Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

The title says it all. Outside the sim the keyboard works fine. I noticed the sim didn't recognize the esc key. Anyone have this problem? Don't know what I could of done. I've notice other strange issues after the last update. I'm not in the bata program Thanks Bill McCracken

All I would like to see is the rear cabin, cargo door, and cabin door visible/usable. I was just programming a flight plan into the Fenic MCDU, having initially imported via Simbrief, and then made two errors. I wanted to ‘reset’ the flight plan to start again. Could not find a way of doing this. Tried deleting each waypoint but that would then have meant rendering each one manually. Surely there must be a way to ‘reset?’

As the title suggests, looking to pick up an Austin for the upcoming F1 race and it looks like there is a Feelthere and then a DominicDesign and in total transparency, not familiar with the latter at all and have the proper expectations with the first one... Anyone that can speak from experience with one, either or both that they can share? I am leaning towards the Dominic Design at least from screenshots it looks to be the better of the two... Appreciate the input and feedback

So I know this has been brought up before and I was one of those that was quite reluctant to adopt Discord and pretty negative about the overall Discord for getting support with MSFS add-ons model. Well egg on face and back to admit I was wrong. Still not a big fan of Discord, I do find it a bit intrusive and the structure can be very difficult to follow and pick up where you left off sometimes in the channels where everything is one big continuous thread but for the most part I am finding that in a lot of cases it is a near real time communication channel with a lot of developers who respond sometimes instantaneously. I have my FS20 running smooth and steady but there is one trait it has that is extremely irritating- the annoyances with loading and flying a save flight. Saved flight issues in FS20: You cannot control the weather You cannot control the time Slew is disabled Navigation data is lost Flight loads with autopilot turned off so you are greeted with a nosedive/steep climb This means that if I want to continue the flight without issue later I have to use Developer Pause (the only true pause) & leave the PC on. ... to me I mean. One of the consistently expressed positives are changes in clouds and lighting, but TBH I see some good, and a fair amount of not good, compared to its predecessor. I do appreciate what's missing: much less volcanic ash clouds. And with regard to lighting there is more variety of color at dusk/dawn versus the often pink-red in 2020. And there are somewhat better cloud morphologies though sometimes hard to grasp because of the low resolution involved. I see so much in terms of cloud cover as being made up of clusters of cotton balls and that looks often unnatural to me. I have recently downloaded the headwind A339 from their installer, yet when i try to take off the thrust rolls back to idle, basically it stays at full on the ground and as soon as the nose rotates the thrust rolls back, the throttle shows its at toga but the thrust is at 20%, it happens at any airport, it always rolls back when i start rotating.

Hi!,still investigating my VRAM leak issue,but I kindly request info to know what TLOD are you using at high level altitudes over big cities. Over the islands I can set TLOD400 without any problems….but over big cities I found that TLOD250 is the limit to prevent VRAM leak. FS2024,9959X3D,64MBRAM,5080. Very curious to know your TLOD setting on cruise and your system specs… Thanks!

Just recently every time I use FS2020 my graphics settings are changed to what I think is default settings. Alter them back to my options click and save next time i fire up the sim changed again happened 3 or 4 times, sometimes this happened with updates but these changes are happening without sim updates. Changed CFG file to read only to prevent further occurrences got me thinking if the CFG file is corrupted if I delete it does the sim rebuild it on next start up? Have FS2024 on a different drive. I'm sure this has been asked before but all i can find is related to msfs 2020 I have downloaded the updated honeycomb software for msfs 2024 and in general they all work my fenix a320 works fine plus a few other payware addons but I cannot get my pmdg 777 or the crj aircraft to get the lights on. does anyone know what the solution is Thanks

For some reason flying with BATC in MSFS2020 has now become a waste of time for me. A typical 90 minute flight will include about 4 or five connection disconnects! Not sure what to do. I've tried a full reinstall, I always start the program with admin rights, run all settings in the AI section at default 5, added the exe file to the exclusion list in Windows defender and that has made zero difference. Unsure what to do next.... any ideas guys?

hi guys, well i think the latest beta has broken my fenix a320 as i can no longer get reverse thrust to work. it all worked fine a couple of weeks ago but now, even though they have changed "throttle cut to "previous detent" (i think its called that ) on my first application of reverse thrust with my honeycomb bravo throttles the engines go into reverse fine but on then selecting idle again, no 2 engine stubbornly stays in full reverse and the throttle becomes unusable. Has anyone else had anything similar? Its driving me nuts all was working well and then this

So after the Fenix update a couple of months ago, it now appears we can get somewhat of a weather radar display. I've been seeing the weather areas actually trying to run away from me. Meaning there's no way I could fly directly into one of those area's of heavy precip. I'm currently departing KCHS on VATSIM. Any of the Fenix drivers see this before ?

I have been flight simulating for over 20 years and have used many different autopilots. I have this problem with both msfs 2020 (su16) and 2024 (beta). The only autopilot that works now is the garmin g1000 all the other autopilots when I make my flight plan and take off and turn on the any other autopilot ( garmin 530 or 430 or any other one except the g1000) the plane turns right and dives down to the ground. I have uninstalled both sim's and reinstalled both. Emptied community folder and it still does the same thing. Hopefully someone can help me with this out of idea's. thank you

I bought it back in the p3d days, and any time I got a new plane it was virtually guaranteed someone had already set up a profile for it that used my Bravo throttle. 2020 was the same way. I hardly ever had to manually configure anything even with just-released planes because someone almost always beat me to it. But these days it's kind of the opposite. I've started using 2024 a lot more since I got a system that can handle it, so I'm exploring all the new planes like the A400, C17, etc, and I'm not seeing much for online profiles of them. I'm happy to make and publish my own, but it just seems odd that they seem to have dried up so much.

I used fs95/98 an insane amount when I was a kid, and then I hit puberty and just became uninterested. Fast forward 25 years and I was curious if there was anything new, and sure enough fs2020 had come out, and it looked freaking amazing when comparing it to the last version I played. Now I'm on fs24, and it seems the wrinkles are being ironed out -- I've got pmdg 777, and think it's fantastic. I just purchased scenery for egll, and I'm amazed at how awesome the game overall is, its pretty close to feeling real. Some things that really bug me though, is the default traffic, how they'll just completely get in your way and I just end up ignoring them and driving…

Currently, SWS support on their home page seems not be accessible and SWS is the only site on Discord which I cannot use... Purchased both products with Orbx. Running MSFS 2024 SU3 RV-10 version 1.1.0: all 3 displays are very dim. Impossible to fly. RV-14 version 1.4.2: PMS GTN750 is not starting. The "z-sws-aircraft-vansrv14-pmsgtn" file provided in the model download is in the Community folder. PMS GTN750 is working fine in all other planes. Has this great community any tips how to fix these problems? Thanks for any hints!

Hi All, I just bought the //42 Fox 42 and Fox2 complete package through the market place. As the title says, where do I get docs from? I just want to know which keystrokes do what. I am using MSFS2024 and this was listed as being compatible. Cheers and thanks in advance. I did not want to go to //42 support as they want me to register and I really do not need yet another site username and password on my list.

Hi all. I have started spending time with the Hype H145 and it's really interesting. I just did a cold and dark start, I think correctly. But I have a message saying "MGB Low Pressure" and I don't know how to address it and clear it. Can anyone help with this? Thanks.
