Hello fellow simmers, Does anyone know how to successfully install reshade for msfs2020? I'm done with Nvidia filters after getting random ctd and low fps. I tried different reshade versions and pointed to 2 different .exe files (I use the steam version of msfs) but none of these were successful. Either the launch button for reshade didn't do anything or my game window turned to black and white without any reshade menu visible. I successfully installed reshade many times in different games. Has anybody noticed their sim sounds cutting out during flights and a stutter would happen around that time also?

Can someone help or direct me to a video that will help me set up my XBox controller for use in MSFS 2024. I want to use the controller purely to move around i.e. move forward, backwards, right, left, up, down etc. - not to use it to fly the aircraft. I have tried binding the buttons through the control tab on the settings page - but just cannot get them to work. Happy Flying

I recently bought and installed FS Hud 2.0, using MSFS 2024 SU4. Watched a number of setup vids. I have AIG traffic installed and selected within FSHUD menu: Simulator Traffic: Remove BGL: Enable AIG: Enable External: Disable I've also set the MSFS menu items to no traffic as well as per the recommendations. Everything seems okay as far as the atc working, and I have decent parked aircraft and arrivals quite regularly, but there is no departing traffic. I cannot use AI Traffic controller because it does not seem to work with SU4. What should I change to get departing traffic? I have the full world AIG schedules installed for MSFS …

Before landing, I arm the spoilers to deploy automatically upon touchdown. I'm too busy to check during the roll-out but as I pull off the active, if I go to a passenger window view, I'll see the flaps deployed but the spoilers are retracted. Is this normal, per the real jet or am I doing something wrong and the spoilers never deployed in the first place?

Can someone please explain to an word not allowed caveman like me, in the simplest of terms, what the differences are between FLCH, V/S (actually, that one is self-explanatory) and VNAV? These would be as they pertain to the (Fenix) A320 and the (iFly) 737MAX. Just saw a RL video where a jet crew used FLCH on takeoff, something I didn't think was ever done. Just trying to figure out how the RL pros use the modes.

Anyone get FSIPanel on SU4 to work? Mine start but just enters jibberish and the on the left hand side where the message are, I get a message to unplug or restart MCDU? On the fenix of course.

Fs24 beta the landing lights on Carenado a/c are pointing directly down on the ground (again), I thought this had been fixed. Anyone else seeing this?

Hey guys So this would be my first time using rolling cache in ms2020 su16 I have a 1000mbps of internet which i dont understand why but some areas look like garbage with photogrammetry. Will this help? I usually fly long haul Kjfk to omdb cyvr to yssy vhhh to egll etc etc. Is 128gb rolling cache fine? Thanks Mike

I like to assign a switch to ding dong (call to crew) in MSFS2024 but I don not know what it is called in the settings

This aircraft has been brought over to MSFS 2020 with displays dark that can't be adjusted. I thought a fix would be at play by now but that hasn't happened. Anyone got any insight on this?

I have just bought the A320/321/319 package for use in MSFS 2020. I am not familiar with the Installer at all. I have downloaded a number of liveries from .TO but I’m struggling to get them to show in the sim. I have pasted them into the A320/319/321 liveries folders in the aircraft section of my add-on linker file structure. I would like to know how I select and activate these using the Fenix installer please ?

Dear All, My last two flights in MSFS2020 with the iFly Boeing 737-8 have resulted in the aircraft going out of control. The take-offs have been fine and I then engage the autopilot with VNAV and LNAV set. The aircraft then climbs normally and the aircraft follows the flight plan correctly. Then, after roughly 5 minutes, instead of going to the next waypoint, the aircraft starts turning to the right and the turn tightens resulting ultimately in an almost out of control spin. On the first occasion, I managed to regain control, reset the autopilot and the aircraft climbs normally. However, after reconnecting the LNAV, the aircraft starts turning to…

Today, August 14th the latest dev vlog came out but there was no mention of SU16 blurry textures, washed out colors and pop in LODs. Is Asobo aware of the problem even or they choose to ignore it. FS 2024 is broken mess and now they ruined FS2020 because they want to please Xbox people. Its ridiculous. Yes the performance is much, much smoother but at what cost.

After rebuilding my Office, I am almost ready for buying MS2024 for a complete new install on my gaming pc. I bought FS2020 via Steam and guess I'll do the same with MSFS2024. Do you have any advice for preparing the pc for 2024 so to get the optimum setup and install? Secondly, I will (only) buy the Standard version, but would like also to have the C-17, and I remember seeing that it will be possible to buy it separately, but can't remember how and what it will cost, maybe you can point me in the right direction.

Maybe Im stupid, but I cant for the world get the control setup I have for (e.g) the A330 to work in e.g Fenix or Inibuilds, and all other planes too. I dont understand how to save/configure the setup I have and apply the setting to all my other aircrafts... I just want one setting to work for ALL my planes, like in 2020... But in 2024 its just confusing and frustrating, so please, can someone gudie me through the process please! Best regards Per

A small selection of airports that I would like to see rendered in high detail....... LMML Malta International - I know that there is a JustSim version, but I want much more detail, and terminal interior modelling. EIDL Donegal - the hand crafted version is nowhere near detailed enough for me. Once again, terminal interior modelling is a must. EHRD Rotterdam - that RD Presets v2 version of the airport has a very simplified interior. I need a lot more detail than that. Of course, there are plenty of others on my Christmas list, but those three are always on my mind.

I forgot how I disabled the co-pilot in the game which was several years ago. Now I notice that in the cockpit view of a Cessna, he's not there but in the external view, the co-pilot is visible. I did a search for that but mostly the answers were related to MSFS 2024.

Forgive this senile question but today I bought MSFS2024 through steam. The installer picked up that I had MSFS2020 in the past and told me I could install my purchases into the new version via the marketplace. I am wondering .... am I meant to install the 2020 World updates into 2024?

I can't get COM2 to work in FS2024. If I tune in a local ATIS, all I hear is strange static or highly distorted like sounds. I have tried two payware and two default aircraft (King Air 350i and the Piper Dakota). I can tune in a local ATIS on COM2 in FS2020. Is there a default FS2024 aircraft with a working COM2, or is there a general COM2 FS2024/SU3 bug? Thanks, Al
