That's because it's a teaser, that's kind of the whole point of a teaser to be sparse in detail but enough to pique interests.

Its 2025 and MS/Asobo have released freakin fictional Dune and Top Gun content.

If you all of a sudden want to be angry at ORBX for doing the same fun fictional content.

You should go find a much more "serious simmer's sim".... 🤣

If it gets the under 12's involved in MSFS it's no bad thing 🙂

I guess it's just not for you, nothing wrong with that. I had assumed they were comment on the quality of the teaser itself rather than what it was teasing at.

This will sell very well on X-box and yes hopefully will bring in a much younger audience to aviation instead of kids just playing first person shooters. 

For all the naysayers, I’m just happy that at my age I still haven’t lost my imagination, sense of wonder and ability to let loose and have fun with new experiences even if they don’t conform to reality. Not everything has to be a complete replication of life!

Plus, maybe it will keep the kids in that location while on multiplayer. 😉

I think this looks like fun. Not sure I'll buy it, but there are definitely nights after a long work day when bush flying around dinos sounds like more fun than running checklists. 

Are these going to be just a bunch of generic tropical islands with animated dinosaurs or are they going to model the buildings and vehicles featured in the films ? If we could get the island from the first film recreated with all the buildings, cars and electric fences that would be so awesome. But seeing as they are doing multiple islands it looks they might not have as much detail to them as I'm hoping. Fingers crossed.

Edit: okay it looks like there will be some custom buildings and structures so we'll have to wait and see how much detail they go into.

This is why i feel it was a very poor low effort "preview trailer". 

We are simply left with confusion at this point. No excitement nor anticipation staring at those blank green landmasses covered with clouds.

There seems to be a lot of people wondering what all is included. FSelite has an article that states the following:
 

In collaboration with Universal Products and Experiences, Orbx teased Jurassic World: Archipelago for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 through a video posted on their YouTube channel.

Set off the coast of Costa Rica and just before the 2015 Jurassic World film, Orbx aims to capture the islands in a moment where the park is operational, but not fully under control.

Pilots will have the opportunity to explore freely or partake in a range of missions, including VIP transports, guided photography tours, and tests of flying skill. Over half a dozen different airstrips and twice as many helipads will be included in the pack.

Juan Santamaria Airport and Herradura Bay Marina will also receive custom scenery for ferry flights to and from the Jurassic World, which includes Isla Nublar and the five islands of the Cinco Muertes Archipelago: Isla Sorna, Isla Matanceros, Isla Muerta, Isla Tacaño, and Isla Pena.

Nobody is forcing anyone to buy it. Just like other addons/scenery/planes that some hate or don't want. There's a long list. 

I think instead of taking out IFR planes over 8 hour flights this might be a lot of fun. Landing a goose on the water nearby to watch the animals? Helicopter instead? 

My kid is going to love this. Heck, I will  love this.
