Transparent VR Controllers - Mod - Free
Link : https://flightsim.to/addon/107796/transparent-vr-controllers A mini mod from me that is good to hide the VR Controller in the Cockpit. This is required for myself and I think can be helpful anyone that need the same. This mod makes the unneccessary virtual controllers transparent while using hand tracking and/or hand passthrough. Also it is successfull for the use of HTCC (Hand Tracked Cockpit Controls) which lets you to use your hands for the cockpit buttons and knobs. Of course not a perfect solution but we are highly expecting native Hand Controls in VR Cocpit from MS/Asobo and or the 3th party aircraft developers. A link is also below that you can vote for this immersion feature. Thanks. Link : https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/hand-controls-in-vr-cockpit/758101?u=kokokt999

CTD every time I exit VR in 2024
It happens to me as well. I found a solution for this on the net. First quit to Main Menu in VR, then make CTRL+TAB. This prevented the CTD for me. Hope this helps.

Should I trust Chat GPT regarding this about Quest 3
Another option for you can be as mine. For my Quest 3, I am using ethernet and power adapter with an ethernet connection to the PC. This allows cable connection which is better and less laggy. And with some OpenXR Toolkit or better Vrperfkit (single basic file) it can be adjusted to a different FOV and higher resolution. And I am really happy with the results. Very clear cockpit textures and really good rendering, even with my old PC which has low-end hardware.(Look at my signature for the hardware) Ethernet connection is very good and no need for a special router for this. You only need a quality ethernet - power adapter (Ugreen) which is not expensive and attach this adapter to your headset with velcro straps. (Choose a very small but a quality adapter which will ad a few grams to your headset.) And your headset is always fully charged as it is connected to the power while using (limitless power) And Quest 3 is affordable has many affordable accessories and solutions already. These are the critical points for me to choose this solution. Of course it is a personal choice. If you need more info, I can try to help. Happy flying.

Some guidance on CPU, GPU Utilization
For VR framerate, the best practice is to set the limit in accordance with your VR headset. In my example, my Quest 3 is set to 72 fps for headset to generate views and therefore MSFS2024 is set to 36 (half of 72) or if the GPU is powerful maybe to 72 to match the framerates. If you use Pimax or etc. check your fps on your headset and adjust MSFS2024 VR fps to half or same fps for a better performance. In my case, CPU is the bottleneck therefore I really do need to use GPU instead of CPU.Therefore , I know the tricks to optimise CPU. But in your case, CPU and GPU are all powerfull, so just to decsrease GPU consumption will give you the equilibrium. Good Luck

Some guidance on CPU, GPU Utilization
Hi, Very shortly for GPU optimisation, limit your FPS in VR (and/or 2D) to your requirement (mine is limited to 36 fps, which is the half of Quest 3 frequency 72) You do not have CPU bottleneck. I have also CPU bottleneck and I use Proccess Lasso for CPU utilisation and core prioritisation (affinity).

Hand Controls in VR Cockpit
Please vote this topic if you are interested in bringing hand control in VR Cocpit where other tiny sims already have done it years ago. It will be a very good immersion upgrade for all. Thanks.

Hand Controls in VR Cockpit
As can be seen in an old video of AeroFly Sim it is integrated quite well and MS/Asobo can bring this to a better level for sure.
