Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I am trying to tidy up my inflight menu bar by removing a few unused icons. However I can't find the settings gear icon to the right of the menu bar. Is there another way to access this please.

Anybody else has this problem? The plane starts rocking left and right really weird during flight on autopilot. It seems really weird behaviour only with Ifly 737, when I disengage autopilot it stops. Just happens randomly during a flight rest of flight perfect. Hi After an otherwise successfil re-installation of both airplane and PMS50 GTN750 (MSFS 2020 with correct livery choice) the HSI doesn't get any inputs from NAV1. NAV2 works perfectly with VOR or ILS set and and DME works perfectly with both NAV1 or NAV2. Cannot use the autopilot with HDG or APR set. Hopefully somebody has an idea of how to resolve that very annoying problem ...

Hello, someone please to help me according the missing content.xml file from the Local Cache folder. Normally after an update deleting this file suppose to be recreated. Now is missing Any help please? Thank you

If a small team of developers at Laminar Research can provide a feature as essential to serious flight simulation as weather radar, why can’t the army of developers at Asobo get it done? Because they don’t care, as it’s “just a game?”. Missions and careers and giraffes and elephants and ships are more important it seems than core flight simulation functionality. Seriously, this has been at the top of the most requested features since forever. This very nice program has been to me many, many years now and I like it. I have Navigraphs Charts and nice LittleNavMap , too but I like to use AivlaSoft EFB in many small things as I plan my Flightplan. A problem I found yestarday and today, too is that Movingmap "freeze" after about 40 - 60 minutes. Before that it's works like charm. I use EFB Client my laptop and EFB2 Server dekstop. I check that IP4 values match, then I shut down both addons and started them again. Nothing helped. It stay freezed a same point where it was stopped earlier. Has somebody any idea that what's going on and about ehat can I to do? Thank You

For the landing approach in airliners I find the glass cockpit screens hard to read. But at the same time I dont want to set a view that has me jammed up against the panel like my nose is touching the windscreen. As we all know, in external view we see these gauges: I was wondering if it would be possible to have them appear like this from the flight deck view of ANY airplane. after pressing a hotkey combo. I did this in MS Paint just to illustrate: Would anyone know how to do this? A file I can edit, a mod you know about? Microsoft/Inibuilds NAMC YS-11 for MSFS2020 Description: While flying the NAMC YS-11 , I’ve consistently observed a wing-low attitude during cruise when the autopilot is engaged. The aircraft flies wings-level manually, and fuel trim gauges confirm balanced fuel distribution. CG is within limits, as flight plans are generated via Simbrief. I’ve tested both HDG and NAV modes—no difference. Applying aileron trim temporarily corrects the roll, but the autopilot soon overrides and reverts to the wing-low attitude. There is an option in the AIG Manager to reduce the wingspans of AI planes so that (apparently) more AI planes are visible at airports (due to some bug with the AI parking spot sizes). Is this just for default airports, or does it also make a difference with payware airports?

Can someone please let me know if static aircraft can be disabled at the following airports in MSFS 2020? ORBx LGSK Skiathos - I purchased this from the MS Marketplace, but at least one screenshot on ORBx Direct seems to show an empty airport. PilotPlus EGMC Southend - I suspect that it is impossible. Is there any way to get registrations to show on planes where they are missing? (Latest Beta) For the A2A Comanche, for example, the stock registrations (or custom ones) show on the side of the aircraft, but on some repaints with dynamic registrations they won’t display at all. Is there a trick to force the registration to display (even if it’s a fixed vs. dynamic registration)? Thanks…

Hi all I use fsuipc for all my controls and switches. In the cowansim md500e I have set the cyclic controls to aileron and elevator but I get no response from the control surfaces. Is anyone here flying a cowansim helo and using fsuipc Cheers Rhys

I finally took the leap and bought MSFS 2024 (Steam version) and took a trip around Sydney, and was surprised to see melting scenery and ships floating in the air. I thought that melting scenery was a thing in the first versions of 2024, but maybe it's a setting that I need to change. Any ideas?

Updated the Fenix today, for 2020 and 2024, and now it doesnt load the flightplan on the INIT page anymore. Worked fine last weeks. Anyone having this problem too?

Hi all, Im on Sim Beta 4 and this morning loaded a flight with the iFly Max 8 and noticed that all the jetways are gone. Redownloaded the scenery and then came back. After the flight relaunched the sim and the jetways are gone again. Anyone have this issue?

Dear fellow simmers, I'm hoping for your help after Fenix support said they're unable to assist with my issue. The issue here is that I converted an MSFS 2020 Fenix A320 livery to MSFS 2024 using the tool LiveryConverter2024. The conversion went well and the livery shows up correctly in the sim when the aircraft is selected. However, the airplane using the converted livery loads up with a cold and dark display and the only display showing is the batteries that show 00.0v. Everything else is dark and non responsive though the APU could be clearly heard "ON" and from the exterior view, the nose wheel light is ON. I could not figure out what the issue is and how to…

I have the PMDG 777-200ER and PMDG 777-300ER for MSFS 2024. What am I missing not having the PMDG 777-200LR? I assume everything in the 200LR is just as good as in the 200ER and 300ER. That being the case, why is it only $49.99? Is this a flight sim bargain I shouldn't pass up? Lastly, what is your favorite PMDG 777 and why?
