Hi Folks, So I've made this post on Reddit and the MSFS forums but yet to identify a fix just yet so I turn to Avsim to help. As first I was thinking this was a potential bandwidth / latency issue but after some playing around I've been able to point my finger at TLOD being overly aggressive. As a base I have my TLOD set at 100 and have been using AutoFPS for some time but for the sake of testing I've removed it from my PC and have stuck with using the built in TLOD slider. Hi Simmers! I don´t see any injected AI Traffic with FSLTL, as soon as I reduce the texture size of the FSLTL Simobjects (AI Airplanes). Before I reduced the textures they where woring but I need more headroom in MSF2024 for VR purposes. So I noticed more and more 3rd party developers are taking advantage of the walkaround mode in MSFS 2024. Now for those who dislike the walkaround mode and want to skip it, yes, you can skip the walkaround mode. The walkaround mode was very controversial on the release of MSFS 2024, as there was no way to skip it until Asobo added a way to skip it. A lot of people claimed the walkaround mode was useless. I just loaded up FS2020 after a long time because a new hardware product I just purchased works better in FS2020 than in Fs2024. When in my cockpit I am hearing strange screeching and clicking sounds. Does anyone know what causes this and how to get rid of them. It is so annoying, i quit and used FS2024. My new product is the Desktop Pilot Fuel Tank Select. In FS2024 the control bindings limit it to the Cessna 172 and Reims Rocket 172XP and in FS2020 bindings work in all aircraft. I like 2024 more but am willing to use 2020 with my other aircraft. These noises make it impossible for me to use this simulator. Thanks, Mike

The issue is as follows: 1. The checklist repeatedly states: - Mixture -- Adjust (to a fuel flow of 78 lbs/hr) - Mixture -- Lean (to a fuel flow of 68 lbs/hr) Does this mean that the needles on the fuel flow indicator should be around that value? 2. Hi , i noticed my MSFS2024 had degraded and MSFS2020 is now performing better one on one at EDDF in the Inibuild A321 latest scenery and aircraft. I noticed something which might just be an illusion but with the AIGTC running it showed me 45 aiplanes around me allthough not one vissible and I hadnt injected any yet. Switching real online to off vice versa didnt change the numbers. Injecting 20% it raised the numbers to 60 and some came alive at the airport. Is there a default traffic file not disabled or is AIGTC just showing wrong numbers? I have the new options set to off and low regarding traffic and people at the airport. Am i missing a…

Hi 🙂 new member on vatsim i struggle a bit with multiplayer and fsltl when using the injector offline we need to put the in sim traffic slider to 0 which mean you do not see any other traffic than the ai traffic injected by fsltl so even if i have multiplayer checked i dont see any other live players is there any way to make it happens ? See the AI traffic and the multiplayer ? I saw that for vatsim i have to add the fsltl file in vpilot, but if my in sim traffic are still at 0 i wont see any other real pilot right ? Any clue ? thanks

There are many posts in a number of forums that indicate that it is necessary to upgrade fs2020 to DX12 for proper operation with the latest NVIDIA drivers. What about this?

This is driving me to distraction. It affects addons too, but let me keep it simple and only talk about the MSFS2024 stock aircraft. Ever since SU3 was updated, the Free Flight list, which is alphabetical in its display sequence, is missing half the aircraft! It varies, but, at the moment, models whose names start with J and later. To illustrate - I boot up the sim and click on Free Flight: 'All' gives me this: Everything after a couple of Just Flight models are missing. Hi everyone, Quick question as i am not sure about it, As i can rarely fly the sim during the evening due to work i mainly use it during the morning ( i am in belgium) I really like to fly in the USA so i manually change the time to avoid being alway on night flight, but regarding the weather ( i use live weather ) does that mean that it goes to historical weather or is the sim still using the live one no mather the time you put on the sim ? I was under the impression that there was photogrammetry for the San Francisco area. However, in my system it doesn't look at all like it. All I see is AI generated buildings. Am I doing something wrong? Update: I bought the Samscene San Francisco addon and put the folder in my Community folder. Restarted the sim and San Francisco doesn't look any different. What am I doing wrong here? Do I have to disable something?

Hi all. I have read about the TextureOptimizer and I have it running now against my AIG library. Here are my questions: 1. Should I have specified that I want mipmaps? I didn't see the additional options until I already had it running. 2. Once it finally completes, other than renaming the old and new files, is there anything else I need to do? I think I remember reading somewhere about something you need to do with the json files but I can't find it anywhere. Thanks

Not sure if I am setting up Times properly....When launching time on APT I put desirable time. This time was 14:30 and dept time 15:00 UTC in OMDB....And it's Dark. Also flying from EHAM at 14:00 to NY I land 2050 and of course dark.... Was this ever topic or I missed something and does anything exist to fix this "problem"? LOL

Is it just me, or is anyone else having their co pilot character change randomly? Sometimes the co pilot even disappears altogether. Actuallly, I'm not massively keen on the character oprions and would like to create one or two of my own - how easy, or difficult is that? There are a few on flightsim.to but not really the types I am looking for.

I have just bought myself the 777F PMDG from the Marketplace MSFS24. I downloaded some liveries for the 777f from Flightsim.to and put them in to my Community folder as ususal. But only with this Aircraft I have the Problem that not a Single Livery will appear. I downloaded DHL, AeroLogic and Lufthansa Cargo. Can anyone help me?

Any comments from MSFS 2020 users of the above scenery addon? Is it rendered to a good level of detail? High resolution textures? Modelled interiors? Can any static airliners be disabled? EDIT: A quick check of the default airport has also revealed that there is a ridiculous line of autogen trees in the water (where the AI engine has determined that the Bing aerial image shows vegetation rather than waves in the water)! Thankfully, it looks like this product excludes those trees (based on the promotional video), but confirmation by other users would be very welcome

Can any users of the above airport addon let me know if you see AI cargo planes at any time? I have used the airport plenty of times, but I have not seen a single large cargo plane to date. I do know that Gate 6 is (annoyingly) defined as "UK2000", which means that no AI planes will be seen there. This was an easy change in P3D using Airport Design Editor, but there is nothing that I can do about it in MSFS 2020 In a perfect world, I would have also liked to remove most of the large static aircraft.....

well hmm, I post here because after several hours of search yesterday i'm still unable to figure it out 💩. I know it's a long shot because most people here probably have high end hardware so my keyboard issue is probably not very common and the least of your concerns. I have finally a new PC (after 12 years of a good old one that served me well 👍). I decided to go MSFS2024 because, like it or not (tbh i still currently preferred v2020), it's the future and installing both sims on the new machine does not make much sense to me (200+ GB of v2020 download being one of the main reason). Good day All, today I had two power cuts while launching MSFS 2020 MS Store edition. After the first power cut, MSFS started downloading 29 GB of stuff that I had previously uninstalled, such as bush trips, discovery flights, etc. After the second power cut and subsequent restart, MSFS is just stuck at "checking for updates" I tried starting offline (internet disconnected) but I only get an "Insert Disk" message. This is the first time anything like this has happened in 5 years of happy simming and I have no more ideas on what to try: any help will be greatly appreciated Alfa Tango
