Did they just adjust what the fuel prediction shows us on the MCDU or did they actually adjust the fuel flow parameters within the aircraft configuration back to what it was prior?

No, he is correct. For the A359, I had M02 for cruise fuel bias in Simbrief. I’ve done a few hundred hours with that and fuel burn was within 1,000lbs for all length on f flights. After this update, fuel burn was much higher than predicted.

As long as the THS has been set correct, no need to engage AP right away. I typically hand fly this one to 10k, even out of places like EDDF and EGLL. I find she is easy to follow the FD guidance on. I am using a higher end flight stick and base from Virpil though.
