Lots and lots of locations and flights, I had no problems with Bijans. But from LECU to LEMD (very short flight) it CTD's every single time very early in the flight. No other flight in any other part of the world had any problems at all. If I remove the Bejans folder, then the flight has no issues. Otherwise CTD every time on LECU to LEMD apts. If you have Bejans, and want to test, first set up the Flight Path boxes in the sky (assistances, visual assistance, flight path on/off). So that your flight path is exactly the same path every flight. LECU to LEMD, it will CTD right when you fly through the 2nd big green square flight path box gate in the air. It's a 30 seco…

Is the 737-900ER more aerodynamically efficient than the standard 900? The reason that I ask is that Vref of the 900 (with two thirds fuel and no passengers) is 142 knots, but the Vref of the 900ER in this configuration is only 137 knots, even though it is four tons heavier (with both auxiliary fuel tanks enabled). On a side note, I really like how the engines sound a lot quieter in the 900 when compared to the 600, because they are further away from the cockpit. I cannot remember if I noticed that in the P3D version. The engines also sound different on take off, although that may be because the thrust at take off is significantly higher than the 600 (at the take off…

After SU3 I downloaded the default 737 in order to improve its flight model. However I can't find the appropriate cfg files anywhere. I also have the PMDG777 and the Aerosoft CRJ and their cfgs files are readily accessible in their folders in the community folder. The 737 is there but those files seem to be nowhere. In the PMDG and AS folders those cfg's show up under the airplanes folder, but not with the asobo 737. Any suggestions? Or unlike previous editions of MSFS I'm out of luck? Thanks. Mike

Prior to today I have not tried to use any AI traffic. Today I tried to use FSLTL. Let me state that in my Community folder I have the FSLTL Injector and the AIG flight plan library. I have deleted the FSLTL library so that AIG models will be used all the time. So I start the FSLTL Injector and the FSLTL screen shows all kinds of IFR and VFR planes all over the place. However, I don't see any planes anywhere when I look around, on the ground or in the air. Any ideas what I might have wrong? Thanks. Some other observations (not sure if they matter or not): Every time I open the FSLTL injector it says it can't find the Community folder, even though …

I did a VFR flight this morning and found photogrammetry extending from beyond Barry Island in the West all the way to Magor in the East. Whilst I had seen photogrammetry covering Newport and Cardiff before, I don't recall it extending either that far east or West or looking so good. Are Asobo actually improving photogrammic areas without telling us? What other areas may have improved without us knowing about it and therefore not exploring? Is my mind playing tricks on me? Was it always there or has there really been some under the radar improvements? It looks extremely realistic.

I am currently running on Nvidia driver 566.36, RTX 4090. I have changed the correct registry entry from 1 to 0, and restarted my machine. However, I still have Image Scaling and not Image Sharpening. Do I need a different driver version? Any other ideas? Thanks. NEVER MIND: Not sure what I did the first time but I went into the registry and changed the value again and now its working!

It’s a bit unrealistic to see the baggage conveyors drive away immediately after baggage loading is completed (which seems to be a very short duration as well), leaving the cargo doors gaping open for the rest of the much more lengthy PAX boarding process. IRL, even when bags are loaded, at least the forward conveyor is still connected to load any gate checked bags. Also, why do we continue to have trailer mounted generators and A/C units present at the gate? In every airport I’ve ever been to, AC and power are provided by connections from the jetway itself. Again, rather unrealistic. Any reason why these issues have yet to be corrected?

Hi, I need some help here. I have installed World Update 20 Japan this morning. The process was a little confusing for me. Now Japan appears as "Installed" in My Library, but I have all the previous updates as "Streamed". What's the difference? Have I downloaded by mistake all that scenery on my drive? I have a very good and stable Internet connection, so I would prefer to have this World Update streamed too (by the way, I usually only fly around Europe and America, so...). Did I install this package incorrectly or not? Can I have World Update 20 Japan just "Streamed"? Thank you Greetings

Hello, My question is : Is there an Eastern Metro Express Livery available for the MSFS 2024 TWIN OTTER?? I have checked Flightsim.to but there was none available with this livery. Also, Inibuilds A300-600/b6 I have downloaded the Eastern Airlines livery from Inibuilds Website. I was wondering if it's possible to fix on the Logo on the right side if possible?? After looking on Inibuilds homepage I'm still in doubt whether The A350 will work on both sims or if I have to buy it for each sim? And a second ?, I have just bought a Denver PMO-15602 15,6" notepad, will I be able to use that for Lido charts and for the A350's EFB?

