Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Which airport addons are you thinking about buying right now, but holding back for some reason? There are three in this category for me.... MK Studios EDDL Dusseldorf - I would have already purchased this if the discount was the same 30% that I got with LEZL Seville. The actual offer of 5% just feels like a joke to me. Pyreegue EGBB Birmingham - I was busy beta testing the UK2000 version of this airport recently (this has just been released), so I wanted to test it without the distraction of any other version. RW Profiles EGNT Newcastle - no reason not to buy this apart from being a tight git who is reluctant to see the back of £15!

I use to fly is plane quit often about month ago. Decided to try it again and now I set my flight plan up with nav. and alt. set , then get up in the air turn on AP and it comes on for about 2 seconds and then disconnects. I have tryed everything and it just keeps disconnectin. I have su 16 installed. Anybody else have this problem and fix for it. Thanks

On my server it was gone. Making a new one using the Xbox prevents it to run as Admin what I want. ( Many cockpit addons , some need to be run as Admin too ) Client (shortcut from installation) : Server (shortcut made by XBox app) : Any advice ? Thanks in advance.

Part of the upcoming RJ update from JustFlight

I have a multitude of freeware and payware addons for MSFS2024 and I'm guessing that they include a lot of 4k textures that must be hogging my nvme drive and causing performance drops. Can anyone tell me how I can identify these and the easiest way to reduce them to 2k? FSLTL of course has a lot of 4k textures, but I've decided to leave these be for the time being as I read somewhere that after converting them to 2k, the json file had to be recompliled, though I'm not fully understanding why this is the case or the easiest way to do this. Thanks to anyone who can shed a bit of light on this for me.

Is it me or does MSFS 2024 also have the same darn issue as MSFS 2020 with timezones not changing according to aircrafts position. Seems to be staying in the timezone I took off at. Happy Landings

Does anyone of in SU4 Simbrief EFB Plugin working in 2024? It is in my community folder and works on SU3 and the release but does not show up SU4 in the EFB.

Hello to my fellow subscribers. I confirmed the following with my sighted friend. I just installed 2020 version number 1.39.9.0 I hear the music playing. This tells me that I have 2020 loaded and at the main welcome screen. I just had a sighted friend confirm this for me. It wants me to sign into a x box account, and I don't have x box. How can I get past this via keyboard commands? I have 2020 installed on a windows eleven desktop computer. Just curious of the top thing(s) people consider still not good enough with the current SU3 state of FS2024? For me its career. Bought it for career and 100% disappointment in its bugs, functionality, difficulty customization, progression system and reward implementation. Secondary would be plane bugs, can't play career fairly or properly if the plane is delivered handicapped.

I'm not able to make any purchases through the marketplace. I've tried signing out of my Xbox and Microsoft store accounts, I've tried opening MSFS 24 through both accounts and still have no luck. I've lodged a ticket, just wondering if there's any solutions anyone knows about?

I just purchased the iFly 737 MAX and installed it in both sims (2020 & 2024). However, once in the sim, the screens are dark and my mouse cannot move any of the switches. As far as I can tell the plug-in is congifured correctly but something is very wrong here. Just as an aside, I noticed the fire handles are all switched over to the left side. I would definitely apprceiate any help to get this bird going.

I recently picked up the FSS 727 package and I am having a lot of fun with it. I have always been a fan of the older steam gauge airplanes and this satisfies that desire to some extent. Overall a nice model but it might still be a bit simplified over the real thing and I remember the old Captain Sim 727 Professional package from way back in the FSX days was a lot more of a handful. One thing that I am a bit perplexed about is the lack of a non hush kit model for the Passenger version. This morning, when I fired up MSFS 2024, it asked me to sign in into my Microsoft account. It defaulted to my email, but when I try and enter the password, the box won't accept any characters from my keyboard. I tried plugging the keyboard into a different USB receptacle, but it made no difference. I tried to load FS20220 and had the same result. Anyone know how to correct this? Edit: I tried signing on to my Microsoft account online, and had the same problem, so obviously, it's not the sim, but a Microsoft issue. Oddly enough, I could sign in on my phone, but not my PC...

If you use FS HUD, does the traffic it generates use FSLTL aircraft, if it is installed, or does it only use AIG aircraft?

As I installed FS 2024 fresh for SU4 I was presented during the installation through the xBox App with the option to bind my desktop to the "run offline" mode for FS 2024. I did never see this popup before ? I have the Premium Deluxe version which has around 100 aircraft included in the sim, and I have around 30 in my Community folder, a total of around 130 aircraft that should show up in the Aircraft Selection list in Free Flight. But I am only able to see around 100, one time I counted 104, another time I counted 98. The alphabetical list stops around P, so aircraft like the Textron C152 just don't appear. If I use the Search function I can get the missing aircraft to appear (one at a time) but that's not really good when I'm scrolling through looking for an aircraft that catches my eye for a particular flight.
