FLX) says something like MAN FLEX AUTOTHRUST SRS RUNWAY BLUE... and the pilot not flying responds with "check"... and off they go.. My question is, does it ever happen when the PNF does not say "check" (what does he say?) and what is the procedure after that? Ive not seen it in any video.. perhaps its a very rare occurrence? Thanks guys!

Regardless of whether it is for MSFS2020 or 2024, ( I am referring to MSFS2020. ) So for me it is Fenix A319,A320,A321 following from IFly MAX8 ( Hopefully, it will soon be possible to transfer the Siembrief data (weight and balance) to the EFB with a single click, rather than having to fill in the data manually, which is quite cumbersome. And make some different panel states that work after loading into the sim, like for example from PMDG on`s ) And the PMDG 777 all Variants is pretty good and OK ! And that's exactly how I would rank them: 1st place = Fenix 2nd place = IFly MAX8 3rd place = PMDG 777 What do you think ? ( Only the first 3, pl…

I have made a flight in simbrief from KHKY to KCT Departing rwy 24. In Simbrief (1st pic) Route looks fine. Take off turn left to my route But when I import into flight planner (2nd pic) It sows me having to do a 180 to get to my route. I do have the Lastest Navigraph data. Is this a msfs thing or a simbrief. Thanks for any help

Version 3.8.8 April 1st, 2026 GSX Pro NEW: Handler scripts: avirampExits property allows aircraft handlers to control which passenger exits use aviramp staircases on a per-exit basis. GSX (all versions) Change: Airport customization dialog: waypoint labels clarified to "Rear Stairs waypoints" (on jetway gates), "Passengers waypoints" (on non-jetway gates), "Static Jetway waypoints", and "Airport Walkers waypoints". GSX Pro Fix: Crash when aviramp is enabled in the airport profile but no aviramp stair model is installed. GSX now falls back to a normal staircase gracefully. GSX (all versions) Fix: Crash with MARS sub-positions on airports that have jetwa…

I guess I must be missing something, but for the life of me I can't seem to install DLSS 4.5 in MSFS2020. I have tried to download the file via DLSS swapper, but this only seems to have the latest file as being 310.6. I have now tried about four times following several videos which each suggest installing the file via the Nvidia App, it's a pretty easy process. But after checking to see what file is actually installed, it always shows up as being 310.6! Should I download DLSS 4.5 from somewhere and then install it via the swapper app... unsure where, because I can't find a 'standalone' file anywhere. Besides, I thought this was not a good idea with the latest DLSS files a…

From the GSX discord: Version 3.8.7 March 31th, 2026 GSX Pro NEW: New Aviramp Ramped staircase added. Must be enabled in the airport profile. GSX (all versions) NEW: Gate selection menu now hides positions that are too small for the current aircraft by default. A toggle entry allows showing or hiding unsuitable positions, similar to the existing airline code filter. GSX (all versions) NEW: Boarding and Deboarding can now use Jetways and Rear Stairs simultaneously, splitting passengers between the front jetway and rear door based on seat proximity. Enable via the "Simultaneous Jetway + Rear Stairs" option in the airport customization dialog. GSX (a…

Are any of you having low frame rate issues with the iFly B737 Max 8 in 2024? I loaded a flight at CYWG and initially the frame rates were fine. I was running Navigraph charts, Active Sky FS, Vpilot, SimAppPro, and Mobiflight, as I always do for every flight. As soon as I started taxing, the frame rates started dropping off and were down to about 15 FPS from the initial 58 by the time I reached the runway. I also ran Windows + G and saw that the CPU, GPU, Ram and Vram loads were all low. I'm using the NVIDIA 595.79 Studio Driver. I changed the graphics settings on the fly and tried several different combinations, but nothing really made any difference. I have very high-en…

What aspects of addon airports annoy you the most? These are mine.... Misalignment of runway markings (particularly the centreline) - I have seen this in far too many MSFS addon airports. Hopefully, me banging on about it whenever I can is helping to reduce the likelihood of it happening in the future. Proper beta testing would solve the vast majority of cases. As i have mentioned many times before, it is the very first thing that I check when I am beta testing UK2000 airports. It is that important to me. I do not want to see ruinway centreline markings looking like they have been painted by Michael Jackson rehearsing a dance routine. They should be perfectly stra…

Anybody using Mobiflight software to control the WINCTRL PFP 3N/PMDG 737-900/MSFS 2024? I have used WINCTRL SimAppPro exclusively, and according to SimAppPro release notes in the app ver 1.16.89.0 was the first version to support PFP 3N with PMDG 737-900 (current version is 1.16.91.0 beta). I have never successfully flown the -900 in 2024 with SimAppPro- every time I try to load a flight MSFS crashes with a popup that MSFS needs to close. Works perfectly with PMDG 737-800. I am considering trying MobiFlight and curious how difficult it is to setup and whether it's compatible with the -900?

Hi everyone, As we sit here refreshing the store page for the final March deadline, the real question isn't when the iniBuilds TriStar arrives, but how you intend to fly it. The L-1011 was the pinnacle of 70s automation, but it still demanded a "thinking" crew. So, which path are you taking? • The "Casual" Route: Auto-FE, INS shortcuts - the Auto Complete way. • The "Purist" Route: Manual FE panels, Triple-INS alignment, System Flows, and hand-flown DLC approaches. Personally, I’m going 100% Purist. I’ve spent the last few weeks deep in the books—not just for the "Cold & Dark" flows, but studying authentic Delta Airlines Normal and Abnorm…

I would love to hear that the Asobo C208B is great as I like that it’s native to the sim, and has a glass cockpit. I know the BlackSquare is going to crush the Asobo in systems fidelity. But what I’d really like to know is how these three fly… with some weight on board. My experience with the Asobo Caravan is that it’s almost too easy… too forgiving. Is that the general opinion or that’s accurate… because the real plane is easy and forgiving? Early reports seem to suggest the Kodiak is still quirky. I gave up on the 2020 version and I don’t really want to reward them for another quirky flight model. I haven’t read the whole BkackSquare thread, but it seems…

I am finally seeing a lot of simmers realizing they sit too low, and so many "default" views are wrong. Left over from 2d panel days. yea, i real life I am sitting too high to stare at the PFD or the guages, in flying and perfecting landings I have noticed at the center ball gizmo or slightlly above the balls work best for scanning runway environment etc.. and making the perfect flare and butter landings that I am used to over 20 years flying bizjets. Old guys love to sit low and often slam it on. When you're too low you hit hard. I used to fly with a 70+ year old captain and he sat so low.... like a little old lady from Pasedena .... ugh.

Didn’t see this get any visibility but this dev is coming out with a free update (version 1.2) for KDEN. Looks really good. He’s trying to get it out before the end of the year. Link below has details on the update. https://www.x-codrdesigns.com/post/kden-1-2-coming-soon-to-msfs

... to install FSLTL!? I've been a happy "customer" of the FBW A320 for years. In their installer, I've always seen the FSLTL base/injector option, but with my measly 3080 - i7-11700K, I always figured it would kill my frame rates. Last week I read somewhere you could just download the base models to populate parked planes at airports with the relevant local liveries. I haven't been impressed with the default options so I decided to give it a go. I was blown away. Actual models that look good in the right spot. I thought I'd see how "bad" the performance could be with the live traffic injector so I gave that a go. I can't believe I've waited this long to at least try…