I bought ChasePlane for 2020 and it's just way more than I really need or want. I'm very happy with my default views, easily assigned as you know for custom views, and just really miss the simple Fly-by and Tower View features we all became accustomed to. TBH, I'm not sure I'll install CP for 2024 it's just more than I really want and would love a simple option. I bring it up along w/ the poll as perhaps a dev might see it and see an opportunity. If loads of folks would want it it may well be a good op. I have no idea how complicated it would be to do though...

Is it finally time we see an absolute gorgeous LONG RANGE biz jet in the wonderful world of MSFS?! CJ Simulations announced this in their Discord tonight with the following Statement: "The third project I want to talk about—also mentioned a while back—is a business jet. This is a very ambitious project with its release date tied to building out the complete avionics, following official manuals. While it will never be a “study-level” aircraft, I’m working hard to implement all the avionics pages, and I’m very clear that I don’t want to ship aircraft that simply copy Asobo or Working Title avionics (e.g., jets with WT3000 garmin Or CJ4 or the Longitude avionics)…

At the moment I use Streamdeck to initiate pre-recorded announcements which I have recorded on flights, but they're limited to pushback and landing. This works pretty well, but I'd like something that automatically engages throughourt the flight at different phases, without any input from myself. I've seen this addon, https://www.skylinksimulations.com/product-page/skylink-cabin-crew which sounds really interesting. Can anyone here comment about this product. Any good, any limitations?

I fly a lot of small GA planes out of smaller airports in FS20 One immersion killer for me is that Asobo has given these small fields gigantic control towers. An example is KCCR MSFS20 😐 Real world 👍 Is there a global mod out there that can replace the gigantic stock towers with smaller more sensible ones at these small airports? If not then is there a config file held locally that is tweakable to achieve this? Sort of "tell" FS20 to generate small towers?

Was really looking forward to flying this aircraft in 2024 today. But the whole thing, in my opinion, is a mess. - Nosewheel steering with pedals is really difficult (apparently the only way to do this is by clicking the steering disconnect button on the tiller)...why not just make nosewheel steering with pedals an option? - GSX integration is clunky. Wouldn't load cargo until refuelling was complete (took forever to refuel and load). Totally unrealistic...both can be done together in the real world. - Calibration of TCA Airbus throttle is problematic. Reverse is a pain to set, detents all over the place (even after using the inbuilt system to set them). Fenix wo…

I tried all possible configurations when installing first MSFS 2020 and then FS 2024. With FS 2024 I had to learn "it's way" but nowadays I can easily move the "Packages" to wherever I want in 5 min, including the moving of the Community.., Official.. and Streamed Content folders. Since I now have a full nvme2 disk dedicated to MSFS **only**, I decided to try moving the install there through the application management options in Xbox, and found that it performed with some stutters here & there... Hmmm, I reverted to the default install folders under my system C : folder and then created again the F:\MSFS on the new FS2024-dedicated nvme2 disk. Aft…

Can’t figure out what’s going on with performance in this build….no one else seems to be complaining much about it, but the flight can be any length. It seems to happen with jets (only been using the triple and 737). Everything is very smooth up until approach and landing…then performance tends to drop through around 15,000’. Normally getting 144 FPS, on landing it drops to 90 or lower…doesn’t sound bad till you realize this is with 4x frame gen. It’s flyable, but nowhere near what it was using SU2. Feel like I’m going crazy, anyone else having a similar problem?

Dear All, After many flights with the ATR's on MSFS2020, I've finally worked out its many quirks and I enjoy flying them very much. However, one thing that I've found is that when I'm flying through clouds, the flight deck appears to be foggy, i.e., a light mist appears and the instruments don't look as well defined as usual. I was wondering if anyone else has found the same as me? Best regards, Peter
