Is anyone else being spammed by 2024 since SU3? At every startup an Airshow Assistant v3 tells me there's an update for me. I don't HAVE AA V anything and I don't want it. But how to get rid of this irritation? Beats me.

  3. Anyone try any of the recent bush planes the Lionheart Pacer Series or the SWS GA8-Airvan? If so what ya think of the handling and do the Performance specs match the numbers? Happy Landings

  4. Anyone using the Black Square TBM in 2024? I just tried and it flies fine, but no sound. Just wondered if anyone else had luck. Thanks.

  5. Started by SayAgain,

I’ve recently started downloading my content rather than streaming and there is more consistency visually and performance is improved (gained a few FPS). Haven’t notice any difference in loads times on initial flight start. FYI, my internet connection is good (900Mbps down and 80Mbps up on average with slight variance thru-out the day) and I’m relatively close to MS servers for MSFS 2024. I’m curious to know what your experiences are with Download vs. Streaming?

  7. I may be going nuts, but every time I check my graphic settings, they are never the same as I left them on the last flight. In fact, if I check the settings during a flight, they are not the same as I set them before the flight while still on the ground. This is not happening in MSFS 2020. Am I losing my mind or is that happening to anyone else? Thank you, Maurice

  9. I activated DLSS4 on my 4060ti and it was all done correctly. The DLSSinfo method shows the latest version being used in MSFS too. But i have a stupid question: does DLSS4 now require using DX12 mode? If yes, thats a shame since DX12 doesnt run as well on my system. In areas with dense scenery and high quality aircraft, it is more laggy and has more stutters. For some reason it seems to utilize more system RAM on my rig, so in the past I prefered DX11. I am not using FG, as I dont like the taering effects, but I like the better image quality that DLSS4 delivers. The problem is that DX11 doesnt seem to work with it. After the installation launching MSFS in DX11 m…

Good morning, Is there a way to extend the TLOD settings in MSFS 24 like it was possible in 20 by editing the usercfg.opt? It seems that i cant find the entry... Best regards

Robinson R66 in 2024: fine in 2D and VR from the exterior, but FPS in VR Cockpit drops to 4 to 8 FPS?? I'm running a Pimax Crystal Light, 9800x3d, 4090, 64 gb ram. Every other aircraft runs fine in VR or 2D. Any thoughts appreciated.

Hi all, as it is really killing my nerves recently, a quick question if someone maybe found a fix for this: since SU3, the sim stutters like crazy in the menues. Especially when selecting free flight, the selection menue is loaded with the world in the background and then I get a solid 2-3 second stutter until I can select my departure. Also zooming and moving around on the world map is a stutterfest. Once loaded fully in the sim, the performance is unaffected and the same, even slightly better compared to pre-SU3, but the menues is a pain. What could be the cause?

  15. The weird thing is, outside of the hitching, FS24 runs like a dream...so incredibly smooth. At KSFO in the PMDG with BATC or S.ai traffic, it's silky smooth...and i mean, really really smooth. It stays this way until around 3000 feet. Same goes for KSEA, KLAX. Then I start getting really bad hitching and stuttering...for a few moments, then it smooths out again. The cycle repeats smooth, stutter, smooth, stutter. If I'm flying a slower plane, it's non existent, the whole experience is very smooth. I thought it was because of using a complex plane, but if it was that, it wouldn't make sense that the scene is so smooth while on the ground...that's usually where it's heavies…

  17. Started by agent00729,

I am interested in the Bravoairspace or Horizon 787s in msfs 2024. To get them to work, I know I need the 2020 version of the 787-10 activated in 2024. However, I do not currently own the premium deluxe for either 2020 or 2024. My question is, if I upgrade my standard edition 2024 to premium deluxe 2024, will I get access to the 2020 version of the 787 in 2024 (without owning the 2020 premium deluxe)? Thanks.

Sky4sim is a one-time purchase whereas Navigraph is subscription based. What would I miss if I opted for Sky4sim instead of Navigraph? I mostly fly to less than a dozen airports under different scenarios. One aim is to use all the aircraft as I can of which I've purchased many but rarely used in prior versions of the sim. I do not participate in virtual airlines. Thank you.

Just flown from YYC to Vegas. I'm using the FlyTampa products and to my eyes it looks really really good since SU 16. Took the drone to the strip and from around 500ft i was pleasantly surprised. Anyone else looked at it? What do you think? At ground level not great but from above pretty good billboards and such.

  24. Started by Dillon,

From the wonky Spitfire Mk1A to the new P-47D this developer can make a somewhat decent visual model but consistently falls off the cliff with flight dynamics and sounds. Their updates are actually to be avoided as they do more harm than good. Case in point AH just broke the P-51 to where it's unflyable. Can't take off with the thing anymore. Luckily enough I had my old installers (which Simmarket and others are going away from) or this add-on would have been toast for me (still looking for an improved soundset for this). I would never purchase from this developer again. The P-47D was so close but watching the reviews of the sound set and knowing AH will not improve t…
