Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Anyone know where the gauge is located in the Baron 58P that tells how much oxygen is left in the tank. It's there in the normal aspirated version but not the TC/P version (at least from what I can tell).😶

Suddenly I cannot fly the PC-24 in free flight anymore. What happened? Thanks

I'm having trouble signing into the microsoft part of the sign in process of MSFS24. I see the sign in field and try to type in it, but it doesn't type anything. My keyboard works fine it's just msfs24.

Hi, I have issues I never understood. First of all I have MSFS 2020 Steam edition and on my Desktop I have two shortcuts: one that says: steam://rungameid/1250410 - and one that says: Location: Flight Simulator(C:\Program Files (X86)\ Steam\Steamapps\common\MicrosoftFlightSimulator) both work and if one doesn't I choose the other. 1.Why two shortcuts? 2. The second problem is recent: I have the Simulator on an ssd drive called MSFS2020(F:) on drive F and another I installed recently called FS 2020 (H) which is on an M2 drive. Just a quickie. Having just spent most of the day sorting out all of my MSFS, keyboard and controller settings which microsoft kindly deleted for me again (for some reason, restoring my backups didn't work), I'm left with one I can't find. I had a key set to rermove chocks and pito covers when starting from the ramp, so that I could enter the aircraft and start up. I can't seem to find this anywhere and wonderif someone could remind me of which setting and where to find it. Thanks.

Forever in MSFS I've been puzzled why it is in order to get the graphics of a HUD centered and showing correctly always ends up with a FOV that is much more zoomed out than it should be. It's not all bad because it gives a sense of speed while close to the ground, the zoomed out aspect, but then the FOV is very off. It seems like the HUD graphics need to be independently zoomable if you will but not seeing if that's an option. I'm referring to the HUD on Aerosoft CRJs, but I'm thinking I-Fly's MAX 8 is probably the same issue. So when setting cockpit views I always drop the HUD down and adjust zoom and eyepoints to get the HUD looking best.

In EFB I load a flightplan from the web and then select to send to avionics. This has worked before and I could see the flightplan inserted in the GPS. But not now. The plane I used is BS Piston Duke with both 430 and 530 GPS units. What is wrong ?

After couple weeks tweaking p3dv5 I'm back for some MSFS (for the scenery of course!). Started Map Enhancement mod and see this (to me) worrying message. Is this good or bad? Are we pc users being 'mandatory downgraded' for the console market or streamlined of stuff we don't need for better default performance? I'm not restarting the mod yet, gonna have one last flight in hi-res mode (unless MSFS will of course just kill this option on start). Will those of us who spend time and money tweaking high end pc systems to get the best possible quality scenery (LS/AutoFPS etc) going to see a loss of quality (at ALL flight levels) or am I just worrying over a fea…

So, in the Airbus, we get the Enter Dest Data at a certain distance from the destination. I then pull up the EFB, look at the weather at the airport, and fill in the fields. I could also use the Fenix app, and the METAR. But I'm usually way too far to get the ATIS. That got me thinking - in the real world, how do you get the info if you're far away from ATIS. Is it just beamed direct to the plane via CPDLC or something like that every time? Do you get it from a tablet? Or do you hear ATIS?

Hi all, I am going from MSFS 2020 to 2024, I have a question about saving and resuming flights. I have FSUIPC autosave on and I fly long-haul. Somehow I can not resume flights that is autosaved by FSUIPC7. How does this works? Greetings

If I want to upgrade MSFS 2020 airports to the MSFS 2024 versions at the following outlets, how would I do it? ORBx Central MS Marketplace Contrail/IniManager/SimMarket have options to install MSFS 2024 versions, but I am not certain what happens with the above. Do they both automatically detect that MSFS 2024 is installed, and provide download options for each product?

Since today the stock FS Flight Planner doesn't save anymore my newly created flight plans ("cannot save flight plan"). I can still open formerly created flight plans. Does anybody knows a solution for this and can tell, where flight plans are stored (store version)?

After a long time away from using PG decided to enable it and noticed around Denver/KBJC the fall leaf drop wasn't happening as all deciduous trees were looking lush green everywhere. Turned PG off, and then most trees were leafless as they are getting close to now in the real world. Is this issue widespread w/ PG? Did you see fall colors in NA if you use PG, this fall?

I bought MSFS 2020 Deluxe version on Windows store when it first launched but I can't decide whether or not I should upgrade to 2024? If I do upgrade, I plan on going with the steam version this time and perhaps just get the standard version only, since I don't really care for the deluxe airports. 3rd party payware airports are still better quality than the one that ships with deluxe. I have watched lots of videos on YouTube of the new MSFS 2024, and even though it does look better, night lighting and ground textures alone makes it better. But I'm not sure if it's $60 better.
