Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

...has gone bonkers since SU16. It still performs properly, but now, when the throttle is pulled below 50', it begins announcing"auto-throttle", "auto-throttle", "auto-throttle", "auto-throttle" continuously on roll-out. Disconnecting the auto throttle stops this behavior until I shut down the engines, whereupon it begins to shout "auto-throttle", "auto-throttle", "auto-throttle" again. This continues through the entire shut-down sequence and does not stop until the batteries are turned off. Am I the only one experiencing this?

I have just loaded this airport in MSFS 2020, and the performance is shockingly bad in DX12 mode. It is a slideshow on my PC. Granted I have a low end system, but I can run other large detailed airports without any problems (IniBuilds EGLL London Heathrow, all of the super detailed Pyreegue airports, Aerosoft EBBR Brussels and EDDF Frankfurt etc). How much VRAM does this airport need?

SU4 beta is freezing randomly, first i thought it was Ini a350's problem (the sim froze every time i pressed TOCONFIG or ECAM CLR via a sim connect event, but then it also crashed on finals of course, in the fenix. Also, audio stutters are crazy sometimes. Anyone had similar issues? Now im stuck either with Su3 with its abysmal performance, or Su4 beta which is totally unstable 9950x3d/5090. funny thing, su4 beta works just fine for my friend with an intel cpu (not using any custom bindings tho)

I'm stumped - recently updated to the latest version of this airliner and it looks great but my yokes do not move at all - only the rudder pedals? No other aircraft in my fleet default or otherwise exhibits this behavior - is there a switch I'm missing somewhere - like a "gust lock" sort of thing? Thanks!

Maybe I'm the only one, but I've been having framerate issues on the ground, and it seems to be correlated to when I'm moving. If the plane's sitting still, everything's smooth. As soon as I taxi, it gets a little laggy. On takeoff and landing, it becomes a slideshow. As soon as I'm wheels up, it smooths out again. So it's almost like the tires rotating is what's somehow causing the lag, and the faster they're rotating, the worse the lag gets. Anyone else experience this?

Practising my useless landings with FSI Panel at EGLL 27R using “live” weather (it’s super windy here right now). For reference this is c1330h on 15/9/2025. I didn’t know that MSFS could simulate windshear. In c40 years of flight sim, I’ve never before had a “windshear” alert and truthfully I assumed it was non-functional in the Fenix - but it works! Thank goodness it was only in a simulator because it was genuinely scary. I definitely do not have what it takes: there were two alerts on short finals. I recovered from the first at c680ft AGL and was feeling smug when the second one hit at c200ft. I reacted too slowly 🪦 - but I question whether it was recoverable…

I can load the load flight plan in the FSL A321 Neo FMGC but can't get the EFB to connect to Simbrief to load the aircraft. As can be seen here (FMGC loaded, but not EFB): https://imgur.com/a/rZkqJoQ The EFB says 'No data' on the weight of the aircraft. I've set my username in the FSL app...what else am I doing wrong?

I'm trying to repaint the BlackSquare TBM for MSFS 2024 and was able to get one done using Blender and the paintkit available at Flightsim.to. It works in 2020, however it just shows a white texture in 2024. I see that several folks have new 2024 liveries for the 850. What do I need to do to convert it to 2024?

Hi, See screenshots when i fly i have max 15gb vram but after a while it goes to 12-13 gb. Why is this? I close all side things like youtube etc but still it doesnt give back? See screenshots. Hi, I need some help. After SU4 Update Beta 1.6.5.0 my Community folder has disappeared! Now I have only one Community folder: Comunity2024 and it is empty! It is supposed to be in: Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages But is it not! What I have to do? Thank you in advance

I'm trying to manually set up a route in the C172 using the G1000 but can't press any of the knobs with the mouse button FMS, ALT, NAV or COM. I'm using Legacy mode in the Cockpit Interaction System. Anyone else having this problem and is there a fix, works fine in MS2020. Glen

Just flew the Fenix (A319 in this case) for the first time in the last couple of weeks. Noted that none of the cockpit interior lights are working. Panel lighting works fine but nothing else. Anyone else having issues?

I am using only the default A32N and A321LR, the flightplan is created and generated in SimBrief, for instance from LEMD to LPPT, but when I import it from Simbrief into the MCDU / FMGC, the origin airport is moved one line bellow in the list, a (LIM) conditional waypoint is inserted at the top, and I am unable to select a Departure. If I click in the LS key next to the origin airport the only option shown is for "Arrival" 😕 Any of you with this same problem? I have tried with other airports but it's always the same with the origin airport. FS 2024 Nav database was updated through Navigraph Hub.

When running AIG AI Manager (for update) it asks me to do some renaming. As so often, the AIG descriptions are somewhat cryptic to me. Please, can someone guide me carefully through this process. I really don't want to re-download everything again.

Can any of you on SU4 Beta confirm if your log book flying hours are increasing as you fly in the beta? I cannot remember from past betas but they certainly are not increasing for me on at least the past 6 flights. Stuck at 203 hours I even did a complete flight in the Fenix from gate to gate and ended the flight correctly. Not using Developer Mode.

I've completed a few flights inside Portugal and also between airports in Spain, France and Portugal and everytine I start de flight at a gate with jetways, I can't get it to move and attach to the aircraft? I've tried with default ATC, BATC and FSHUD.

Hi all Just looking around the Asobo 787 flight deck for the first time and noticed that the first officer's display seems the wrong way around, which looks a bit odd when flying from that side. Is there a button in the real 787 flight deck (or the sim) to reverse this? Thanks

What are the minimum controls needed to fly a tail-dragged like a DC-3? I’m interested specifically in taxiing and ground control. i have a Logitech (Saitek) X52 control system and it has no capability for directional braking or directional thrust on a multi-engine aircraft like the DC-3. Rudder control is limited to twisting the joystick without any rudder pedals. And, of course, rudder authority is limited without airflow over the rudder. Is it possible to have sufficient ground control to land a DC-3 with this setup?

I want to use an older Nvidia Game Controller for controlling walkaround mode and drone mode. I will only discuss walkaround mode in this thread. When I plug in a USB cable to the controller, it is recognized by MSFS 2024. However, when I try to make bindings for it, they don't come out right. Example: I pull up "Move Left" in the controls menu and then I assign it to the left direction of one of the hat-switch looking controls. All seems well at that point. But then I try to assign "Move Right" by moving that same controller switch to the right. But: MSFS assigns both the left and right bindings to the same thing, so I don't end up with two proper bin…
