State of the software edition: Pure bliss.

I’m very impressed with the sheer volume of DLC available for MSFS 2024. It seems 3rd party content providers are popping up everywhere, kudos to them all. Everyday I’m seeing new content or updated content in my feeds. I know this thread will go down the road of quality vs. quantity (in which I say to each his or her own), but regardless, I’ve never seen so much available for a simulator before, very impressive. This should keep MSFS development going for a LONG time.

I seem to have two models of the same structure at FlyTampa EKCH Copenhagen Kastrup in MSFS 2020. I assume that one is a default model, but I am not sure why the FlyTampa scenery is not excluding it. Does anyone else see this? https://www.mediafire.com/view/513d4kkdagxiokf/Kastrup1.jpg/file

After finding my Aivlasoft EFB app had stopped giving the weather for DEP ARR airports etc., I found out that some other Weather incorporated apps in the sim community were also not functioning correctly. I saw a post from a dev from one of those apps who had found that the - AWC Weather server - had changed the format of their broadcasts and/or deleted some of their ouput info. Now this dev said that he would have his app fixed to accept the new format. Problem is, I dont know if anyone can fix Aivlasoft to accept the changes... If anyone has the knowledge, capability to fix this that would be great ...... it may only be an IP address…

Hello, so I recently took the plunge and bought an RTX5090. I'm looking for feedback on whether what I'm seeing is what I should expect as the non frame gen performance doesn't really seem any better than what I had with my 4080. The 4x frame gen is impressive, and more than makes up for it in most situations, but even with my old settings I don't seem to be seeing much difference if any at all. TDS have just posted to their Discord announcing updates this weekend (Saturday 14th) that will bring Cross-Fill support to the MSFS and XP versions of their GTN software and custom mods for default MSFS 24 aircraft allowing you to add the TDS GTNs to the cockpit. I'm thinking of picking up CRJ V2 for MSFS as I want to do some regional jet flying and CRJ fits in quite nicely. However knowing Aerosoft and their recent history with product quality with MSFS - I'm bit sceptical in making any purchases from them. Back on P3D I owned their CRJ and it was reasonable and flyable certainly not PMDG or Fenix quality but it was still fun to fly. There were still numerous bugs which aerosoft never bothered to fix either. What do you people think about CRJ V2 - is it worth it? What about FMS - does it have advanced features like RNP approach capability or holds..etc?

NOTAM: If you are on FSLTL v1.6.6 and a regular user of FSHud, you may not want to update to latest FSLTL v1.6.7 as it no longer supports FSHud compatibility. Reason (from what I understood) - since traffic data is sourced from FR24, their new terms of service prohibits use of traffic data for commercial use by any 3rd party software..

This is something that is starting to annoy me. No matter what time of the day or week that I visit certain airports, there are hardly any AI planes parked there. There are three that I can name without even thinking about it... EGNM Leeds Bradford - I use the IniBuilds version, but the default airport has the same lack of AI planes EGFF Cardiff - I use the Gaya handcrafted version, but the same applies to the UK2000 version of the airport LEGE Girona Costa Brava - I have the MK Studios version installed, but I cannot remember seeing more than one AI plane parked there There are probably more that I cannot remember off the top of my head, but tho…

I'm having an issue when flying into Maccosim EGCC in FS2020. I'm using RJ100 and FSLT traffic. Using Auto FPS set to 25. Around 4dme on the ILS I lose performance to slide show levels, as low as 6 fps. This seems to continue until about 2dme when it slowly recovers. Spawning in at EGCC I get around 25 fps, looking at my FSUIPC logs an outbound flight has the lowest FPS as 16, inbound 6. Is there something that can be changed in settings, it must be due to something being rendered at this distance. Don't have this problem elsewhere, even at Heathrow.

I usually fly either the Fenix A319/20/21 or the PMDG 777. Thought I'd try the FSL A321Neo. Wow it's a challenge...in all the wrong ways... - taxiing is clunky...doesn't react well on the taxiway - bringing thrust back to idle during taxi literally stops the aircraft (this isn't realistic at all) - having to press the pedal disc to taxi is so clunky and clumsy...just combine rudder and tiller - key binds are very difficult...I have a long list of things that work really easily in the Fenix but don't work at all in the FSL A321 - finally got detents on the TM Airbus throttle and the joystick to work but it took a lot of time I'm heading back to the Fenix as …

This is a very worrying issue. I have just fitted a RTX4090 which works perfectly. However, I've been using it with DX12 and frame gen for the past week with no problem whatsoever. But only today I did a short flight in the chancellor into Belfast and to my surprise, I only got 28-30fps around the terminal! I was really puzzled, as it was a little jittery too. I hadn't done any flying with DX11 and TAA, so I thougt it would be a good test to do some comparisons, so I switched to DX11 and closed down the sim. As the title says, a number of FSLTL aircraft don't seem to have any textures. This seems to be only Lear Jet and Kingair type/sized traffic. Is this a general issue still or just a problem for me? Just wondering if I need to reinstall FSLTL or not if they will be fixing in their next update (whenever that may be). FSLTL traffic is really nice overall though and hats off to the devs who give us this wonderful addition for no charge.

Hi all I am having a difficult time to get my Thrustmaster to work. I have checked loads if pages on you tube and tried what has been said there but it doesn't work for me. It is the spoilers and Flaps I only have one setting in out Going from 0 to full it sets it at the first position to 20degrees and that is that As said I have looked at a few setup films all the same with minor differences but it doesn't work for me Hope someone here can help thx in advance Ian

to all. I'm in the process of picking up a Seagate 4 tb external hard drive. Ms was telling me last night that I don't have enough room on my c drive to run 202 and or 2024. So, can I simply just unistall steam from my computer without closing out my steam account from online?
