It's hard to explain how much I really love flying the HondaJet in 2024. It's the perfect plane for me. I love, especially the Garmin G-3000 navigation system and I love the plane's handling above all. It's so much fun to fire up the HJ anywhere in the world and easily set the Nav system to where you are, the waypoint you would like to pass over, and the destination. I'm probably so excited because I still have difficulty with nav systems in the Citations of the world, and and airliners. The HondaJet is my go to right now and I enjoy it every day. I bought a career add-on called Fly the Line - Short Haul Edition last night after watching a couple YT videos. The software really focuses on the pilot and is not focused on building up your own airline, unlocking planes, etc. like many do. You can fly pretty much anything in your hangar, and it rates your on-time and landing performance, among other factors. It is a one-time purchase, which is nice. The latest version allows you to start at KDEN, fly to KLAX, and then instead of the next leg being KLAX back to KDEN you can set an option to allow for flights that then bounce to other airports. Good morning. I'm sure this is a problem on my end and I must be doing something wrong or have a wrong setting somewhere but I'm having trouble figuring out what might be set wrong. I'm unable to get the Pause at TOD to work on the inibuilds A340, PMDG 737-800, etc. I choose the option either on the EFB or the FMC options page but the plane keeps flying upon reaching the TOD and the sim does not pause. I'd appreciate any thoughts or suggestions. Thank you. Eric

Sorry, I don't like it. For full disclosure, I am a casual user. I don't fly all the time, nor do I know anything about piloting. There are two problems that I see with the application. One, is that it is rather unpredictable in terms of where your ILS is going to be. You really can't set up for an approach until you are pretty close to your descent. Maybe the real world works in this way, but some idea as to where we are landing would be nice to have 100 km from where we are coming in. Today, I entered my imaginary time machine, channelled my inner FS2002 and decided to fly from Meigs to KORD. So far, so good. During the last quarter of a century, I'd like to think I've learnt a bit so decided to do things a bit more properly than I did, back in the day. I have been playing MSFS2020 on PC for many years which I purchased from the MS Store, yet today I am unable to run it due to an error. On the loading screen, it says "Do you own this game or app? I have clicked "Manage Subscription" and checked I own the game in the Xbox account. But it also says "A Game Pass Premium or Ultimate subscription is required to play this game". I dont have XBox game pass but this has never been a problem before. I have checked the online services and it is saying there are no issues with MSFS2020 today. This is very much a "I was today years old when I learned..." thing. Since moving to 2024 the sim loads much more quickly than 2020 did, just as advertised. What surprised me though was how long it was taking me to actually load a flight from the Free Flight screen. It was taking forever to load in the airport diagram to choose a start spot, and even longer afterwords to load in the plane and airport and be ready to fly. I mean, ridiculously, frustratingly long. The problem was my TLOD setting, which I had set at 300. I reduced this to an arbitrarily low value and suddenly the load performance I was expecting for the actual flight was there. I upgraded to v2024 SU4 and I'm really enjoying what it delivers, however I'm finding that some v2020 freeware and payware airports have double windsocks. Has someone figured out a way to create an exclusion file to eliminate this minor issue? I'm willing to learn since most creators that have abandoned these airports. Thanks!

So I saw that Chaseplane totally stopped working and didn't show up in the toolbar. Nor were any of the keyboard shortcuts working, nothing at all. It was like it didn't exist. I won't bore you with the 30 min of troubleshooting I did, but now I have narrowed it down to one root cause, and this is completely reproducible on my machine. When I enable Justflight FS Traffic Module, Chaseplane doesn't load at all. When I remove Justflight, all is back to normal. Can someone else try and confirm? I'm wondering if anyone else is having trouble installing their new upgraded Kodiak 100 Wheels for MSFS2024? And if so, is there a workaround? I am getting "Error opening file for writing" message for the file AlternatorShrouded_LOD0.gltf, and many others - resulting in having to abort the installation. The installer downloaded normally and was extracted in the normal way, and commences the installation process as expected, but hangs with this message about one quarter of the way through. TIA for any help!

Hi all, I have noticed that after deleting my WASM files, my MSFS2024 sim rate starts to speed up automatically during the flight. I have never had that happen in FS4, FS2020 and now FS2024. I do use chaseplane and never had that issue with Chaseplane too. Anyone know why this could be happening?

A few of us reached out to PMDG regarding the ongoing issue with pulsing stutters in the 777, and I wanted to share a temporary workaround discovered by another user that seems to resolve the problem. The stutter isn’t the worst I’ve seen, but it becomes quite noticeable, especially if you're watching for it. After some testing, it appears the EFBs are the culprit. Specifically, certain EFB pages cause a recurring pulsing stutter every few seconds. You can reproduce this by enabling the FPS graph in MSFS 2020 or 2024, where you’ll clearly see red frame time spikes that correspond to the stutters (as shown in the video below).
