Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I sues to use the stopwatch to be able to ensure I am back to normal speed after using time acceleration. However, all of a sudden now my stopwatch stays at normal time even when in acceleration mode. Does this happen to others? If so, what other ways are there to measure time acceleration? Thanks.

Having experienced a lot of ATC clipping and clearances given over the top of the request being made, This morning I have found that it seems to be working great (at least for VFR) for the first time ever in msfs2024. I have changed a couple of settings today namely switching Aircraft Traffic Type to Real-time online and Sea Traffic to ultra as required for GAIST. Is it those settings that made a difference and seemed to fix the issues or has ASOBO/MS done something o the server side (possibly as a part of SU4 work)? I'm not on the beta BTW. Any difference with your experiences?

I have just started playing around with the Hype H145, which I have owned for quite some time without really trying to use it. I have recently decided that I want to spend some and gain some experience with helicopters. I want to watch a particular H145 video that starts completely cold and dark. In the video the helicopter is outside but shut completely down. I am trying to do that but every time I choose a gate or a parking space, I end up cold and dark in some building (hangar). Mixture axis used to work fine on my piston-engined aircraft. Sometime, and it may have been with upgrading to SU3, it broke. What happens now on the two aircraft I've tested, and the two I use most in career mode, Cessna 172 and 400, is that while the mixture knob in the cockpit follows the movement of the throttle quadrant hardware lever, the mixture doesn't reduce until I get right near the detent, when it drops to zero. So I have grinded career mode, created a couple of companies (a cargo one, and one for VIP charter). I just sold off my C172 for cargo and the Cirrus vision jet for the vip service to get that 2.4M credits needed to buy the C208. I bought that for my cargo company, but now no missions spawn - neither in Freelance nor for Employee. Whats up with that? Im stuck and the game doesnt offer me any advice on how to proceed and there are no options to make money.

I use AH2 frequently and mainly do ferry flights often to the far east from EGMC, mainly in BlackSquare GA planes (more fun). I have noticed though there are some airports that are missing from the Navigraph/Simbrief database in Central Asia/Northern China. These airports exist in MSFS 2020 (I haven't upgraded to 2024 yet), LittleNavMap, AH2 but not in GTN 750 either. Luckily you can insert new airfield locations into the GTN 750. As an exaple I've just flying from ZWSS to ZBAI neither of which are in Navigraph/GTN 750. Does anyone have an explanation for these anomalies ?

Try as I might I can't get this aircraft to fly level hands off. No problem with the other two aircraft I mainly use - Cessna 172 and Caravan. If I try to trim it out, the elevator trim gradually reduces. This happens whether I adjust the trim from my Fulcrum yoke or my Saitek panel. Left to its own devices the descent rate steadily and inexorably increases. It needs a lot of manual elevator to counteract it. It also needs a lot of elevator to take off, but I do get a positive AOA. Hello everyone, since recently I haven't been able to load MSFS2020: I get a CTD while loading the sim, at around 60%. Searching for a solution points me to the Nvidia App. However, I uninstalled it, updated driver to 581.29, and still it doesn't load. I checked again, but it's not installed. Wiping cache and temp files didn't solve this either. Using safe mode still gives me a CTD. Furthermore, removing UserCfg.opt (so that MSFS generates a new one, using DX11) also solves nothing. I rebooted my PC to discover that MSFS 2024 was uninstalled - completely. Even the community folder was gone. All remnants of the app were gone. Nothing else appears amiss on my computer. I don’t have any other XBox games, so I can’t say if it is an XBox issue overall, or MSFS 2024 specific. How is this possible? How does it delete itself from disk, including the community folder? I could restore the system from a backup, but I think I’m more inclined to just do a fresh reinstall. This is really, really weird….

I got into the habit of walking up the stairs, opening the door and walking into the cockpit then 'sitting down' but I guess the last update stopped the plane from launching w/ airstair deployed? Or is it possible to make this happen again?

Hi , Sorry if this has been asked before but I could find nothing relating to my issue. I'd like to know how, once I have set up custom cockpit views on a specific livery, say Air France inibuilds a350, I can apply those same custom views to all inibuilds a350 liveries? Copying the Camera cfg from one folder to the other does not work as the views were moved ( for instance the original captain view in the first livery, gets me outside the cockpit when loading livery 2).
