Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hello, Ever since I've been using MSFS 2020 and 2024, the airport history has never updated. It always shows the same three airports. I've searched the web and there is not much information on this subject. I've tried a couple of solutions but none of them have solved the problem. Does anyone else have this problem and found a solution? Thanks

So rather than getting into an argument about 2020 v 2024 I want to try and figure out why I'm having such massive differences in performance (when others claim MSFS 2024 is more performant than its predecessor). I start the sim on a runway then select the FSIPanel link in the menu and then start FSIPanel. It hangs every time now for me. I try starting the app then the link and get the same thing. The only way it does not have is if I start FSIPanel without the Sim running. I try then to start the sim and it connects but nothing happens. Anyone get it to work? Tied both release and SU4

I have not been able to make purchases from the marketplace since SU2 and now in SU3. I have a Credit Card, a Debit Card and PayPal as alternative payment types but nothing works. I get a box indicating MS store which becomes the dreaded black box with the three flashing white dots. I can use any of the 3 payment methods in the Microsoft store When will this be solved. I believe from a previous post that Microsoft, using a member's details, with their permission, could not make a purchase. To me this just as important as any other issues and maybe more important.

Does anyone know of a landing and taxi light fix for the Carenado C182RG? The lights are out in front of the prop in MSFS2024. I downloaded the package but the file structure is not the same as MSFS so I can't see anything about light locations. I looked high and low for an answer.

I thought I understood how, but creating a new profile for the particular plane I'm in, setting sensitivities then assigning them to the new profile doesn't stick. When I change to a different plane profile the settings don't update. Anyone have success with this?

Hello folks, I was searching and thinking a way to edit predefined instruments cameras that we have on each aircraft. Because for me i managed a better way for my keybinds to enable it. I already use the 10 custom user cams for cockpit and passangers views. And Shift+DX for instruments cameras. On MSFS2020, i find a way to change the position of instruments cameras editing the file “cameras.cfg” that is present on every aircraft SimObjects Folder. Hi all, Recently downloaded fs2024 and have just got around to setting up all my hardware. Everything works fine apart from my Haptic Seat pad.... which works fine in FS 2020. I start off a flight on the runway for example then initiate the the HF8 but nothing comes through the seat. Am i missing something with the new sim, googled for any advice but have come up with nothing. Any help would be appreciated if anyone has any advice. Regards

I've recently been flying the latest SU4 for MSFS 2024 and the night time lighting for the first time ever has blown me away. Gone are the dreadful glowing fields. I can't believe it took until 2025 for this to happen, but here we are. Does anyone know if there are any plans to remove this from MSFS 2020? It performs far better for me, and I would prefer to go back to it, but with the insanely good night lighting from SU4.

I have been doing flights in the Inibuilds (Microsoft) default A330 in FS2024. For some reason my ND always displays distance from a way point instead of distance to the next way point. So for example if I take off from ANC and head to SEA it shows my distance from ANC instead of my distance to SEA. I can't seem to find a way to fix it but this seems backwards to me and interestingly the Fenix A320 at least defaults to distance from your next way point. I can go into the FMC (or whatever Airbus calls it) itself and can see distance to my next way point but for some reason the ND always displays distance from a way point. I am considering getting a couple of airports via orbx. I have never used them before and from what I understand I have to install their app, orbx central, and then download and 'install' any purchases through the app. So far the only addons I have outside of the marketplace have either come from flightsim.to or direct from GotFriends. These have been direct downloads and I manage them all with addons linker. I would like to do the same with the orbx packages but I am not sure if this is possible. I have tried searching on the issue but haven't got a clear answer. From what I understand orbx central will download the packages and then install them directly into…

Does anybody else have the same problem as me. Everytime I enter the sim I have reset DLSS to 4x, the sim refuses to save it, it resets it back to 2x. Any ideas?

I went into the elevator controls for my yoke but couldn't find the setting to change how pitch sensitive the aircraft are (mine seems very overly pitch sensitive).

I probably know the outcome, but has anyone discovered a way to use Feelthere’s LGA in MSFS2024? I’m missing ILS22 and some other details. I believe there’s a freeware LGA as well as MK’s. I will probably bite the bullet and repurchase, but wanted to ask here first- anyone solve this in 2024? Ta- C

This is driving me buggie. Running MSFS 2024. If I start on a runway, I will be in the cockpit. If I start on any other location ie. Ramp, parking spot etc. I start up outside the plane, not in the cockpit. And.... I can't get into the cockpit no matter what I do. There are two tabs on the lower screen. EFB and Enter Cockpit. The EFB tab opens and closes the EFB, The Enter cockpit does nothing at all. I hit control C nothing, I hit shift C nothing, I hit C Space Bar nothing. This is driving me crazy. I'm in free flight mode. I don't want to walk around the airplane, I just want to start in the cockpit. Hoping someone out there can solve this crazy puzzle. It will be so ap…

All of a sudden when I click on "Sync Live Weather" in the Fenix EFB for calculation of TO speeds nothing happens. Anyone else have this issue or any idea how to fix? Thanks, Dave

An extremely strange one. I start a career mission in VIP mode, invite the passengers in, I get the animation of them walking to the aircraft (Cessna 400), they take their seats, but there is another passenger standing at the trailing edge of the right wing just outside the fuselage. And walking on the spot. This mysterious passenger stays with the aircraft for the rest of the flight - quite disconcerting when you're at 12,000 ft. This didn't happen before SU3. Yes, I've deleted all the shaders and rebuilt the rolling cache. Has anyone else had this problem?

Posted this in DLSS thread as well but, not on a lot of peoples minds over there so, thought I'd give it it's own thread to I have a chance at solving it. Have added the files from Nexus to the Limitless folder (dlssg_to_fsr3_amd_is_better.dll and version.dll). Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling is on in display settings. That alone should bring up frame generation in the sim but, it doesn't. I installed the latest Nvidia driver (572.16 -no nividia app). In DLSS Swapper I have DLSS - 310.1, DLSS Frame Generation - 310.1. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks This is for MSFS 2024

Sometimes I wonder why, but I still mess with career mode from time to time. I like the firefighting missions, but when it's time to drop water on the fire, only pressing the Z key on the keyboard works even though I've assigned the spray toggle to a button on the yoke. I even tried having Spad.neXt just send a keyboard Z when I hit the button, but nothing happens. If I'm not dropping water on a fire in a mission, the yoke button works fine. Even if I'm in a mission, if the fire's out and I drop water just to test, it works fine. It's only when I'm dropping because the mission wants me to that the button doesn't work. When the mission wants me to scoop water, …

I think it is well documented that some of the PMDG 777 sounds in MSFS 2020 (and I assume MSFS 2024) are rather disappointing, and I am well aware that a sound upgrade package is in development. However, I would like to know if anyone else is not hearing any sounds whatsoever during touchdown and rollout with the current implementation? I have tested my 777F several times recently, and all I hear is a very slight "swish" when the main gear makes contact with the runway, nothing whatsoever when the nose gear comes down, and no rollout sounds (rumbles/rattles etc). Is this issue exclusive to my installation of the 777, or are others experiencing this problem? It is a m…

My airports aren't working properly with GSX in msfs2024. Aircraft is not in correct parking spaces, caddy corner to the game etc. I was trying to do the exclude 3rd party airports int the FSDT installer but nothing populates. I just hit it and it nothing happens. None of my 3rd party aircraft are in the boxes. Keep getting pink characters, missing vehicles etc as well. I have uninstalled and reinstalled GSX many times.
